“I don’t know why I’m so aggressive towards you right now” 😂🤣
😂 sorry guys!
I've heard about SIPP and SSAS before. Going into that in a bit more detail would be great. Maybe show strategies on how to allocate income to one of them and how you can invest in property using them. The tax benefits, efficient strategies etc. Great vid as always, mate.
I've been buying S&P 500 ETF, along with a few other global trackers for the past few years. Getting a few grand in dividends now per year its good.
How much your investment in total
Where are your dividends coming from mate? Is it from the global tracker? I heard the S@P 500 dosent give you a lot of dividends, might be wrong though 🤔
@@mazzgoldie9149 I own a FTSE All-World ETF (VWRL), and the I own JPMorgan Growth & Income ETF (JGGI), overall pays me about 2% per year of what I have invested.
Nice one Jamie, very helpful and good breakdown
The Vanguard FTSE global all cap for me. Spread my bets around the world rather than just US or UK.
Thanks for all that useful information. Not many people know about it.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
please can you make a vedio about letting the property to council

Hi Jamie, my own personal residence is currently valued at £290k, with a £50k mortgage and I have just over £50k of savings. I’ve been contemplating for a while whether to either pay off house and be mortgage free or use the equity in my home, along with my savings, to invest in more btls. I’m 37 btw and have a family with 3 small children. The thought of adding more btls to my portfolio interests me with the obvious upside being more passive cash flow and capital appreciation. However, the risk of putting a bigger mortgage on my own property again when it could easily be paid off stops me. Would appreciate any advice. Thank you
What’s your income per annum?
@@peters3724 £60k
Which lenders will give a BTL mortgage up front, as all I have dealt with need the property to be rented out for 6 months first - meaning I have to buy the property cash....?
Precise bank, Together finance and Vida home loans but they are not always the cheapest rates. The upside is you get rent and income flowing, so then use profits to invest and get the property managed.
Can you show us the £300 per month S&S route to millionaire please?
You can make the same amount of money with dividends but tax free in the isa. I don't see the appeal in buy to let. You get taxed on the rent and taxed then you sell the property

i had to pay tax on my ISA tax free money, when you transfer it to your current account its then taxable? what do you do with the extra money you make from your ISA every year?
You 100% should not be paying tax on ISA earned income.
@@JamieYork but when you move it from your isa to your current account is that not classed as income? how do i not pay tax on it? what do you do with your isa earned income?
You don't pay tax on it

How do people get the initial, i,e “£70k”.. after bills I’ve very little of my income left & at 45yr old would struggle to be able to fund and or reduce hours to support further education 😬
You buy an asset you can rent and profit on, there’s so many UA-cam videos to educate but you’ll learn much in the doing and not just watching and reading. Just start 🙏

investing in oneself is very expensive and risky. For exemple, there is a great ammount of people in the west and latin america that went to University and can't get a job according to their formation.
Hi Jamie, I'm currently in a dilemma regarding cash allocation,
I'm a home owner with a house valued at around 750k, with a 57k morgage, a btl flat valued at 65k owned outright in a ltd company currently leased to the council for the next five years with a Rental income of 5.2k a year. I have 275k in cash that I was going to buy more btls but it is becoming more of a pain in the arse hence why I leased my flat to the council for hassle free passive income, I have an isa already that I max out every year, 20k in physical gold for insurance incase the shit hits the fan and a 30k stocks and shares portfolio, were do you think the best place for my cash to be invested for a decent return and minimum agro,
Many thanks.
Im inspired by you. How long did it take (in years) for you to get to your current financial position?
I'm 47 and been focused and concentrating on my finances since I was 28.
You'd have an advisor with this level of assets, nice flex though
No, I actually haven't, iv just lived on a shoe string for years and been extremely consistent with my savings, but I'm at a point were I want to try and maximise my efforts, I thought I wanted to do btl but that is a lot more hassle than you would think.
You're not that much older than me but i started my financial journey later than you. Well done to you being focused & disciplined. Ive had good experience in btl even though im at least 100 miles from my investments they have so far been relatively hands free and low maintenance. Having good tenants can save tons of £££'s, time, and headache.
You mentioned being consistent with savings, how much were you saving on average each month?
