Title: A Bad Dream [2006] Band: Keane (Tom Chaplin on vocals, Tim Rice-Oxley on keyboards, Richard Hughes on drums) *all credit to Keane. I don't own any audio from this video.*
This song is influenced by a poem by W.B. Yeats, called “An Irish Airman Foresees His Death”. It’s about an airman in the First World War who, although not convinced of what he was fighting for, still did his duty. That was back in the day when Ireland was still part of the UK, so some nationalist soldiers were conflicted about who they were fighting for. I know that I shall meet my fate Somewhere among the clouds above; Those that I fight I do not hate Those that I guard I do not love; My country is Kiltartan Cross, My countrymen Kiltartan’s poor, No likely end could bring them loss Or leave them happier than before.
Amazing song. I listened to this song as my mum drove me back from the hospital after I had found out I had a missed miscarriage a few weeks before that, and was currently travelling back home after I just had a tablet inserted to induce me into labour so I could birth at home.. some of these lyrics fit perfectly
@@Hello-be7ob hahaha it s not stupid, he was a very lucky Gabriel to have someone that felt something for him. It doesn t happen so often, maybe i could be your ex crush but i don t think so, the world is so big, so many Gabriel hahaha, awww, hope you will find your happiness with or without Gabriel🤪
To my childhood friend that we ended our relationship after 16 years and now all those unique memories pop up while the words i hear are 'would not mind it, if you were by my side but you' re long gone... '
RIP Laverne, such a powerful death from a comedy show. Scrubs really is one of a kind.
This song is so unknown but it's so hauntingly beautiful I really don't get why it's so underrated
