Awesome video Chris , I love the Koken nut grip sockets as well. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks my friend! Thanks for watching
I love most of the ICON stuff. I have sockets, ratchets, and pliers from ICON and they work great. I really like the Tekton ratchets also. I like the lug sockets, so those maybe a next buy. I am interested in seeing the nut grips in action.
Nice! At the end of the day I always say. Buy what works for you. We all have preferences!
As far as Jack's Garage...to each their own. My input...The more teeth on a ratchet the stronger & allows you to ratchet it in tight places vs the course teeth versions. I love my Snap-on ratchets and have been using them since 1974. Only difference is I bought the fine tooth ratchets so I very seldom use my older ratchets. As far as the other tools you showed you are absolutely right...you may hardly use them but when you need to it sometimes means the difference in completing a repair!
Interesting haul. Seems to me 1 impact swivel joint combined with the swivel sockets would be the same as the whole Koken set.
You can also get all 4 Koken lugnuts sockets on amizon for around 100.00 dollars the case would be nice I like to have all them together so I can grab it go but not for 200.00
Nice!!
I have a Koken 1/2” Ratchet set and it is sublime! I use it primarily on automotive endeavors and you can feel the difference as compared to a lesser quality set!
Awesome! That’s good to hear. Thanks for watching the video as well 💪💪
you already know i love the Ko-Ken! 😎 as far as icon, i have the 3/8” swivel set and they were good to me. but being a toyota guy, the 17mm broke first (it’s always the first idk why haha) and then the 19 locked up on me. other than that no real issues with them
That’s what I’m guessing since I’m wrenching on my Hondas as you know!
The first 3 Garage
I have those icon swivels in 3/8 and 1/2 and they take a hell of a beating on my air impacts and CT9050. They all rotate super smooth. My gearwrench swivels are utter garbage hardly used them and they are practically destroyed
Good to hear. I plan on putting them through the paces for sure.
I am certainly in a similar situation , HF is close to an hour away for me so the convenience factor is not there..Truck tools for me..nut grip sure is a nice design..Nice haul.
Yea it’s hard if it’s no close for sure. Doesn’t make it convenient. That’s why I typically get things I don’t care if they break.
Hello again Enright Automotive
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I'm waiting for a new job to help me pay for the Koken 12 point Nut Grip Sockets. As I have more twelve points hardware than six point hardware. Hopefully, you will do a after action report on well they work out? Again thank you
Good luck on the job search my friend. Keep grinding!! Lots of places hiring if you are in the states!! Appreciate you watching
@Enright Auto Thank you it's been a while since I've worked on aircraft. The job market here is kind of dry. I do look forward to more of your content!!!!
How are the icon swivel sockets holding up
So far good. I don’t use them nearly as much as my snap on’s though. The collar gets in the way a lot
20 minutes isn't close. LOL.
When you are running your own business by yourself 20 minutes won’t be close to you either.
