I been trying to draw and write every day but there are the days where you are so down and that have negative affect on the quality of your work. Still wondering how Oda didn't let that happen
I feel you im manhwa artist and i started to hate drawing after the fourth page and stop to draw for 5 months literally 😔 i just came back to draw again this week
How do you write 10 different series at the same time and keep the quality of each? I could write multiple at once, but when I'm writing one, every idea that comes to me goes to one series, and it improves the quality of it, where as, if i was to write multiple at once, if feels like I'm not hitting the ceiling that it could reach.
Aaaahhh…Thank you for this video!!! Currently I work PT at my job and need it to help cushion me financially and planning and saving up for my first trip to Tokyo for 10 days…For me, I’m more into shoujo manga even wanting to collect old shoujo magazines from the 80’s and prior which I love how the style was back during those years…^____< I wish you much happiness and good fortunes n your manga!!!
Just 10 series? Yeah sure just 🤣🤣🤣 I mean I get what you meant in that context but working on multiple series is already really impressive. I have more than one story too but I'm not working constantly on all of them, I plan to actually go one by one but who knows that might change. In any case I definitely can't imagine myself with your level of organisations at least not in near future or without additional help 😅 so from my point of view I would say you are very organised.
I personally think taking feedbacks is good when you’re talking to experts, teachers, close associates and collaborators. But when it comes to the online audience you don’t know, I won’t approve of taking any advice or feedbacks too seriously. Many people just come online anonymously and say whatever they want to whoever they think deserves it. Some people will troll just because they can and some will offer advice even though they aren’t even close to what you can do or care about the project you put your heart to. TLDR; Do not take criticisms from someone you wouldn’t take advice from. However, You can act like you care to inflate their sense of importance and their interest in you.
Agreed!!! Most people have the other problem - not listening to anyone. But the other side, listening to everyone too much, is also an issue. Balance in everything
I'm curious what do you think about the future of the art of drawing comics in the face of AI? Do you feel it will eventually be a dying artform because everyone will be making comics/manga with AI (I know it's not good for comics now, but in a couple years who knows) or do you have any reasons to believe that the artform that is actually drawing comics will make it through the AI apocalypse?
How do you write/how did you start out writing in terms of format? Especially if I want to get my story to become an manga/anime. Should I write books, novels, screenplay, etc.?

It was excellent content. Now all that remains is for you to actually become a successful cartoonist and prove this video correct.
I consider myself successful! I wouldn’t give this advice if I wasn’t making a living from this already
