Honestly love this content you’re doing. It’s hard to find/get insight from the Top Dogs in this industry so the explanations really help for someone like me who’s trying to evaluate the best path to take.
Would you ever do a video on script writing? Also getting stuff serialized… and on that note, gathering a team (editor, artists, etc.) to help with production
As a person with severe ADHD one thing that helps me or at least in the writing stage is I write a quick outline and then very very quickly without worrying about spelling and grammar mistakes write at least one chapter then run it through an ai writing site like chatgpt or grammarly for sex scenes eroticaai cause chat got and gramly will not edit sex scenes (also chat will scold you for your writing........) Just to clean up your writing. The only down side to using ai writing sites as an editor is it tries to take over your story so going back and forth is bit of a hassle. This however is a great help when writers block hits hard as sometimes I know what I want to happen in a scene but not entirely sure how to write it all out ill instead a summary of what going on and let chat convert it into what the previous chapters look like. Then I use doom builder to make my sets since its both cheap and easy to use then I go to Pinterest to make character sheets since its a reference power house
One question I do have is: How would one translate the skills of traditional writing (writing manuscripts/ fantasy books etc.) to WEBTOON / manga writing?
Trying to get this figured out as well I do a bit of drawing so it's already in my head, but if you are trying to work with an artist I would separate the story, dialogue and actions in to separate things so the artist knows what's going on because they have to draw the scenes first then all the words get put in to it, also try to simplify it, like he said too much text is a no no

I love your videos. I decided I’m going to write my novels and stories more as mangas. By that I mean not get so wordy. Just cut right to the meat, not a lot of explaining, maybe books don’t always have to be 60-80k words.
Heres a quesyltion fo sales of manga out side of that mangas state of orgin effect if the series will still run. For example if you dont buy the latest kaiju no 8 then would the series be effected even though its made in japan?
