Your videos are awesome! I just discovered your channel. Great stuff, man. Thanks for doing this. I can tell you're having a blast. Thanks for the inspiration.
The creeks and rivers in the Sierra are gonna be raging for at least a few more months. Maybe late summer they’ll be fishable. Thankfully, this will only make fishing better once the snowpack settles down!
"Son of a hamster"? That's a new one for me. Lol As usual an awesome video. All of us anglers know the awful feeling of losing a fish just as you're about to net it. You did however make up for it with that nice catch. Good job!!!
😂 glad I got to teach ya something new hahah You’re darn right about that…just when you haven’t lost a fish in a long time, you lose one, and you remember just how thankful you should be every time you get one in the net 😅
I’m using waders from the company Paramount. However…they burst on me after less than a year of use and maybe 8 trips (the seams gave out). The company promptly sent me a new pair. BUT, on my 3rd wear (which was this video), I came back with a tear on my shin (which was double padded), and on my butt (from normal sitting throughout the day). They’re inexpensive ($160), so, I guess you get what you pay for? I’m going to reach out to them again…but, I can’t recommend you a brand of waders yet.
😂i have been watching your videos for about six months and this is by far the best one that I have seen. Can you say the name of the person who taught you to fly fish?
Haha thank you Joan, glad you’re enjoying them!! Tim Huckaby is the man who taught me! Here’s his fly fishing blog! (he also does guided trips) 👇🏻 www.timhuckaby.com/fly-fishing-blog/
Nice campfire with plenty of coals for cooking, yet using bottled gas??? You shared a knife on a stone like you’re trying to take off a thin slice of the stone. You are rolling the edge and actually dulling the knife. You only go in the direction you were going when stropping your blade.
this channel is so underrated
Seriously
🙏🏻🙏🏻
I know I genuinely don't understand how, you deserve alot more, keep making these amazing videos friend
Thank you guys! Comments like these keep me motivated 🙏🏻💪🏻

Fallen Leaf is on my list! There are SO many lakes up there I wanna fish 😅
Great trip!
I went fishing today up in that area in some creeks but the water is just moving way too fast right now because of all the snow

Thanks for the tip on the correct direction of the blade! I’ve recently switched to a Worksharp and it’s helping me learn a 20 degree angle
