- Finally Project Bayonetta is kind of completed!
Master LL presents... Bayonetta Torture Exhibition.. the first in HD too!
You will see all the unique torture attacks in the whole game! While there are some torture missing, it is not important since it is just a variation of a previous angel's death (Beloved has 4 torture variation, I only showed the last one which is pretty cute and funny to me).
I would add it all and even more.. but the boss's finishers take a huge amount of time away.. and with a time limit due from YT, I didn't add it nor to do I want to split it into multiple parts. The main thing is all the unique tortures are included.
Bayonetta is an amazing game considering I loved DMC1 and was so happy to play a game like that again but with much more kickass flair.
Overall, I give the game a 9.5/10... maybe I'll write a review one day in Gamefaqs for this game.

that volleyball sequence was so confusing but funny. I thought I screwed up and had to start again. but man all these concepts were so cool
I kind of miss the excessive violence in Bayo 2. Sure, they pushed for a 16+ rating and the gameplay has improved greatly, but it feels like something's amiss.
I find it hilarious when the hair hands play volleyball and when one pair misses it, the music stops for a few seconds. Then they all start wailing on the ball!

This has to be one of the best Video game exhibition videos out there. For me it is. ;3
Excellent music timing, scene placement, and great skills to execute all of these climaxes to boot!
The finishing blow with Balder's final words with the chorus interlude, is just astoundingly phenomenal and ecstatic. And especially with the summoning of Sheba during the chorus, it is the arrival of a god.
Total brilliance. I only wish there were more views.
She must have gotten off early because she survived atmospheric reentry because when she falls she generates a magical barrier when she is falling. The statue was thrown into the sun, and if she can't survive lava, there is no way she could survive the sun. I also didn't argue the statue riding back part, I argued that she wouldn't be able to directly control it, and I again mention that it probably was a limit break because they weren't to far away from Earth when they fought.
That ending. PURE "DAMN" MOMENT!
That is because she is in witch time (AKA demon magic enhancing her) and the statue was already highly damaged by the time she got to it. Dante only dodges what will kill him, if it won't kill him, or barley hurt him, he tends to just sit there and take it. I consider any part of the spine getting severed fatal, and if when him and Vergil were young and able to survive that, then I don't think he can be decapitated. Also, she is slower than Dante, her bat form wouldn't help her for long.
This game definitely looks worth playing. Thanks for the exhibition, it really just motivated me to get this game, and Merry Christmas!

i love the fact that you punch the final boss so hard that she flew a cross oure solar system and right into the sun thats fucking epic!
The witch time is given to the witches by demons and I can guess the sages by angels. she doesn't ride the statue otherwise she would have gotten burned to death. She doesn't control the statue, that is her demonic summon with the power to punch it that far that fast, also the rocket that sent the statue into space wasn't going that fast, based on the text, that was probably her summons special ability, sort of like a limit break.
That ending was very well donee you did an outstanding job.

Also, Bayonetta is just a human who is enhanced by magic granted by a demonic contract with the devil, and in DMC 1 Dante defeats the king of hell AKA strongest demon Mundus. Bayonetta can't survive being crushed or being blown up, things where Dante already has gone through plenty. All of Bayonetta's power comes from demons that Dante kills, hell, her spider summon based on the description is actually a lava spider demon that Dante kills several off, one in DMC1, and another in DMC2.

I noticed that in every torture attack here, Bayonetta's outfits change. Not that I mind, the opposite actually. Even words like 'Hot', 'Sexy', 'Cheeky', and 'Awesome' is not enough to describe The Umbra Witch.
Nice video. Some tortures are great and the end of Jubileus with "Fly me to the moon", performed by Brenda Lee, by the way, was so cute...
It's a shame that the game ended..But no matter, I'll buy it when it comes to Europe.

They were a few hundred miles from Earth at best, and the Soul Form just supports my Limit Break comments.

Side Note: Dante still keeps growing more and more powerful, he hasn't reached a limit yet.
I have to say that bayonetta and dante fit themselves together.......oh yeah....almost the same fight style and sarcastic humor
Last torture attack you are actually controlling jubileus trajectory and you have to dodge all 9 planets!

Once again, her witch time is a demon contract power that she is granted. When she is batty, Dante will just shoot the bats that are her body and then thats game over, and she never intercepts objects at light speed. Also Dante has quick silver on top of his own amazing speed.

Main Weapon: Sword of Sparda from DMC1 final battle.
Sub Weapon: Beowolf from DMC3 ( Even when not the main equipment Beo still inccreases his speed and atk power. )
Ranged Wepons: I&E + Pandora becous that one is just so powerful.
Style: He can use all of his styles like in DMC 4 inclouding Quick Silver and Doppelganger from DMC3.
Mode: Super Dante.
This is the Dante that Bayonetta should try to beat. It would be preaty imposibble. :P

Just because Dante wasn't as dramatic as Nero doesn't change the fact that they've both cried before. You talk like Nero has no right or reason to get frustrated when he got so close saving his girl only to fail.

Her probably using it first is truely more likely but then again if we take her fighting style onto acounts. She dose not start of by her climax moves and her witch time is not infinit so Dante would easily survive the first witch time and will be prepared for the next. Now we know that Dante might not prefere his extra weapons but we also know that he is not an idiot. If it's necesery for survival and victory he would use the extra powers in his arsenal.

Also Witch Time while you are in game only slows time as well but don't stop it. And quick silver in it's cut scean stoped the rocks from falling not slowed them down so I could say the Quicksilver is the one that stops not witch time.

Damn, you didn't seem to have any trouble guiding Jubileus into the sun. Everytime I do it, she just rolls around in everywhere even though I'm holding one direction - maybe my controller just hates me.
Dante and Vergil have the same regeneration and Vergil regenerated his midsection after being cut all the way through with Rebellion in the end of DMC3, Dante has been stabbed in the heart god knows how many times by claymores usually, he can go fast enough to completely disappear while if you pay attention Bayonetta leaves after images, she is fast, but Dante is faster, and the angel statue was being controlled by her wicked weave summon, not her directly, her summon is a strong demon.

no u can only have her hair down whenever u fight a cardinal or when u r using the old umbran costume her gloves colored black is quite unnatural plus u can only get the costume once u finish the game
In the end she would be down for the count faster then having the chance to use a climax move. ( The wicked waves are not a big threat to Dante. Nero can summon up a giant arm as well just like Bayonetta and Dante can beat him whitout much problem. )

Can you get into detail about Bayonettas strenght feats? I didn't fully play Bayonetta. I played the game from Chapter 1-3 and watched a friend play chapter 10-final. Chapter 4-9 I know nothing about.
But in the mantined chapters I didn't really sow thing that I think Dante can't do. Also most my argumants as you might have sow revolved around DMC3 and 4 Is I have played those. I could never get my hands on 1 or 2 even thou I really want to play them. ( Thou I watched they're cutsceans in YT. )

From my pont of view the match depends on Bayonettas ability to dodge and Dantes aim. Basically the challenge is for Bayonetta to kill Dante before taking a direct hit from Dante.

Her bat form dissipates damage, not get rid of. she would still get hurt even if she went batty, then thats not counting what bats Dante shoots (I reference the DMC3 Nevan Battle)

As for reacting whit witch time. That would still be countered by Quick Silver. Now I know what you said. You don't count that as it's not his main weapon. Well my oppinion is that when we compare two characters then we have to compare them at theyre absolute full power. We should not limit they're power for small resunes like he usually don't use an ability. If he has an ability or weapon then it should be counted. So a full power dante for me is what I will write in my next comment. :D
Well I find the third link the most convincing thou she dose that in witch time ( you can hear it's sound effect ).
My bet: Any planet that gets hit will suffer the same fate as being hit with Sephiroth's Supernova. (Except that in this version, the people of Earth would see this coming looooong before Jubileus crashes.)

Can't you see the large amount of whiet hair that is part of Queen Sheba when she is made? Obviously we know who uses white hair as Bayonetta only uses black.
But as you can se in the game you can't hert people in different dimensions whit Bayonetta either so it's a to way invulnerability. Plus you really thing that Dante would wait for Bayonetta to shift betwean dimensions? As soon as she tries to summon upt that circle she would be cut in half.

The invincible I ment as in the game Bayonetta can't harm the humans that are in a different dimension so if she goes in a different dimension then neither of them can harm the other.
Also I didn't ment immort as absolut but basically ment that while Dante can take a bulet to the head and have no damage afterwords Bayonetta is a mortal. She takes one good hit and she's history. That's a big advantage.

It's obviously from Jeanne in my oppinion. We don't really know the range of they're summoning ability. Maybe Jeanne was just outside the barier and could not get in to help out before the summoning of Sheba. It's pointless to argue on this one as we can't use solid evidance to support our oppinion only can say resunes why we think what we think. So moving ontu the next one. :D
I never ignored it, I mentioned it in an earlier post, you just aren't reading my responses to carefully.
this is what to grow up to be
Bayonetta's feats are usually verses smaller angels or are done by her main summon (giant fists/feet) and none of them were more than anything Dante had done without any help. Also you contradicted yourself, you just said that Bayonetta was at her strongest in the end, she doesn't rely have much room for improvement.
