Weird I uploaded this earlier but it said it was aborted for no reason.
Sorry, no Pure Platinum.. this is only my second time so I did not figure out everything about the boss. Plus I got horrible luck in the Wind Phase... stupid disappearing land and no "jump" command sometimes.
And yes.. the finishing blow again... requires you to take control to lure to the goal, if boss hits the planet.. instant game over (just like the "bullet" event on the previous boss). I found that out on my replay on Hard mode just now.
Yes, I beaten Hard Mode in 3hrs30minutes.. after beating it on Normal mode...

Wow, you sound like a kid. Anyway MGR is good but Bayonetta fighting system is vastly superior; much more moves, combos, weapons, overall variety, less camera problems, also game is longer & have much more content. Oh Bayonetta sold better (over 2 millions), have much better reviews & scores.
Its funny that some trolls call Bayonetta "Gay". Aren`t they "too macho" to watch all the game on her dat arse? XD Sounds to me that trolls are haters in the closet XD
Holy Toledo... I can barely keep up with what is going on here. It looks so overwhelming.
The only way I could love Bayonetta more than I already do is if there wasn't Time Travel to complicate things.
Here is something he said during an interview: "However, I did not play DMC1 not even once while developing Bayonetta (I have played about half of DMC4 as part of my research study though). I have deliberately created Bayonetta from scratch and tried to make the game as original as possible, although there will be some similar elements to my previous games in there Im sure, such is my unchanged faith in developing action games
@SilentPhenomed I don't want to criticize you, but you're really slow, 2 weeks was how long it took me to finish DMC3 and I was playing maybe 1 or 2 hours per day. And bayo's hardest mode took me 5 days to complete and I only played 3 hours a day. Kamiya's admitted it that Bayonetta had evolved from Devil May Cry and that the STORY and the SYSTEM were created from scratch to what they are now:awesomeness. Kamiya said it himself that the system cannot be helped if it looks like DMC, same creator
Changing doesn't mean something improves or develops. That's evolving, its changing and improving. Things can change for the worse, like DMC did. Also don't say Bayo is a clone, then say it doesn't have a lot of the core combat mechanics of DMC. It makes you look stupid.
I've done it, sadly, I can't find anything close to your claim. And you've made a very bold claim now you can either put up, or shut up.
That might be your, a few others personal experience. I found pretty much all the DMC on Normal modes to be easy. Even on harder difficulties they were still beatable and I'm a casual player, at best. Bayonetta, however, punished me for screwing up. More than DMC ever did. And I hope you're talking about Pure Platinums to be boasting about how easy it is. The game has some exploits that make it easier. Alot of people use them then complain its too easy.
@SilentPhenomed I've never heard Kamiya admit anything close to it. He can't make a clone of HIS OWN GAME. If anything, just like with DMC, he's evolved Action gaming again. And have seen the reviews for DMC4? Compare them to Bayonetta. Isn't even in the same league. They can take Kamiya's series (DMC) but they can't take his creativity and passion. And don't get me started on what takes more skill. Never ends pretty.
I have also played the game and to be honest, liked it more than DMC series.
The way as it is built up of course has some similarity with DMC, but all in all its better imo.
The introducing of the enemies you're confronting made me crazy, it really has a feeling and makes the game unique.

This boss is a female pumpped up insanely powerful version of the savior statue from Devil may cry 4. Except it's powerful enough to make all the devil may cry, veiwtiful joe, god hand, and even the las tboss from okami seem like nothing in comparison. because you are quite literally fighting god. If Hideki Kamiya ever does a sequal it would have to find some boss that can some how be more powerful than jubileus.
What is harder about DMC combat system to master? The fact that it is all offense until they introduced Styles in DMC3? Only DMC1 had a truly hard DMD. With the others, the DTing enemies you needed more strategy and to have everything maxed. I haven't played DMC4, even most admit that was easy to master, especially as Nero.
well actually, jubileus is at the SAME level as mundus. but well, it can't be approved cuz ur only fighting 50% of jubilee power (don't forget!! while fighting jubileus, she only have the right eye, bayonetta/ her left eye is missing)and u never see jubilee fight in 100% power.
What Balder said, "All the strife...all the struggle..." is how I feel about the Mass Effect 3 ending. All the strife and all the struggle, only to have your decisions you made during all three games mean nothing at the end... Aside from that, BAYONETTA RULES!!!
You'll have to show me a link with Kamiya admitting he's cloned DMC or anything similar similar. Closest you might get is that he's said it plays like it.

God Jubileus was easy.............I didn't know I had Gaze of Despair still equipped but I still managed to destroy that bitch!!
I actually Killed her QUICKER with Gaze of Despair........Talk about a pushover....
@SilentPhenomed, Sure if there was no DMC, Bayonetta might have not been born. But in no cases is this game a DMC clone, sure the system can be similar, but mostly because he played about half of DMC4 while in the dev.
this was one of the most epic boss that I ever see in my life.
Kefka was the best one.
Just got to say though, story? Seriously? Don't bring story into it. DMC was full of cliches and stupid one liners. Bayo is only slightly better cause it doesn't take itself seriously as often as DMC did.
im a little pissed about this game, ya know? all the time and ideas they could have used in devil may cry 5 was used instead on this game. don't get me wrong, it's a solid game, BUT I WANT DMC5
@AarinHikaKao And yet my yuri goggles are still going haywire during that touching scene with Jeanne and Bayonetta. Maybe its just me projecting, but I would say Bayonetta's bi.
You have to buy the alternate weapons in The Gates Of Hell. Once you get them, you have to equip in your arms the normal version and in your legs the alternate version of the same weapon.
This game would be great with a Co-op Mode...
I can imagine Bayonetta and Jeanne kickin' angel's asses XDDD

@Hedgehog3342 Totally! I actually love that "Robot-Holly" thing that angels are here. I know its Holly, but its not boring like the actuals images of the church XD
Bayonetta is the opposite of DMC because bayonetta is a witch that fights against angels ,where as DMC Dante is a devil hunter that fights against Demons.
If there is something I cannot do in this game, it is to find those damn hearts thar prolongs your life:( Help anyone?

Those missiles that Jubileus fires remind me of the ones that appear in the fight against Yami in Okami. Fantastic. Thank you Kamiya!

I agree but the only flaws that I observe is the character size of the game..Bayonetta looks so small during fight scenes
