Man look at the rooster. Everything on that menu sound delicious. oooooo love the eventide adventure, so many neons, Love love love yellow mellow, the afternoons one is so chill
Oh wow that looked beautiful, we where in Florida in October 2017. After Irma hit the keys. The keys where closed until just 3 days before we had to fly home. So we drove to the keys, but it was horrible to see the devastation. We felt like we where intruding on clean up. When we got to Marathon we turned around and went back to Miami. I will never forget the big piles of palm trees, piles of mattress, piles of fridge, boots in trees and the sand from the beaches moved to the golf of Mexico. Oh and I love history and knitting, I would of loved to hear. I now want to visit Fort Jefferson and see the 16 mil bricks.
I went there several years ago. You should go at night. Use a flashlight and see the moat. Absolutely incredible. You used to be able to camp there. I am a birder and saw so many life birds. In spring migration they land there as the first land from south america. They are tired and hang out at the water spring. Beautiful
We did something similar to you but instead of a van, we were on a small 36 ft cruising trawler. Our travels were limited to the east coast ICW but we enjoyed our time in Florida.
On your travels you need to stop at Fiber Heart in Urbana Iowa. They also own the coffee shop that is connected. Several of us knit there on Wednesday nights. Owner have a farm with alpacas that they make yarn from. wonderful place wonderful people and we would love to have you visit. I am really enjoying following your UA-cam channel of your travels.
love Dry Tortugas, great history and fabulous Snorkeling. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Hard to get to that NP. You must have made your reservations months ago. Lucky weather for your trip.
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. As some one with a neurological condition that prevents me from leaving the house for long periods of time, I am grateful to share in adventures vicariously with others. So again, thank you so much. ❤
We went last year in our camper and took ebikes to get around. It really helps in the peak season. We could not do Dry Tortugas due to folks escaping Cuba, maybe next time. The Butterfly house was my favorite, and there is a fabric and yarn shop inbKey West if you go again. I love the Keys! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the pictures and recounting of your trip to Dry Tortugas! I had never heard of it and found it fascinating. I loved the tutorial on the van bed too. It's quite ingenius. Enjoy your day at the yarn shop ❤
Hi Natalie and Kent. Love how well you two work together. Natalie, saw your leg wrap. How's it going with that? Thanks for sharing with us how your bed works, I was curious. Stay safe and well.
Thanks for taking us all along on your adventures! In Dec 2010 when my husband and I went to Key West for a week it was the coldest December in Key West history. Definitely no snorkeling lol😂.
I knew it! I started putting 2 and 2 together when you were talking about an adventure and catching an Uber early. We went on that same adventure in Feb of 2020 before the shutdown occurred. We did the camping excursion. Such a fun memorable experience!
For us the best Key lime pie is in Fort Myers. at Sun Harvest citrus. We enjoy it every time we go to Fort Myers. Been 4 years since the last time and can not wait to go back. Love your vlogmas.
I hope that we will be able to meet tonight at Four Purls. I want to sing their praises so you know how wonderful they really are. They donated hundreds of skeins of yarn to me for my charity knitting. They were and still are a blessing. I'll be there around 4 so I can do Christmas shopping for ME. The Cooma cowl by Laura Dobratz is on my list. Hopefully I'll see you there.
Have you plan in the future buy a bigger Van? I love your vlogmas videos because we also see van life and how everything is possible living in a van. I hope you guys do some vlogs after vlogmas. they are so fun to watch.
I’m so impressed with how well you guys are holding up doing VanLife for months now. Love all the adventures you are going on. Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Merry Christmas 🎄We went to Key West when we were first engaged and my hubbys parents lived in Boynton Beach so we were close for a visit. The Vibe there is fun and relaxed.
QUESTION...(and comment). Hi Natalie - when you make socks w/100% merino wool do you hold the yarn w/nylon or some other stretchy base? Also, my husband and I have a similar van we got one year ago and we love it. Preference for sure (maybe there's something underneath in the way) but you don't have to detach the underside of the table - that you use to frame the base of the bed. It just stays on the bottom side. Hope you're enjoying your travels - it's really fun to watch 🤗
This is my first time using 100% merino for socks, but I didn't hold anything else with it! I'll have to try that with the tables! I don't have it tightened all the way because we've always taken them off, so maybe that will make everything simpler. Thank you!
It’s so interesting that you can’t post videos from a national park. It’s … public property! Or is it because if you posted it, it be part of your business? (Like can a random person post a video on their personal account?)

I bet it's so dark! You can still camp there, but they say the spots fill up 16 months out 😱
I think they used the other islands for the bricks!🤣
What a fun adventure!
Super cool adventure
Fort Jefferson reminds me of El Morro in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
That's awesome. Hubby and I had a trip to Dry Tortugas from our honeymoon in Cuba 19 years ago
So cool!

Kent needs a parks channel
Very nice to see your trip good idea to give the accessibility information btw I love history and wish you had added the history

I'm planning to be there! I won't be there until about 5 :)

All your fort facts were very interesting 😊
Glad you liked them!

Aww thanks! We're having a great time. Key West was beautiful. Very different than other places we've been!
Absolutely beautiful place!!

That looks so fun. I sent a link to my boyfriend because it's something he'd def be into.
Oh! No snorkeling?
You know you’ve been watching a lot of knitty natty when she mentions the fortress was hexagonal shaped and you say “it’s a hexie!”
We were thinking the same thing then 😜
Did you see any of the Hemingway cats while you were in Key West?
We didn't!
Hey Natalie, do you remember the other two flavors of the pies next to all the key lime pies? Just curious
I think it was strawberry and blueberry!
@@KnittyNatty thanks, that's what I was thinking.
They didn't tell story about crocodile?
Not super important, but your hair looks so beautiful after the salt water 😜
Thanks 😅

Chris and Sara did a great video on this!
It's only if you're going to make money off it. You can get permits but it can be pricey.
That makes sense. I was so confused about millions of families’ vacation videos being illegal! 😂
Why can't you film in some national parks?

Oh no! Haha
