I've been trying to figure out how to isolate just the fx wet sound and not hear any of the original dry sound and this is just what I was looking for. clearly explained, well done and thanks!!
looking for the same, did you find a solution?
I just found out that if u unroute the dry signal from master, it works
For years I NEVER understood how all this works so i just left it alone. This was a weatlh of information.
Lmao on me I would just put reverbs on each track and mess with the wet and mix along with reflections and the frequency cut offs. But now that I want to start being more strict on my workflow I'm glad I finally took the time to fully understand this, thanks to this video.
bro after producing for 10 years youve opened my eyes so much with this video alone. Super great advice and its much appreciated. Youve earned a subscriber
It only took me like 8 years to finally understand it
Likewise, but for audio sends and sidechains
Took me 9
You are by far the best when it comes to being clear and cut. I've learned so many little things from your shorts.
Thank you so much honestly never seen anyone that explains everything so clear and straight to the point with vids with only 15 mns long I’m literally watching every single of your vids.! Subscribed💯💣
Bro, I take organization and cleanliness serious, just by the organization of your plugins folders by name and usage I can tell you do also. Your videos are a big refresh for a long time FL user. Thank you.
Thank you sooo much honestly never seen anyone on UA-cam that explains everything so clear and straight to the point with vids with only 15 mns long I’m literally watching every single of your vids.! Subscribed ✅
yeah! 💯
Thanks for sharing this and patiently explaining everything. Using these techniques does require you to be diligent with your mixer layout. Remember
that you can save your mixer state and template in FL Studio.
new sub...i did not understand busses and sends till right now... man thanks for this
I've looked this up so many times and you're the only youtube guy that made it click, thank you!
Great explanation of this. Very clear and concise.
This video changed my life 👍
This video was definitely a zen Kai boost, easy to understand and direct and to the point.
Man I’ve been watching videos on buses all day and you finally made it easy for me to understand. Thank you sm
well, after checking all other videos I came back to first one and actually I found this one best guide, thanksies !
This is the tutorial I will recommend to anyone asking about busing & sending in FL Studio.
The way you explain this is perfect!
This was great and straight to the point. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I've been working with one version of Sonar/Cakewalk for almost two decades but I'm really liking what I'm seeing in FL Studio. Showing the wires connecting mixer channels is very cool and easy to follow.
This has to be one of the most useful well explained videos I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen SOOOOOO MANY. Well done man . Thank you .
Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this proberly. I love step by step tutorials where the teacher shows all the different facets of a thing. Just subbed!
Finally someone who actually explained how this works in a proper and easy way of understanding ! My question tho is if im doing just vocals and i want to hear the effects and my reverb while im recording do i put those tracks on external input only and not arm to record and have the effects button pressed or do i put it on post effects have the input on but not armed to record ? Thats the one thing thats stomping me
insanely clear and concise tutorial, thank you
Great! Thanks! You are one of the best on the game to make serious content about FL Studio, really technical and easy to understand, that’s my opinion. Keep making! 👍
14 minutes of pure gold
Hats Off Jerry... Thanks for the valuable information... The way you explained is very simple... Anybody can understand...
Thank you!
Jerry nice video bro, i couldn´t look for any video in FL that explains this so clean. Greetings from Argentina
bro a good teacher, well done & thanks
Great stuff man! I haven’t used FL since it was called Fruity Loops and it’s definitely changed a lot! I’m excited to dig in and thankful I found your channel.
Well explained the differences.. picture clear to me.
this video deadass changed everything for me
Simply explained and to the point. Thank you.
Thanks !!!
Very Clear, to the point & Helpful
You did a Great Jiob
Getting schooled on busses.
Ikr
🥁
Remember when you only took busses to school , how the tables have turned
Ask Jason Bateman 😂
I see what you did there
I watched so many damn vids on this topic and you did it the absolute best man! thanks for the help!
A lot of content providers have the knowledge but don't know how to explain things clearly. Also, they don't know how to edit their vids properly. Or another thing... they zoom around too quickly with the mouse for you to see what they're doing.
I have been watching many videos about routing and busses but this is by far the best one - simple and comprehensive enough. Thanks man.
I would love to see a video about exporting stems. I’m confused because when I export stems it also exports all the bus and send channels and I’m not sure should I keep just the bus and send channels and delete the original ones or what. What to keep and what is the simplest way to export stems and is there something to consider before exporting 🙏 Cheers!
It totally reminds of Reaper. It's like a channel is a channel. You make it what you need it to be
bro this is so good. very well explained bless
very informative and easy to follow along
You explained this so well! Thanks a lot; it was really helpful!
good stuff..yhanks for passing' on the knowledge...I had to come back to this video.. after forgetting...2 thumbs up!
Needed this refresher! My brain went blank for a minute on how to use the sends
Crystal clear. Thankyou 🤝🏻
I've come to thank you for the lesson.
Thank you Thank you Thank you, I watched it twice and learned a lot. God bless.😂
Good numbers for this video... and it's only 3 months old... I'm impressed.
Bro, You Just Leveled Me Up
In case anyone doesn't know. Ctrl + L automatically routes whatever you have selected to the mixer, and keeps the same name. You can have everything in the channel rack selected as well and do Ctrl + L and it will route them all. I didn't know this for way too long
Exactly when I needed 🔥thanks jerry, was really confused about it
Glad it helped you out! 🙏🏼
Great video well done... Straight to the point! Realtime application! A B lesson
YOU'RE VERY GOOD AT THAT!!
Super helpful. Thank you.
This is Gold - Thank you!
A good teacher & well explained

Great explanation :) Thanks
wait a minute, im not new at mix and mastering but routing the reverb chanel back to the Drum Bus? for what reason? isnt the same as living it routed to the Master?
This video was simply amazing, do you do courses?
Great video
Can you do a video on gain staging? Or on how loud two track beats should be with vocals??
I LOVE YOU FOR THIS
Hey Jerry, I love your videos and learn a lot from them. I just wanted to ask if you could please make a video on how to mix prominent and audible doubles because whenever I mix doubles, it doesn't sound good. Please consider making a video about this. Thanks!
This might help.

Thank You!!!
super helpful. Thanks!
Nice video ❤
Cool vid. But how do you use a reverb bus if the FX vst doesn't have a dry gain to turn off, such as Supermassive?
Gold 🙏🏾
Thanks
Excellent explanation !
Appreciate the feedback 🔥
Never used a send only used busses. This is so clutch
Maaan, thank you so much!!!
all videos helpfull sir thanku sirr
What does returning the reverb signal to the drum bus do? And would I want to utilize this process?
Great info!
7:19 Send Tracks: for reverb, delays and other fx.
So if you have 5 drums that are going to the aux reverb track, and you want to control each of the five drums individual send , the you need to create 5 track with sends , one send for each drum? That would be a total if 11 tracks 5 drum track 1 aux reverb track and 5 send tracks?
Thanks so much
Thank you.
When I want to send an instrument to a SEND reverb the sound I get double the sound when I hit “route to track only” or if I click my left mouse.. but when I hit “side chain to this track I can control the fx (reverb) normally with no double of the sound.. that’s how I’m suppose to do it?
