    The best prehab exercise for pull-ups and front lever?!
    The scapula pull is an advanced scapula stabilization exercise that many people don’t know or struggle with.
    Since this is an advanced exercise, it’s completely fine if you can’t do it right away.
    However the proper basics are required indeed! Watch the video to find out more!

    I saw this exercise in Domink Sky's first but this Channel did a complete Breakdown of the movement! 👍 I implemented the exercise in my program at the beginning of my FL journey. I think I must try it again in order to improve my scalpular Retraction

    I´m doing this type of exercises for almost two years and I am able to hold front lever for few seconds. I really recomend this if you want to do front lever :D

    Great! I'm getting back into swimming and want front level so core strong and pulling arm down alot stronger. I could do it last year when got to 5 reps 100kgback squat when doing a bunch of other random, stuff. Just found could already do it by accident. Was doing lots of hanging leg raises. Want it again and those progressions look perfect.

    Would you say this is basically a less difficult version of a front lever raise? I'm working on them right now and can only do them with a resistance band around my feet, but I'm slowly progressing and wondering if this would help?

    I don't understand when you say to external rotate the shoulder. Is this the same movement that you suggest when you explain the pull ups (when you finish the pull up and you come back to the starting position of hanging)?

    Please,Make a video how to pull up on rings.

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  Рік тому

      It’s pretty much as on the bar that you can find on the channel, you can just optionally turn the rings out transitioning to a chinup

  • @TheHabibOfMankind
    @TheHabibOfMankind Рік тому +1

    Is doing one arm scapular work worthwhile? Or should I just focus of pulling higher and higher like this video shows?

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  Рік тому +4

      Depends on what your goal is. One arm scapula work is great for one arm pullups/chinups

  • @murnikovas7899
    @murnikovas7899 Рік тому

    One thing at The begining with that first exercise its better to do on rings or on trx because youre gonna balance your scalp muscles whats also very important geting stronger upper back

    • @GymnasticsMethod
      @GymnasticsMethod  Рік тому +1

      If someone has the opportunity to train with rings it certainly gives a free range that the bar doesn’t!

    • @murnikovas7899

    • @GymnasticsMethod

      If you have bulging you should consult with your physician before you start doing calisthenics workouts. In case of pain + known problem you have, do the same, ask your physician
