Hear me out you only want to trade in very good TT tanks so its easy to regrind and fun mean while you get get to use your already trained crew for that line
I can think of cs63 and ebr/manti on top of my head, those are meta tanks with a lot of bad tanks before you get to tier 10, so it's worth trading for them just to spare you the pain of grinding those lines.
Mhm, why do i have to pay such an amount of Gold etc. for trade a grinded line to an ungrinded line? I didn‘t got the grinded line for free. This is terrible.
as another commenter already posted you can trade in a line that you really enjoy for a line in which you only want the T9 or 10. For example in my opinion the E100 line was overall pretty good and fun to play. I can now cash in that line to get the STB line in which the STB is the only decent tank in my opinion (like hell, Tier 8 and 9 are so fkn terrible and Chi-Ri is a meme tank)
since this is a one time it should be straight up 1 - 1 exchange and none of this "give us more" WG needs to overhaul the XP for tech tree tanks and make it more streamlined.
20:50 WZ-111 5A as actually better then obj 277. Similar speed, better hull armor, better gun depression, 1 whole second faster reload for the same alpha and the gun behaves so much better. The 5A is actually one of the lines to get in the trade in because the tanks before it are trash and you don't want to play them
And super prone to module damage and fire. Armor layout's bad, shell velocity's bad. There's a reason why 5A hasn't seen that many games in pubs or CWs, on paper it's a better tank, but in practice it's underwhelming.
The line before is decent, 110 is the only ? and it works fine once you get over the drop in alpha. I love the WZ 111 1 4. And the 277 is way better hull down than 5a.

I have both 277 and 5a and since I started to play 5a I haven't touched the 277 and I hate it. No gun depression, no dpm, gun is terrible, the hull armor doesn't work it's just like a paper. Meanwhile 5a has better armor layout with not so obvious weak spots, it can manage to bounce a lot unlike 277, has more gun depression and much better dpm. It's just better. And module DMG? Don't try to be funny yes it's prone to module damage... As well as 277. Furthermore 277 have weak spot on the hull right where the ammo is.
Hello, Mr.Dez, good ideea would be (talking to most ppl now) just exchange something that has other modules that corespond to another so u can either unlock faster or fun line that u can re-grind and actually get even better stats or even moe finish. Like hear me out, i don t have shitbarn but it unlocks badger line guns engines n stuff, i would trade an arta lt or smth that i don t play for fv and auto unlock badger after as pretty much everything is unlocked by that line😅
Just checked live trade in prices, wanted to trade FV4005 for minotaur (4005 line fully unlocked) and it costs 16k gold to trade. To use free experience you only get 1% off for every 3,340 free xp, Bonds is 1% off for every 334 bonds. and you can only use up to 33k free xp. So they want you to use bonds and gold. This is the biggest Sham Ive seen WG do in a good minute.

Does the trade unlock an entire tank line INCLUDING MODULES, or just the tanks? Those module grinds(Engines, guns, turrets, tracks) are a total freeXP or mental health sinks lol, so.... if it's just the tank line without the modules included then it's not a good deal.
WG: introduce Tech Tree Trade Me: I have to unlock only two components (tracks) with universal XP (to not rebuy T54E1 and buy T95) for few battles. After that I would unlock every single regular tank to elite status.
Hi Dez, i belive its only whort it to get really bad tech trees like k91 that sucks to play so u can change it for an easy branch to play, like the american heavys. That way u can get a good tier X tank and replay a branch u can enjoy.
Wasn't the price starting at 14,2k gold and switched over to 9,8k when they didn't have all tanks available? I wonder what this will bring in the game, you start out with a "noob" crew that needs to get all the perks again. They should have taken the perks of the crew to the new crew also, seeing they want that much gold from the player.

E50 line is good all the way in my opinion. E5 usa heavy line is very nice now. I think i will throw type 5 heavy under the buss and swap it for e3 td line. Kran is way better with the crew skills.

Hello man, I used to be like you a few months ago, I thought having FV and being able to one shot other t10 tanks would be crazy so I farmed the whole line and really regretted it. The vehicle is EXTREMELY bad, the camo is awful, its slow, has no armour, and hard to hut shots + very frustrating and when you get spotted you re already dead. I'll exchange t if I can fot S.Conq or 60TP that are probably the best tanks in the game, or maybe a Strv for sniping
I went and got the FV4005 and well, gonna trade it in for the AMX M4 54 due to how painful that line seems (and how painful i personally think it is) M4 51/54 both seem like enjoyable tanks too so looks like a win, 60TP line seems good so gonna personally grind that, for my current tier 10's its Super Conq, Cent AX, Badger (and of course the fv4005)
This is one of the worst ideas from wargaming. All u are ever going to see is people grinding the same good tech tree lines to finish the rest of the bad lines. Going to kill tank variance. Not to mention this does nothing for players with every tank researched. If wargaming was smart they would add a new campaign mission line like the obj 260 style missions. Give the longer time players something to do and helps newer players as well.

I was thinking about trading in the sconq for cent AX. The SConq line was really enjoyable to play and could finish the marks on the entire line if i had to regrind it again. From grinding the Cent AX on console i know i hate the TT from cent onwards. Only want the Cent AX as it seems strong now.

K91 line got mega buffed recently, they’re all really competitive if you’re an experienced player.

Trade in the USA Patton line since I still have the free tier 9 Patton and finally get the Russian arty to finish missions.

Ok m103 isn't that amazing as the other tanks in the line but it's playable. The techtree exchange program is to get a good tier 10 tank which have very bad tank in the line. Like manticore. Or wz-111 5a.
I would give my T110E5 line away for manticore and would gladly grind the m6, T29, t32, m103 and t110e5 again from scratch because the line is amazing. I dont want to trade my wz-111 5a for e5 and then grind the is-2, 110 and 111 1-4 again because these are horrible tanks. As well as lhmtv, gsor, setter. Those are the tanks you want skip
