700+ damage capable tds used to be weak in some way or another, now we have the firepower of an ISU in the chassis of a super heavy tank. Basically an E4 at tier 8
So YOU buy the tanks rationalizing their decision to make then include them, then complain about them after you just told them "Good job" by opening your wallet for said cried about tanks. Anyone care to wager a guess who are the real ones at fault here? It's not WG. This is like complaining about Gas prices when pumping the gas, all the while using the car to drive 3 blocks to the store when you could walk and save said money.
XM57 is so frustrating to play against. It's like a T28 but without any balancing weaknesses. Nerfing the gun arc would be a good start to balancing it in my opinion.
FRRR. I Just got the t28 cuz the tier 9 after it was good. But I've given up trying to get it. The armor of the t28 can be penned with standard rounds by the XM . the lack of gun depression, low alpha . Ughh
I was gone for a year and a half and I came back for Christmas like every year, didn't recognise half the tanks but kept getting slapped for 800 damage whenever I peeked out of cover. So I played about 3 games per day to get my goodies and then quit again for another year (at least)

I love my Contra, I just learned to hold down the fire button as im switched modes and insta fire right after switching, with this I broke my dmg record and xp records!
Quantity doesn't mean quality. When "59 new tanks" is the only thing WG can say about entire year of game 'development', you know that there were no improvements made. With current trend of "more and more new tanks each year is the only content our players want", we will soon have Red Alert tech tree with Prism tanks and tier 15 premium Mammoth tank for only 999.99.

UDES 03 3 is my favorite high tier new tank, the BT-42 Jatk. for lower tiers. Set up UDES like a light tank and I'm still above 60% WR at over 100 battles played (vs. 51% overall WR). BT-42 is like a sneaky, little gremlin KV-2. EDIT: Forgot Vickers 3. Haven't gotten through the Leopard line, but the Vickers made me want to prioritize it.
I quit as soon as I saw TMNT, but came back for warm up during Holiday Ops. It really sucks that I missed out on so many free tanks. I wonder how many others feel my pain?
there would be less completely op tanks if this game just used real life tanks and prototypes. not fake, theoretical and napkin designs that are impractical and absurd (like yeah lets use a 160mm howitzer instead of a existing 100mm with superior ammunition. only works in WoT knife fighting scenarios) nevermind how said tank(s) would snap in half if built, and be annihilated by ATGM's and 90mm HEAT-FS because pure RHA is outdated since ww2.
yeah i really wish WoT would use more historical tanks, though i will say, i believe the XM series (XM66F and XM57) were ""real"", they were blueprint vehicles of the T28/T95 tank i think, but yeah its kinda rough
@@xvphoenixvii5146 from what i could find, xm66d refers to the turret which was a precursor to the m60a2 and developed from t95e8. i can't find anything about xm66f, which would make sense because why would you make a completely different worse tank, when m60e1 is about to be approved. everything about xm57 leads to world of tanks and no history besides 1 sketch. which can be faked like the ho-ri wooden mockup (also it wasn't intended to have sloping armor) and ishi-108 (traced over a drawing of the Independent). this confuckling is such a huge problem, its how everyone believes M60-2000 and M60-120S are the same thing,. all because of one unreliable source (Global Security) and later reinforced because of armored warfare and Wikipedia citing the same source.
IMO, if you want to figue out if a tank is toxic, very simple. Take 3 tech tree tanks 2 tiers lower, and if they cant fight and win the tank in question, you know.| And with how much tier 7 8 9 and 10 tanks have crept over the last years, many OG tech tree tier 8, 7 and pretty much all tier 6 absolutely sucks to play against tiers above

I don't know what I did but I got the GSOR tank and I'm pleasantly surprised. I like it beccause mediums are my cup of tea. Usually free tanks are not great but this one is nice.
Squall is growing on me even if its not the best tank in the world. If anyone doesent understand how massive squall is, it is same size as progetto 46.

The copy paste tanks should have their base tank in the name. I came back to the game and took me a while to learn wtf is a miel or a nomad or a lion or the other one the copy paste of the progetto.
I don't have problems to play against XM. Slow, lower late is pennable and the stupid structure it has always stick out one way or another and it's easy to pen. Sfuck the DZT though, finding a hard hitting t9 med with way too much armor in your face where a light should be...
It always makes me laugh those, especially Unicorns, who think tanks are OP.... Most of what they claim are "OP" end up NOT being so. Defender.... NOT OP.... LT-432.... NOT OP.... ELC Even 90..... NOT OP (came a little challenging, but brings something unique). EBR's.... NOT OP (speed a little challenging, but brings something unique). The last tanks that were ACTUALLY "OP" that we normal people could get in the game, was the WAFFLE.... and then a few tanks WERE a little too strong, but rather than a minor tweaking, they entirely RUIN the tanks, full massive **** NERF to make them entirely UNPLAYABLE now. T57 Heavy, FV304, KV-1S, Hellcat, T37, and Bulldog, what else am I forgetting? THAT's IT. Oh, honorable mention.... T49 & Sheridan Derps.... While they weren't "directly" nerfed, the Physics and Round placement Nerfs made the tanks worse, and then the two HE Nerfs especially the last really **** those tanks, the constant bouncing and low damage. But these tanks were NEVER actually "op" not even close. Yet Wargaming NERFED them anyway. Oh, the BZ 176 is of course OP, don't know why they didn't give it a 500 damage gun at most. But, frankly, people should complain MORE about all the absolute TRASH of the game, NOT that some tanks are actually playable, or decent, or good. Also, Vickers 3 is EXACTLY how a tank should be Balanced.... A good tank, but not OP. Wargaming is so BAD at shafting us, that I've sold like 95% of the tanks I've bought or got.
Most were unimpressed, especially since the K was included in loot boxes. That said, not many really cared about the tank because it had long since passed its heyday in the meta.
More than 1 tank per week... Let's say 2/3 are premium. Most of them in lootboxes. WG wants our money. XM and DZT are frustrating, XM is invulnerable hull down in a corridor and that alpha - 600-1000 damage per shot... DZT reaches all important positions at first - before all other tier 9 mediums. It also sucks to have a czech light in your team vs. ELC, Manti etc on an open map... you instantly know you lost. All other lights anyway suck on tier 8 - M41 variants, HWK, WZ... forget it. Even a Bourrasque has better chance than these. On the positive side, WG gave quite a number of free tanks (gift, battle pass, marathon). I miss more maps and more balance still.

Pretty easy to pen to be honest. The damage is just annoying. But armor wise, for sure not as strong as you think
