You get something if you play the demo and your save data in demo transfers over to the main title.

I understand wanting to wait. I think what the point was your save file carries over. And if you do have Remake save file you get Leviathan early. (It could be Remake or the expansion with Yuffie.... not sure... but one of those does get you Leviathan early. Make sense it would be the Yuffie DLC.... but hey... it's something... and free)
@@ZackeryGee remake gets you either Ramuh or Laviathan, and Intergrade (aka episode Yuffie) the other. Once the demo is complete, players are supposed to get a charm that carries over to the main game when you transfer your save file. We have yet to get the Junon segment yet. Right now we get the Nibelheim flashback. (And holy CRAP was it amazing!!!)

@@clarityreunited I actually found him a bit more light towards the start. However, when he went insane was always how it was. They just lacked the graphics and technology of the game consoles to show us just how batcrap crazy he really was.

Just finished the Demo now... the Sephiroth flashback part that only is available. Looking forward to the next update for it. This game is already at least RPG of the year. If not Game of the Year...
Anyway, Final Fantasy VII remake was already amazing but Rebirth takes it 10 times more amazing... which makes me wonder how amazing will the final installment be? Lol triple techs will be in the last game I bet.
Playing this game is a good reason to own a Playstation 5 today. Good thing I have one!!
I belong to the PC master race, but I don't think anyone can really argue these days against the fact that the PS5 blew Xbox out of the water in terms of sales and games.
Biggest issue with the demo was battle control. Feels sloppy compared to part1. Didnt like the fact synergy skills were mapped to the same button as guard as i like to snap between evade and block. Now i have to release block to evade and even to open up the command menu leaving me wide open to attack. I really hope they have an option to change this because this really kills the battle system for me.
I don't think its fully optimized yet. I've noticed some of the shading and model movements need adjusting, too.

Cloud is so cute
lol are you okay? Cloud is the most annoying and pathetic Final Fantasy Hero in the Series. What made the game great was the story, the setting, the world. Cloud himself is a whiny little a** who sits in a wheelchair half of the game or has to walk around in memories trying to understand that he wasnt a first class soldier at all.

Ff12 wasn't that great, FF16 was.... wow, no. FF7 and Cloud Strife are legendary. That is fact. If you have trouble accepting that fact, well then.... I see a seat open at the delusional table, right next to the Flat Earthers.

Later it continues with let me guys tell you about the story how I was the great soldier with Sephiroth , while Tifa sits next to him being like wtf are you talking about, you were never there you posing garbage bin!
Then we continue with cloud in nibelheim being lost in his memory about his mummy who bothers him with finding a girlfriend, and finding out that hes just full of crap.
Then he falls into a Mako Reactor and plays wheelchair andy while Tifa has to shove him around like hes the most useless creature in the game
his redemption arc in the end is not enough to save that pathetic character.
A very similar character to that was Squall in FF8. Basically a Cloud Copycat, half of the game people just try to figure out why hes a psychopath.

Do you think he'd be a better character if he has no flaws and was perfect? There's a name for that. It's called a Gary Stew. (Mary Sue for girl characters). But sure, let me enlighten your dimly lit cranium and hope to find someone who's actually home.
Have you ever suffered loss? Have you even been in war? A prisoner? Experimented on, and left as a vegetable? If "no" ever crossed your mind then congratulations. You're not Cloud Strife. You've downplayed everything he went through without humoring ANY hint of empathy. And that is very shallow and disrespectful to not only the game itself, but to those who actually have gone though such hells as war and loosing those they care for.
Cloud wanted to make a name for himself after getting shunned by his hometown. He failed to become SOLDIER, and then he gets betrayed by his hero as the man he looked up to murdered his entire town. Severely hurting Tifa and killing his mother. He beats him, only to end up as a lab rat for a mad man! 4 years later, his best friend breaks them out, only for him to be nothing more than a rag doll for around a year. And then, he wakes up just in time to see his best friend die.
The mako sickness, combined with his loss, and the fact that he never got to properly mourn those he loved and lost forced his mind to break, and in a last ditch effort to protect itself, he subconsciously created a false persona as a shield in order to survive. That is called Trauma. It happened again throughout the game as he made friends and unmeaningly allowed his lies to betray their trust to some degree, because he was messed up in the head.
Aerith tried to help him.... and she died. He wanted to mourn for her, but couldn't because the group had to stop Sephiroth. It wasn't until after he was cured of Geostigma that he finally began to heal and let himself be who he truly should be. Someone we got a tiny glimpse of in Dirge of Cerberus. It was short, and shown in a game that was badly handled, but there you go.
If you still think, after all of that, that Cloud isn't anything but an amazing fighter who fought his depression and struggles and won to become an amazing hero, then you have only proven that you don't understand trauma.
And if that's the case, then I'm honestly glad you never have and hope that you never will have to deal with that. But don't think that means you can say those things about him, without proper reasoning.
Cloud Strife is a very human character. He is very realistic, down to earth and someone many can relate to. Including those struggling with depression. He struggles and perseveres and that gives people hope.

I really didn't expect everybody to be crawling about how good this is, I'm about 10 minutes in and I don't want to continue. I feel like they totally bait and switched us with the first game, and when I came out and said that when it first came out everybody yelled at me and told me I was crazy, I had people telling me how stupid I was, I still have those comments. They were extremely hurtful just based on me going, wow! I really didn't like the game. I don't know how to feel about this... That's all I said and I was jumped on and then months later when people really gave thoughtful in depth reviews. They said how much they liked parts one and two and felt that the third act basically shit itself to death, and 3rd act has become infamously famously bad and universally disliked... And I just feel like, are we really going to Go out and buy part two on mass and pretend that it's great for 6 months and shred everybody who goes. Oh wow that's kind of ass... Until the big reviewers finally weigh in and say, oh yeah, this part was really really really bad? The combat is so terrible, I never replayed remake, but I remember that I didn't have any strong feelings towards the combat, positive or negative. Negative it just kind of was? So I feel like the combat is definitely having an issue in this part if I'm instantly going. Oh no no I hate it. -_- I don't know. I guess I should just shut my mouth till 6 months from now when everybody shares how they really feel.

*Mild spoilers* Was anyone else calling actual Cloud "Ramirez" during the demo? Also, if this was your first FFVII game ever (small percentage, given), I think you'd get the wrong impression of who Cloud is. That's the most line by line Zack they could have possibly made it.

When FF7 Remake came out, it was originally on the PS4. That was it's launch system and the system most people bought and enjoyed the game on. Then when the released the Yuffie DLC, they did it at the same time as the PS5 version - and didn't release the DLC on the PS4 at all. So everyone who originally bought in and supported them didn't get to see the full story.
So screw them. I will wait for it to be on PC. By then it will most likely be complete.

1. I'm a gamer. I don't stick to a specific type of gaming system. I have a PS4, a Switch, several Gameboy handhelds (Advance, SP, Color, 3DS), a PS2 that has been working beautifully since I got it back in 2003, and a wonderful gaming PC. I don't like Xbox because I don't like how the controller feels in my hand. That bulky one was horrible! And now it's not getting my business because they're aiming to stop making physical games? No. That's the deal breaker. PC gaming is one thing, but if I can't hold an actual console game in my hands then I won't buy it.
2. I don't own a PS5. My roommate does, and we're sharing it until I can get my own. Because there's this really mean fact of life called paying bills. Can't really play a video game if there's no electricity to power the console. lol.
3. I don't buy a console for one game unless I expect to add to my library over time. I did that with the PS4 back in 2015. I got it... oddly for remake (as it had just recently been announced at the time) and ended up getting so many different games, including the Batman Arkham games, God of War, Witcher 3, FF15, the Kingdom Hearts collection, Spiderman, Devil May Cry, etc.
4. I never really liked FF14. Gave it a try and when it wouldn't let my friend and I join the same teams when co-op was needed then we both walked away from it. Since I got it as a game we could play together. And I wasn't going to keep dishing out $15 a month to something my friend and I couldn't enjoy.
The FACT i have to get PS5 just to play this 🙄😒 uugh

the guy who cut that "trailer" should be fired. sorry but its NOT fun or entertaining in ANY way to not see anything, get some epilepsy inducing screen flashes that change every milisecond and have to analyze the video by pausing frame by frame. stop doing that horsecrap, make proper trailers, show us what you want us to see, its OK if the trailer shoes less different scenes if its only supposed to be 30 seconds long.

Rebirth world looks like a 10, unfortunately the combat is a 5 and the new story is like a 7. Aerith is nothing like the original.
