Yes, that list is definitely doable and they have no counter synergy whatsoever. @@Johnnymarzo Quite the fun list. I’m just now starting to delve into my competitive journey thanks to this channel and the coaching I’m finding to be very helpful. Vanguard veterans can make use of Relic Teleportarium to deep strike 3" You pay a 25pt tax but then you can make use of the detachment rule and stratagems over JPI. They make for good skirmishers. I like a brick of Thunderhammer wielding terminators for a 1st turn 3 inch deep strike. Sure they can't do anything that turn. But dropping 40+ wounds into the enemy deployment zone goes hard. Then with the Ancient and captain you can have Singular Will so they stand a good chance of getting into engagement range of multiple units. With the stratagem you can likely fish for devastating wounds for the Thunderhammers.
Both combos pretty good - I’m worried of AVC’s having a massive Ap1 problem, even with +1 to wound they’d struggle into anything decent. And it’s still like an almost a 300pts unit. Regarding terminator in DZ - yep, it’s a very solid argument 😂😂😂
Question. Why would you recommend the Termie Chaplain when Inner Circle already grants +1 to wound on objectives? I'm assuming you'd drop them on an objective with Deathwing Assault. I was going with a Termi Librarian to get Sustained hits before

Hey, I'm quite new to the more competative side of 40k. I'm curious and wonder why you always use Jump Intercessors, could you not run Outriders also or instead? You lose some melee but gain more ranged shots, similar OC etc. So why is Jump Packs so often rated much higher than Outriders?
Firstly - welcome to the hobby💪 Now to answer your question - they are actually pretty different in more ways than you can imagine, to name a few: 1) JPI have smaller footprint - easier to hide. 2) JPI can go through walls. 3) JPI can do MWs on the charge, and with Grenade you can throw plus power fist on sergeant they can punch up for 80pts, Outriders can’t, they are anemic in combat.
