Cool feature, in my experience it's the back door style handles that this Megane has (and my Zoe) that confuse my passengers trying to get in haha

I never use my key EVER. I just put it in a safe pocket and leave it there, then let the handle open automatically/ If i feel the area or someone is acting shifty near me, i use the key and lock the doors when i get in! I think they are on auto lock if i remember.

Surprised that you didn't know that it unlocks when you walk towards it and locks when you walk away - as long as you have the keys of course - don't think that it knows you personally.

Can you unlock the driver's door only, so that the door handle doesn't pop out on the passenger side (to prevent anyone else getting in)?

Let's assume not because that's VERY niche and I don't quite understand why you need that? Any other car with a handle can be opened on both sides when unlocked...

@@GeorgeThoughts my wife feels vulnerable when she’s travelling on her own, and when she unlocks the car, to get into the drivers side, she doesn’t want the passenger door unlocking at the same time (only the driver’s door). Audi and BMW give this option in the settings.
