- In this week´s video I go to one of the very few bluebell woods in Germany to give you some ideas for Spring woodland photography.
I´ll talk about some of the ways that I approach woodland photography. Looking for compositions that make the most of forest photography at this time of the year.

Really nice video as always 👍🏼
Thank you so much
Nice video Mark! I like your close up shots a lot.
Thank you Wim
Hi Mark! Great video! Did you disappeared from instagram??
Hi, good to see you on UA-cam. Yes, I deleted my Instagram account, I got really demotivated with it. You'll see on my UA-cam channel a video on why I quit.
I am a little disappointed, to be honest. i expected some splendid black and white shots of those bluebells. That would be new and challenging. Bluebells in color is not exactly new hat. But who am I to criticize? When a sizable patch of those things showed up on a meadow near where I live, I forgot to shoot in black an white myself!
Personally I don't think black and white would work, there's not enough contrast between the bluebells, trees and woodland floor, especially with the overcast conditions I had. Sometimes it's nice just to document the season. Or perhaps I just missed seeing bluebells in woodland from my time living in the UK.
@@markhampshirephotography Next time i write something about bluebells or some other bells of color and BW photography, please be advised it is just an attempt to be funny :)
I wasn't sure to be honest, my first reaction was that you were joking. But I thought it may seem rude of me to assume that ;)
