I Have been on a Journey, for 17 Years, to Finish my GED. I've been in complications and Mentally absent, Now I am Touching up With my 4 Subjects to finally Finish this GED and I am Pleased with my self, (not in a vain way.) I have watched alot of youre videos, and taken notes of them then i took my GED Math ready practice test a couple days ago, and i got to say youre very underrated everything you showed in youre videos is exactly what i saw on the Ready practice test which very likely i will see on the real test there were some questions on the ready test that curve balled me sadly because i couldnt understand how to answer them but you helped me tremendously thank you. :)
Also, i have a question on finding a width of a shape on the ready practice test i got a question that said "The cereal box has a height of 12 inches. What is the width of the cereal box" or something like that it was a fill in the blank question. I looked up to find the width of a shape is to multiply the height/length of the shape, and then subtract with the perimeter(i could be wrong), but it didn't tell me the perimeter just the height how do i find the width of a shape if it just tells me the height?
Hey again its me! I passed all the test. And now I have my GED finally it was such a long journey for me, took me 8 years to get a GED and during this 8 years I collapsed and got up and collapsed again and tried to get up and going back and forth it was such a rough times for me but here I am 1 step out now have my GED. I have been searching around asking people around to help my ged study, yet have find no answers not single one made me understand, im the type of person its really hard to understand things unless someone break down in every details or explain in simple way to understand yet all your video was incredibly helpful and amazingly useful its been helping me so much more than any other videos. Your video is very easy to understand. Im not sure how much more way to describe how much your videos helped me. Thank you just thank you so much.

How many questions can you use a calculator to solve?

I got a 170 on the GED math practice test, but choked on the actual test and got a 142.
I'm retaking the test on December 1, hope I don't blow it again so I can start HVAC training at the beginning of the year when it starts so I don't have to wait.

Hello I have passed my 3 test from watching your video and I have math left now! :) quick question! in this video, in the question of 1:14, you said when you replace a letter to number use parentheses but in the video of “FULL length GED Math Practice Test” on 12:12 you doesn’t use parentheses? So Im little confused.. please help thank you
Congrats on your tests so far! 🙌🏼 You bring up a great point. It's mostly an issue when plugging in a negative number, so I didn't use parentheses in 12:12 of the full length video, but definitely could have! If it doubt, it's always good to use parentheses, but I was just saving time for that one. Hope that helps. All the best on math!
Hello, I have been watching and studying all of your videos. I test Saturday. I've been out of school for 26 yrs. I've passed everything else first try but MATH is my worst subject. Please wish me luck!
Keep working hard and you got this!! Try to find all the easier ones (or ones that look more familiar) and do those first when taking the test. Then you can go back to do the harder ones afterwards. All the best on Saturday! 🙌🏼 🙏🏼

Yes! There’s a digital version on screen when you take it online!
in the minute 6:48 for what i understand the mode is 61 not 29 or is because you have a number repeating 2 times?
Like you said, because 29 repeats 2 times, that occurs the "most often" making it the mode 👍🏼
It is possible to have "no mode" if no number repeats.
Or if you had this set: 2 3 4 3 2 1
then 2 and 3 would both be the mode, since they both occur the most often.

Hey my table function isn’t working properly. Idk what’s wrong but when i enter it y=5x-10 it only shows me values of 5/4 under the x value and -15/4 under the y value. How can i get it to show the entire table?

For the quadratic question @ 9:08 I used the quadratic formula & plugged in the values below
A=1
B=-2
C=-15
Once ive done this I got 5 and I got stuck realizing that I still needed another point. It clicked later that I had to go back into the formula and change the plus sign into the minus sign to get my other point.
Is the way I did this still a good method to solve it? I need to just remember to change the sign into minus to get my 2nd point.

The equation that you showed as an example at 9:09 timestamp. I ended up getting the same answer as you I just did it using the ged quadratic formula but then it only gave me one point as the answer so I was confused on how to get the other point until I remembered that I had to go back & change the addition sign into subtraction sign in the formula to get the other point -3

The first 4 would be in the no calculator section, but yes on all the rest after that!
Hi, can you explain question number 3, I try to do myself, on a peace of paper, but for some reason I always get 5/10 on the slope. Tank you.
You're doing it correctly! 5/10 simplified is 1/2, so that's the right slope 👍🏼

I am struggling with foil and slopes as well. Your videos are the only ones i watch. They are the easiest to understand.
I did have my test scheduled 2 weeks before but i paid for the practice test on the GED website and didn't do so good so i decided to reschedule and give myself 2 more weeks to study. This will be my 5th time trying to pass math. I passed everything else...its just math that is so hard for me to understand. Before watching your videos my math test i scored a 128 then 138 then 138 again. I found your videos and watched it non stop for 2 days prior to my 4th time taking the test and i got a 143. I was not nervous my 4th time because i felt confident using the calculator and
Knew i did better then all the other 3 tries. I am now only focusing on your videos before my 5th try because i need this to be the last time. I am in my 40's so its been hard for me.

I keep getting syntax errors on my calculator. I already tried to reset it but still getting the same error prompt over and over. Arrrrrgh.

The two is a square of course
Wy do i get 500 instead of 45
