- Bryar Motorsports Park is notable in that it was demolished to build New Hampshire Motor Speedway on top of it. This was the into from USA's coverage of a NASCAR North race held there in on August 18, 1985. Ken Squier and Dave Moody are the announcers.
Pit reporter that day was former racer, Richie Panch. Tragically, Panch was killed in a plane crash exactly two weeks after this was filmed. The coverage of the race aired tape-delayed, shown after he had already passed.
Watching this had me thinking of the good old days of my childhood. I decided to read the description and saw that it was posted on my birthday 2 years ago. In 1985 I was a racing fan for only 3 years .
Is the last segment on UA-cam?
I've got one of those Coors Racing hats~
I went to some weekend short track races here. Damn, I'm getting old.
Is Richie related to Marvin Panch?
Dave Moody looks the same.
The distribution of points in this race makes absolutely zero sense.
