I love how Zell had to run around the whole world just for that one punch and how they just changed the skill name from Tifa's Final Heaven to Zell's MY Final Heaven

Mysterious Maximus it wasn't to a halt. Zell punched the floor of the train so hard that the entire train violently shook to the point where the conductor went on the PA to nervously let everyone know that the train was unharmed in that "minor vibration" as he put it . but yeah Zell tho
Funny thing was that if you dont take that train and run down the rail, you see a galbadian Militarycar right on the rail, dont letting you pass. So back then I always thought the Train was crashing into them and Zells punch to the ground was just good timing^^
The End, is just the most hilarious Limit Break move I've ever seen! I especially love how it was put at literally the end of the video.

Beat the game recently. After kicking Ultimecia's ass with one trillion Renzokukens, the finishing blow was randomly scored by an 800 damage hit by Angelo. Was kind of ridiculous actually.
It doesn't matter how high the damage is for the last blow, even a weak spell like blizzard can finish her off. It's a free throw.
Zells limits were always my favorite, running around the world is so badass
I remember Selphie's "The End" randomly cropped up on the final boss. Good times :-D
I still say that Blasting Zone is way more awesome than Lionheart. "Yours is the sword that will pierce the heavens", indeed.
Blasting Zone is annoying, it takes so long. =P

I always thought Quistis was a Sorceress. This girl could shoot laser beams out of her eyes, degenerate foes into nothing, summon Death, blast missiles from her palms, spit acid, blast a volley of bullets from her, erm, breasts? And utterly annihilate enemies with Shockwave Pulsar.
Erm, actually, I think Quistis is something far MORE powerful than a Sorceress..

Yes, it will. Only battles with multiple phases will not be immediately won by The End, unless it is the final phase already.
A Smith no u wrong, the end still work on Ultimecia, but u have to use twice, i used to do that when im lazy to kill her
JayDragon7 Yes, the end can and does finish even the ultimate weapons in FF8. I've tried and done it in ps1 back in the day and it worked great(when the end proced ofc..)
I know I'm a few years late, but The End also doesn't work on undead enemies/bosses. But otherwise yes it will beat any other enemy/boss.

In the game's coding are two spells that were most likely intended as part of Selphie's Slot Limit Break. These are 'Percent', a gravity spell that reduces HP (I forgot how much though), and 'Catastrophe', a damaging spell stronger than Ultima or Apocalypse. Neither of them have any animations left in, so they just use the default 'Fire' animation.

Same, after the ps2 consoles having to raise the graphics each year became such a slog.
I can't get over how good this looks in HD.
You also missed a few more things, like the 4-hit, 6-hit, 7-hit, and 8-hit Renzokuken variation and the boss-specific Renzokukens (like the one against Omega Weapon, Bahamut, etc.), and Seifer's special Limit Break that he used against Squall during the solo fight against him, but you did a great job with this.
Zell can do infinite mass punches and run at Flash speeds, Quistis can use the power of the strongest Guardian Force ever and also break the damage limit, Squall can like fly and leap super high, Irvine packs every type of ammo, even *tank busting railgun shots* in that rifle of his, Rinoa's dog can teleport people to space and become a blue metor, herself can cast crazy matter altering magic, and Selphie can literally erase things out of existence! Oh and Laguna can attach a rope to *nothing*.
These supposed students, teachers and ex-military are all super beings!
Let's not forget how Ward can leap seemingly hundreds of feet into the air with no running start. Or how Angelo can make people literally invulnerable at the cost of a dog treat.
Oh god, I've never actually seen My Final Heaven or The End before and they are both too damn amazing.

Google Phantom Censor comments it doesn't work on undead enemies though. Although there are only 2 undead bosses

Quitsis' limits where just basically the attacks from FF7's Enemy Skill materia with a few exceptions like Gatling Gun, Electrocute which in turn looked like Quazocolts attack
Kiros' limit break is the most underwhelming one. He does 6 hits and get's up in the enemy's face like if he's going to unleash something cool but instead just ends right there
To be honest, everyone that isn't a main party member has an underwhelming limit break compared to the main cast. Kiros' is probably the best out of the temporary party members (though he can only use it on one enemy i think). Seifer's and Edea's only work on one target and only have one hit, and while Laguna and Ward use it on all enemies, it's still one hit. They do look cool, though.

There is another limit break for Seifer, Bloodfest
Also Demon Slice. It seems that thouarm didn't consider his limit breaks when you fight him.
The sound effects are fantastic... Especially if you consider that it's all using the same small sound data (the PSX has 512kb of sound ram and most goes to music and reverb buffer and streaming is possible but unpractical), and the only things it can use are volume, panning, pitch, noise mode and pitch modulation mode.

Where did you get Seifer's Limit Break 0:38 - 0:52 ? Isn't he only playable briefly in the Dollet landing?
I have been trying to figure out a code or something to use Seifer and Edea in the ePsxe 1.7.0 emulator and have yet to find anything. Got any suggestions???

OMG the high-level Limit Breaks were so fucking satisfying. lol This game made me feel so powerful as a kid. GOD, I still love these sound effects.
Man if you like the sound effects as much as me, you should know this version had reverb disabled, a flaw of expse with this game. I did some testing at the time and only Xebra can reproduce the accurate sound

The reason I like NES bionic commando or Top Secret better is because of Laguna limit break. I never knew military soldier actually uses grappling hook in battle.

Just when you think you can’t like Zell anymore than you do, you see My Final Heaven and are proven wrong. Then, you see him eating hotdogs and are once again proven wrong only to be proven wrong immediately after as he starts chocking on said hotdogs.

she can put mobs next to an exploding pulsar, which is pretty damn awesome, also her limit breaks the 9999 damage max per hit, which is rare in this game, I think only she and Eden can do so. :P

This has been posted for quite some time and the last activity of the user was 5 years ago.
It would have been more comprehensive if:
• Multi-Target Skills are used against Multiple Enemies
- Laguna's Desperado
- Irvine's Scatter Shot
- Squall’s Fated Circle & Blasting Zone
• Temporary Character Skills used on Key Enemies
- Seifer's No Mercy on Galbadian Soldiers, although there are Boss-only “Demon Slice” & “Bloodfest”
- Edea's Ice Strike on Abadon or Adel/Ultimecia through Codes
• Squall's Renzokuken have different variations and there are some enemies with specific animations
- Vs. Jumbo Cactuar
- Vs. Bahamut
- Vs. Ultima/Omega Weapon
• Zell's Duel Skills can be segmented into different clips then added together (though as the uploader mentioned that it can be tedious work XD) So that some skills will not show over and over again, although this works to those who want to see the "path" on how to get to each "Finisher"
• Quistis' (Mother of the Qu Clan? XD) Blue Magic can be used against enemies that has the same skill:
- Vs. Malboro (Bad Breath)
- Vs. Greiver (Shockwave Pulsar)
Enemies that can showcase each skill’s effect or damage
- Vs. Multiple Status-Weak Enemies (Bad Breath vs. Behemoth)
- Vs. Ruby Dragon vs. Degenerator
• Rinoa’s
“Angel Wing” + “Meteor” = “Meteor Wing Combo”
- Angelo Search obtaining “Hungry Cookpot” (The rarest item in the game)
• Selphie’s “The End” Skill is perfectly placed
This game was super epic
Seifers "No mercy" is the same move he does in the opening fight against Squall ;)
And FFX was amazing. It's still my favourite of them all.

just looking at the first half, i'm reminded of watching my brother play this 12 years ago haha the battles seem so much more epic then current final fantasies imo. a lot more hype for a lot more skills it seems but i'm mostly in comparison to final fantasy 13 which is frowned upon :P wish they'd do something like this again...

Shockwave Pulsar is Greiver's attack. Since Greiver is junctioned to Ultimecia, naturally she's able to use it.
