***** - I don't think there is wrong with wearing $20 Vans, but I don't think there is anything wrong with wearing an $80 dollar grey tee. I got a couple. It isn't always about the graphic, but about the fit and often times these more expensive tees are more expensive because they use higher quality fabrics and more durable sewing techniques riderfan4. Once you get some high quality garments you will understand why people are willing to pay more for it.

I do something similar with my toddler's clothes. Inside out, wash, lay dry. They have lasted so long and still look new. The Dryer sheet idea is great. I never wash hoodies inside out bc the fuzzy stuff gets everywhere

I love Tommy Bahama shirts and I’ve had the problem (when washing and drying them) of shrinkage. I love the shirts so much that, that’s literally all I wear. I’ve recently stopped buying them because they would shrink. It’s become expensive as their $50 per shirt. I’ve missed them so much that I went searching online for a video and yours came up. I’ve decided to give it a try, so hopefully it works and I don’t have to worry about them shrinking. I appreciate the video man!

  • @seana806

You don’t always have to wash regular clothes on delicate, usually you use the shortest time possible on the regular cycle along with a warm or cold rinse though warm is your best bet since it dissolves all the detergent and prevents buildup inside the machine. Maytag suggested in the early 60’s (at least with their wringer washers) to wash whites for 3 to 5 minutes on hot and colors on warm 3 to 5 minutes and they may sound like that’s not enough time but since most machines had agitators in them that basically mimicked hand washing in a bucket but sped up, you don’t really need anything to be washing for more than 4 or 5 minutes since washing for anymore than 4 to 5 minutes not only wastes time but puts wear and tear on your clothes not to mention the machine itself. As for drying anything with vinyl decals on t-shirts or delicates, you don’t need everything that goes into the dryer to be bone dry as soon as it’s done, damp dry is your best bet since it’ll reduce wear and tear on clothing and the dryer itself.

Cool video man, I was thinking about washing all my garments by hand in separate buckets of water. Starting with a little detergent to break up the dirt / what ever, then a bucket with clean water, and lastly into another clean bucket to really get out everything. Then air dry, idk if thatll work better or worse then this

I actually use fish net so i can throw bunch of clothes and i just put the clothes i dont want to ruin inside fish net. This way even how fast the cycle go, the shirt is still protected by the net. To smell fresh just put some liquid to make all the clothes smell good lol. Then i hang them folding in the stick this way im not using hanger also. Everything will be finished in like 5hr coz of drying with minimum effort

I used to hang up my t shirts after drying but I've since stopped. I'd rather deal with the creases from folding. Hanging up t shirts stretches out the collars, even if they are completely dry prior to hanging. I've tried all typed of hangers and they all do this. Don't hang up t shirts or you'll stretch the collar.

  • @gamer1245

Just drape the garment over the bottom of the hanger like you would with pants, doesn't take up as much space. Sneak in a dryer sheet if you want the smell. Just don't crowd up the rack to allow for better airflow.

Doesn't stretch out the tee, the weight of the tee is being supported by the entire width of the tee. Unless you hang weights from either side, nothing should stretch out the tee using this method

How do you dry multiple garments? Only problem I can see with this is finding a place to let the clothes lay and dry. Do you stack them all on top of each other with a dryer sheet between each piece or do you put one shirt on a table, another on another table, so on and so forth?
