Oh, I don't like what the sailor on the right is doing.. she's really good, but that's not "the dance"... She's doing some "Irish dance" things that don't belong in a Highland Dance competition... I hope the judges saw that as well. (She's probably from somewhere else, Ireland maybe?)
@Millenimorphose The 2nd step the middle dancer did was the Look-Out. I didn't however recognize the next (3rd step) and certainly not the arm movements. Was that the one you were referring to? If valid, what's the step called?

The second step she’s doing is pretty new (last update to the hornpipe handbook, I think), but it is a valid step.

Nope! These steps are one of the many hornpipe steps dancers may do. She did it perfectly as well!
