Agreed. Its defiantly different than how people are used to hearing the Star-Spangled Banner sung. But something new and I LOVED it! The beginning was a bit shaky; like he was maybe a little nervous. I would be Its one thing to sing your music but that song has huge meaning, power and emotion that you obviously have show, or get pushed down its intimidating. But just a bit into it he gets into his place and owns it in my opinion Lots of Raw emotion that deserves to be in that song! Great Job Ben
He melted my heart a long time ago, but that feeling always comes back. I would love for him to sing to me. I love Breaking Benjamin's version of "Who Wants To Live Forever" for that reason. I downloaded Live versions of BB songs just to hear him sing unproduced. Oh he is a gorgeous person.
well, that night, PNC BANK was promoting the Baseball game, so that might make some sence. your right, it does make sence that he would sing for his state.
@EpicFiasco231 If you have listened to most of the song on the "We're not alone here" album, they seem pretty clean so it isn't too surprising to see him sing the national anthem completely clean but it is eye-opening/attention-grabbing.
