It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a calf trying to stand and take its first steps. Patty is a good mom, I love hearing that gentle mom moo they have. Thanks for taking the time to show this Pete.
"It's a wonderful life". I actually thanked God while watching this video for His Creation. It is truly amazing that the mom cows have such mothering instincts when, unfortunately, some humans do not - freewill and all that. Anyway, thank you for sharing. Was raised on a farm so know how tired you truly are at the end of the day. May God Bless.
This was terrific, Pete -- and the dad jokes are great! My grandfather was a minister from Upstate New York and he loved to tell corny jokes! We kids would roll our eyes, of course, as your kids do, but they are among my fondest memories. Here's his favorite: A man bought a horse from a preacher. The preacher instructed him that the horse responded to unusual commands: "Praise the lord" to go forward, "Bless you" to go left, "Peace be with you" to go right, and "Amen!" to stop. So the man gets on the horse, says "Praise the lord," and they go galloping off. He soon realizes that he has forgotten the commands for left and right and they are heading straight for a cliff! He wracks his brain but cannot remember the command to stop. As they get closer and closer to the cliff, he suddenly remembers and shouts "Amen!" and the horse stops right at the edge. The man wipes his brow and says, "Whew, that was a close one! Praise the lord!" 😅
My Dads name was John. He told awful "jokes" . We called them Johnorisms as we didn't think they were really jokes. They were probably bad Dad jokes.... I think he liked our eye rolls and moans. :-)
Hey Pete I love your channel it’s very interesting to see what you do every day brings back a lot of members when I was a little boy helping my grandpaw and my dad on the farm bringing in the cow to the barn to do the milking feeding the pigs and take if care of them and the chickens oh yes the chickens talking care of them was a big job all though I love gathering the eggs and feeding them in the mornings befor school and after school and feeding the live stock of the evening Pete what I’m trying to say is I’m 65 years old now and I have great memerys of my child hood I will take them to my grave so glad I exeranced it have a great week love watching your channel
My wife was very pleased to see you wearing a University of Florida College of Ag and Life Sciences shirt in this video...she's the Dean of that college and said that it was about time. We've enjoyed your videos. Allen Turner
You, sir, are an artist. The jokes, the wisdom, the camera work…. I came for some practical knowledge, I subscribed for the pure joy. Your wife is a gem, too (from a fellow farm wife).
I just re-watched this video for the 3rd time. I have to say this is one of my favorite videos. So informative and relaxing. When I lived on the farm it was always great to see the birth of the livestock.
Pete and Hil, you look like a happy kind of tired. That's a good thing. Happy Father's Day Pete. Please wish your dad also. He sure looks like a good dad. Enjoy him as long as you can.
Amen to that. Happy Father’s Day to all of you Father’s. Do the best you can, but realize you may well be blamed for whatever reason for something. Ugh. The joys of being a parent.
“He turned into a driveway”. I love your dad jokes. They almost always make me burst put laughing with how bad they are. My hubby is jealous. Happy Father’s Day.
I always look forward to your shares on the farm, especially when you include Hillary. The two of you working together is enjoyable to watch and we appreciate these moments you share with us. Happy Dad Day.
Hey Pete & Hillary. My wife and I enjoy watching. We are missionaries and live in Kenya and watch almost all the videos. We are missing the new videos at the Market. Those are our favorites. 2nd is when you are rebuilding the tractors. (Guy Thing). Keep posting.
Happy Father's Day, Pete & your Dad. Congrats on multiple calf births in one day. The miracle of life on the farm. I love watching the new piglets. So cute all sleeping in a row. 🐖🐷🐮🐄🐔🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
I saw a calf born in the field one time at a friend's 'few acres farm' where I lived off and on in my youth. It's a good life, breeds good folks. This is a top channel. Love the tractor collection. Every working farm is like a living museum where the generations overlap. GB
Thank you Pete and Hil for setting such a wonderful example of what life can be. Hard work, but enjoyable as well. I wish you and your Father a blessed day.
Perfect timing for a video! Just as I get home from a long night at work and plonk down to relax a bit before going out and checking some hives and mowing if it doesn't get too windy or hot.😎
Happy Father's day. Love the fact that you guys are so down to earth. Congrats on the new babies. Always enjoy seeing you guys working together. Keep the videos coming please. I appreciate you guys incredibly.

Happy father's day. I am celebrating my recovery status today (walking around the whole house after being bedbound) with making a smoked pork shoulder á la Pete! With help ofc but what a way to celebrate.
Thanks for sharing Pete and Hillary. Watching newborn calves take their first steps is a blessing. It's amazing how mother nature works. Farming is an everyday adventure. Happy Father's Day....
Pete!! LOL........"Hilirie loafing on the job!!"....... Something tells me H hasn't loafed on your farm in a very long time.....probably not since the very first day she stepped onto the property. What a great video!! And.....(as long as you don't tell my kids)....probably the best Father's Day present I received this year. Please keep up the "Good Work". Rich from PA.
I love this channel. Farm life and no bs. Beautiful. Best pure good content on here. This guy and wife are amazing. Father's Day is sad day for me. I'm estranged from my 2 grown son are in their mid 20s. No contact. I have got my life together for over 10 years now , unfortunately people let the past run their life. I'm judged from my past mistakes still to this day 11 years later. I'm a father but not in my son's lifes at all. I'm try , I reach out. Sad when people refuse to get over the past.
I agree that some let the past control their present. It is sad. Forgive the past and move on with life. Learn from others mistakes and strive to not make them yourself. No one is perfect. I hope your sons figure out life soon. Best regards.
Nothing better than having fresh hay in the barns in mid June. I do alot of the same things you guys do and still very much enjoy watching your channel. We put up 540 little squares today. Good weather, tomorrow maybe not so much Thank you Pete n Hillary!

Long time watcher. I was in your area, kinda, picking up a whole processed cow. Family raised, family processed. Thanks for the honest content.
Thanks for sharing all the common sense that comes with farming successfully!
That was a nice looking green tractor delivering hay. Your newborns look great also. You guys do such a great job with all your animals
Awesome video Pete. Always amazed me how quickly calves get up. 🐄🚜🐷
On average I think goats are even faster to get on their feet and nurse almost immediately.
When you have a very productive day, with no unexpected setbacks or casualties, that is a great day.
Your ‘painful jokes’ are my favourite reliefs, and I share them with my niece every time!
Hillary has such a beautiful smile Pete, you are so lucky to have her.
