Yo DigitalT When they Mentioned the Ancient Ones Were those The Gods of the Devil May Cry Franchise Who Actually Spilt Both The Underworld And Human World Apart if So Why didn’t they Intervine When the Devils Invaded the Human World?
you should do a video speculating about the other demonic generals that served under mundus besides sparda. i think the only canonical mentions of them comes from the dmc anime and dmc2. would be an interesting video though.
I think there's more history to the underworld before Mundus's coronation. In the mobile game DMC Peak of Combat, we meet the very first demon king, Plutone. We can also see a silhouette of Plutone in the DMC3 manga (which was made WAY before Peak of combat) and on the Music album cover for the theme: Fire Inside. Maybe Mundus rebelled against him after gaining the power of that fruit and forced the first dark emperor to surrender his throne to the dark prince. Well, how did Plutone return in Peak of Combat, which was set in an alternate timeline between DMC3 and DMC1? Well, I can only answer that with one theorical answer: Time Travel.
I honestly prefer having no heaven in DMC. It gives the idea that even a devil can be "angelic" and a human could be "demonic". Introducing literal angels would clash with the games pre established messaging.
I feel like that would mess with the human and demon world pretty much symbolizing a yin Yang. The human world is mostly good but obviously has evil in it, and the demon world is mostly bad but has some good in it like Sparda.
If that's the case I'm curious where the fallen ones from DMC 3 fall under then. Since they're pretty much fallen angels, so there has to be a heaven if they exist in the DMC universe.
Gilver is a demon similar to Trish, made by Mundus in the image of Virgil like she was made in the image of Eva.
it makes great headcanon now the novel's been de-canonised
Surprised you didn’t touch on Abigail from the dmc series which is canon
There is no lore about Abigail, only a little info is given

Would you imagine if heaven was actually a place in the DMC Universe

If there was heaven in dmc then they don’t care much for mortal life

They can explain that heaven loss in a war against the demon world, & it's now an abandoned, destroyed land. & the few remaining angels are in hiding
