Roland is doing a poor job of marketing this module. Ive been using a hybrid kit for almost a decade, and even when I had it on tour with artists such as Vince Neil, Wang Chung, and Biz Markie...I repeatedly heard from their FOH engineers how EASY the setup was and how great it sounded out of the box. They really need to market this to the drummer who is playing clubs and theaters because it makes setup very quick....especially when the band is bringing the PA. It sounds fantastic, routes REALLY easy for use with in ears monitors, and reduces sound check by at LEAST 30 minutes for each gig. Well worth the money, in my opinion
Hola alguien puede darme ayuda. . Que parte de configuración debo ajustar . Porq cuando hago rudimentos . Fils ; no salen completos se cortan la respuesta es a media .. gracias
Hi there. I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger. Thanks for your help.
Can the Roland TD17 be connected to the Roland tm 2 with a midi out cable so I can have the sounds of the TD17 on the tm2 directly with a midi out cable?
Hey does anyone know if this box transmits midi clock effectively? If I had a whole backing track loaded into the TM-6 Pro and wanted to synchronise an external midi sequencer, has anyone done that? According to the midi implementation chart, this box transmits clock but not midi song start messages. Has anyone tried that?
Hello! I have the Roland td 17 kvx and I have already made an extension to a third crash (crash 3) covering the AUX socket on the td17. i want to make another extension to a second floor tom (Tom 4) and that's why I got the roland tm 2 which has two triggers slots. can you tell me if the tm 2 can be connected to the td17 with a midi out cable or mix in cable so that I can save sounds from the td 17 to the tm 2? also sounds with the sd card can I add from td 17 to tm 2? is there another way I can save sounds via sd card from TD17 to tm 2? Thanks!
If you do a firmware upgrade at some point can you include more functions with external foot pedals please? if the two foot pedals can also have options in the control menu for Master f\x on/off, All FX on/off, kit FX on/off, pad fx on/off, and maybe have a new sub menu in fx to group fx into 2 different groups and have the pedal control group 1 or 2 fx on/off it'd be great, the foot pedal options are pretty useless as the things that you can do at the moment are easier to do with a finger pressing a button. If we can turn on and off fx without having to create a new kit it'd be so much easier, also if we could have more than 100 patches it'd be great 200 minimum please. it's not like the data actually takes up a lot of space, it's basically settings data which is a small filesize, each kit file doesn't have to carry the actual samples in it's file formatting. Thank you.

I'd agree that these "tips" are pretty impossible to watch without any kind of explanation or table of contents.

The video is difficult to be understood without human voice
you could simply turn the subtitles on?
These are the absolute WORST “help” videos I’ve ever seen.
