Another great video! I love love thrifting. Where else to go to find such amazing and unique things so cheaply! ❤
@ 7:20 Not a vase. They are dresser caddies that were very popular back in the 1950s and 1960s especially for men to put on their dressers and use the poaches or pockets for cuff links, tie clips, wallets, etc and would hang watches on tails or long necks or whatever the creature was.....
We have a second hand shop here in the small country town in South Africa where I live. I jokingly call it The Room Of Requirements, from the Harry Potter movies because sooner or later EVERYTHING I want passes through there. I've bought a cane and ratten chair that is the comfiest thing I ever sat in (with ticking mattress bottom and back!), a wall unit that fits in my caravan like God designed it, a tiny sink with cabinet for my outdoor kitchen, a tiered bedside unit with six compartments that I also use in my outdoor kitchen, a vintage bean pot from England - LOADS of amazing stuff...
The giraffe kettle is sooo cute❤❤❤
We are so envious! Western Australian 'Charity' stores are so mundane. I wonder if the staff throw out all 'weird' stuff. Sadly too many of our 'charity' stores are de-cluttered & more like boutiques & certainly not cheap anymore. Thank you.
I have two of the kangaroo watch, wallet and change holder! My grandfather used this everyday! I loved it as a kid. Found one in the thrift store and later inherited the "real" one! Good memories
Oh that weezer CD!
Finding a wallet full of money is just a lie! People who work in thrift shops never miss things like that!
Sometimes they don't..I found $300 in a "Internet for Seniors" Dummies book years ago..
They will ALWAYS check a wallet or purse.

They usually don't check books.
Wallets and purses ALWAYS.
Not true, found 20 bucks in the pocket of a dressing gown once, didn’t buy the gown 😅
The Feather Tie!!!
The "Show Me Your Kitties Tshirt shoulda had TWO Kitties............
Yup.
I have a large antique Elgin pocket watch that doesn’t work, but like to keep around as a decorative object. I 🩷 the pink “AM transistor radio” t.p. dispenser, as it’s metaphorical for the daily news!!!!!!!!! The plushy red & black footed “cat throne” is a fab piece of furniture!!!!!!!!! I scream for the “vintage creepy” framed photo and break for the Unicorn mirror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🦄 One day, while I was walking my pooch, I found a red wooden toy piano just like the $10. one there, that a neighbor left out on the curb, so picked it up, took it home, wiped the surface off clean, and guess what, all the keys work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😆
The ostrich figurine is actually a lid for a small cylinder shaped pot. I've had the same one for years.
Well I know what im doing Saturday..😅thrift giant treasure hunt 😂
Whoever bought those two cameras for less than $30 got a steal. Mine was $600 and it was a gift from my husband not long after we got together. Not to mention the carrying cases.
The local thrift store is high way robbery I mean they over charge everything they think everything is a good find 🤦🏻♀️and one time I found the same brand socks they sell they had at two different prices no thanks but sometimes they are ignorant of the actual value or the item and this person that works there said they get things before they put it out 😢 I’m thinking they’re getting a big ticket item nope my nephew passed up a brand name telescope because it was missing a leg 🙄 however he did get a bargain of a wagon that sold for $$$$ at a retail store for less than $20.00 there.
Punctuation?
I like the avant garde'.
Finding money in side or inside pockets is common in thrift store purses! :) I worked in a thrift store That the frist think I would do when shorting out donations
Found 100.00 bill put it in the till :) it was a slow day this made better sales for day! Enjoy Hunting :) for uniques objects of joy !👍💮🖼️🌷
was going thru a downtown dumpster & there was one of those 1st Dollar from the Chamber of Commerce in the frame!
lots don't realize thats a REAL US $1 bill!
yes spent it gave frame to a friend
Those mustache man dolls go for alot of money online
I watch these videos open-mouthed. Gotta wonder at the folks who paid full price for some of these things.
Wrist watches did not exist in the 1800's!
That is correct. The watch definitely too modern to be that old. Men used pocket watches in the late19th century, so its not that old!
