What exactly do you expect them to do? The house of representatives is a single entity that would need the senate and president to cooperate. They can refer charges to the justice department if any violations of law can be specifically identified, but again that requires the executive (president) to cooperate. There is a possibility they can sue the BATF after they discover how corrupt and unconstitutional this actually is which will require the courts to not get political too.
So exposure and informing the public, perhaps shaping future legislation or refusing to grant more powers in future legislation might be all that can be done.
I understand your frustration. You just have to be realistic. And you certainly have to understand that if you just throw your hands in the air and stop voting , you will only be enabling the agencies and the democrats in the future.
That's the reality we are in. There is a push to zero the pay out for officials involved in this but that would likely be unconstitutional.

If you are a member of congress, put on an important committee with an important witness. Your attendance should be mandatory and when you return to your district you should be a witness at a hearing for the people of your district no matter how they voted.

Let's find out how deep this particular rabbit hole goes thrn decide what the next course of action is. Years ago, I was ona pistol team with a WWII vet who had lost both hands in that engagement. (you don't want details) He was able to compete with a custom appliance that attached to his arm prosthetics. These braces were designed around guys exactly like him... and the aft turned them all into felons with a shrug and a stroke of the pen; yet there have been basically zero incidents of criminal misuse of the product.
The atf never had the power to do that and they did any way ????. Corrupt beyond belief !!!!
When you have members of Congress talking about these things that are not in defiance of any law, claiming repeatedly, even after being corrected, that pistol braces " make it function like a fully auto..." and that it's just like a bump stock". But it's absolutely neither of these things. He intentionally misrepresents and misleads, and refuses to stop, even when directly corrected on the matter... And the parroting begins and all attempts to correct and clarify are just ignored...literally not even acknowledges, like nothing was ever said, they just carry on spewing false information. Because they don't want anytime to know any truth that's inconvenient to their goals and then act as if there's no opposition and there's no reason not to listen to and believe them and just go along with what they say, no matter what they say. And they make these ATF, or AFT as your president says, rules up with the intent of flip flopping and causing millions of law abiding Americans to become felons literally over night because they purchased something that's not forbidden by law years earlier and they've found ways to get a hold of customers lists of people who have purchased these parts and accessories which ARE NOT FIREARMS, but their rules treat them as firearms despite there never having been any reason at all to do so...until now. Now they want to treat these items as firearms so they can arrest innocent law abiding Americans. There's no shortage of videos on the internet of AFT agents and local law enforcement going to bang in people's doors with no search warrants...because they've not done anything that breaks any law, and they intimidate these law abiding Americans and threaten them with confiscation, fines, and imprisonment if they have to come back and look for them. They do the same to innocent Americans who have purchased more than one firearm...assuming that if this regular successful upper middle class family man with wife, 2.5 kids, a dog and a picket fence in the suburbs has purchased two firearms at the same time or in a short period of time, then he must be making straw purchases, which are illegal but certainly not evidenced by somebody purchasing 2 firearms. But they show up, again, no warrant because they've not committed a crime and the agents can't come up with anything that looks like probable cause to get a warrant, so they come with a paper in their hand which they hope looks like a warrant to the person they've come to harass...and they pull the same routine...intimidation and threats and requests that are carefully veiled demands to see their legally owned firearms which they have no right to inspect or make any demands in their regard. The fact that they even own those firearms is supposed to only be available to the licensed dealers where they purchased the firearms. Then we find one of their agents frantically copying these records they aren't supposed to have. They have failed at instituting laws mandating a federal registry, so they've just been building their own database illegally. They are legally barred from having that information. But the ATF and the Biden administration, which is slowly being revealed to be the norm, said that law shouldn't apply to us, so we're going to ignore it "for the greater good"...because we don't care that the people don't want a federal gun registry, who are they to try to control what we do? It's not like we work for them...they're just dumb peasants...we know what's needed and we don't have to listen to the public because they're wrong so we do as we please. So they continue...making strategic rules that they treat as law, which target law abiding supporters of the 2A and are designed to make as many of them as possible into overnight felons whiner can make into prohibited possessors...without them ever breaking a law. It's absolutely disgusting. And don't forget, the FBI has proven to be acting in a similar fashion as they were exposed to be doing in targeting conservative parents who have been stirring up discontent by injecting to the long running leftist/democrat control of the public education system and it's use as a tool for indoctrinating generations of our children to adopt their radical, far left, Marxist ideologies. None of this is conspiracy theory. And the more they try to convince the public that it is, should be taken as indication that once again, or I should say as usual, they are lying and trying to mislead the public so they can further their agenda by whatever method they find necessary without regard for the law, their roles as elected officials, or the constitution. They don't care about any of those guidelines or limitations in their power. They must have unlimited power and they're taking it. It's time everyone start paying attention and remind them that they work for the people with the consent of the people...not to keep the people in line as they see fit.

Every nation who has wanted absolute control over it's citizens, without cance of rebellion or reprisals has made fireaums illegal. Case studies, look at Hitler's Germany, Does Canada allow any guns? Handguns are considered restricted firearms in Canada! I don't own a firearm.....Yet. Thank God for Jordan's voice 'of the people, for the people.
