I want to thank you for this Dan. I never thought I would consider another KTM300. My 2005 300exc was a pile of junk from brand new. These new ones are a far cry from almost 20 years ago. And now having a address in NV, its a no brainer to plate one of these.
Thanks this really helped a lot. It would have been more helpful if it came with written instructions as well and if you didn't completely skip past some of the steps and showed routing, plugging in, zip ties. No mention of the led flasher relay at all. All good in the end I was able to figure it out all and get the installation done. Very happy with the end product and I think you guys still made this a lot easier than any other option I was seeing.
I stopped by your shop last week and you guys made a harness in 10 minutes that included the old style start button. Everything is installed and works great. Great doing business with you. I have one question about the aux power wires. I’m installing a fan and maybe I can use the aux leads. Do they have power with the engine off. And is this a good plan or should I just run the fan to the battery and switch it with a relay or switch?
Great video, I just bought one of these and trying to figure out how to get it plated in Pennsylvania. Does your kit require any modifications to the OEM headlight? I was trying to figure out how you do low/high beam with the OEM light.
How did you make out, im also in Pa going to be picking up My 300 soon and wanna do the same as plate is needed for trails I ride. Also I was wondering on the all in one tail light, I know for my sport bikes it failed regular inspection due to being to close together, so curious how you made out.
@@truenorthmotos9965 If I can figure this license plate thing out I’ll be buying a new WR and your lighting kit your videos are great by the way thanks
No it does not come with mirrors and I don’t know what you mean by what not. Benefits over tusk would be made in USA, quality connectors and wire, plug and play without running to the battery, lifetime warranty on parts. Tusk is a cheap Chinese kit that fails often. That said buy what makes sense to you and is in your budget.

I’ll be calling you soon to order up a kit. Great job on the video. Really helps clarify the process
Appreciate the feedback.

We are working on the wiring diagrams and labeling now. Thank you for the feedback and we appreciate the support.

Nice job on the instructions.

Appreciate it. No it does not. Plug and play and makes the oem headlight have hi/low function.

@@biggy8724 I ended up getting it plated in SD. Super easy.
Do you have any instructions on how to get a license plate in Illinois installing the kit is the easy part
I wish I did man. Sorry it’s a pain there. Could always go the South Dakota route.

Kits for xcf? “Non-w” version?
Do you offer just a wiring kit to add low high and off headlight light switch without everything else?
@@stevekozak4474 I can put a kit together like that for you. Send me an email at dan.north@truenorthmotos.com.
Does this kit come with mirrors and what not? Also, what is the benefit of this over the tusk kit for $180?
