The sun flickered because it was going out bc the sun is a star and stars eventually go out but since the 2nd nearest star is like VERY far away we would all die from coldness when the sun went out

"My sister yelled "I'm home!" From the front door,the next morning I checked my phone. She didn't come home last night."
"I heard my younger sister say "You never found me sissy!". She died 2 years ago."
"My family went to a birthday party,I stayed home. The next morning I find organs all over the kitchen floor."
For the 1st one I immediately thought, "alternate universe!"

Just imagine your in a empty room nothing but yourself, and a door. Your curiosity peaks and you open it to find an identical room that is slightly smaller than the last, you keep going into the rooms and it slowly gets smaller and smaller, but you can't help but keep opening the next door. Eventually you get to the point where you can't even get through the door anymore more and wonder if there would have been more behind the next door.

I think this story is related to a Japanese urban legend “the white string”, I think it was called, about a young girl getting her ears pierced, then the spot they were pierced started to itch a lot, then a little white string came out and she tugged and tugged on it and it wasn’t coming out. So she grabbed scissors and cut the string. Everything went dark and it turned out the string she was pulling was a nerve that allowed her to see and cutting it made her go blind.
