Ty for the review even though its a year old I am def buying this product and btw the chicken looks great not nice gr8t!!!!
Hey Amy
I purchased this searing grill right after watching your video. Without a doubt, my family loves it. I've done steaks, burgers, hot dogs, sausage, smoke pork chops, chicken, as well as vegetables and last but not least, shrimp, and fish strips.
I grill two to three times a week and the only drawback is that I wish it was a tad larger and another 50 degrees hotter, other than that, it's the best kitchen addition that we have.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Love how happy you get with the sizzle-sizzle and grill marks 🙌🏼💖
Queen Amy showing off her grilling techniques!
Hail to the Queen Amy. LOL.
I threw my George Foreman grill away because it was too hard to clean. After watching this, I'm definitely going to try the Hamilton Beach grill
16:20 Poor Eric is starving recording his food getting cold. 😂🤣
Amazing content. Highly appreciated. I got mine 2 weeks ago . Love it .
I bought 2 of these and they are great! Drip tray catches all the fat and shish kabobs with short skewers make some great steak and veggie kabobs
Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hamilton Beach makes fantastic indoor grills! I bought one in the 90’s and it lasted for 20 years. It made the best steak as good as if it was cooked on a Weber Charcoal Grill, which is my favorite. QVC has a Hamilton Beach Grill which I like better then this model, so I will be getting it from them. Thanks Amy and Eric for this great and helpful video.
Thank you for watching.
Amazing review. I will buy. Thank you.
I'm thinking about buying one know thanks for sharing
Thank you Anne for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
I think I am going to purchase one. I like the removable plates.
been more than happy with my Hamilton beach searing grill and use it in-conjunction with a grillgrate Sear'nSizzle
I just realized that I need an indoor grill in my kitchen. I have a grilling pan but it performs poorly and I don't really like to use it. I was actually thinking about buying one of those "as seen on tv" contact grills that have 2 heating panels but this single heating element grill appeals to me more. I might actually buy something like that. Great review as alway!
Beth go to Costco and get yourself The Rock reversible grill sheet for 20 bucks. It's amazing. Let it cool down partway after cooking and then spray it with plain water and the heat will steam it so you can just clean it so easy when you're done. Makes beautiful char marks on food.
Wow, this popped up, and did i miss how many minutes for the vegetables, hamburgers, and the chicken? I would love to know as Im thinking of buying one. Thanks in advance.
That looks great! Year round grilling!
Thank you Mark.
Love this grill 😍 purchased mine for 80 at the time on Amazon
I love it too! It works great! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this video! I got one of these grills as a wedding gift and neither me nor my spouse knew what to do with it. I’ll give it a try!
Glad it was helpful. I really like this grill! Thanks for watching!
Thank you ma’am. you cook the steak the way I like it probably my going to be four minutes in each side, I go into buy one, for my Christmas present.
This randomly popped up on Amazon because I haven't been looking for cookware.
Came to see about it & now I want one Lol
I have been looking for an indoor grill. This might fit the bill, for the exact reason you stated. TFS!
Thank you Marisa. Glad you enjoyed it.
I always put my lid and drip tray in the dishwasher too.
Off to search if there is something similar available in U K. Have several George Foreman grills in different sizes but this looks so much better. Food looked great. Steak for dinner today I think .
Thank you Hilary. Yeah this guy works pretty good. I haven't tried a George Foreman grill yet.
How long did you cook the chicken, onions, mushrooms?
Does it come with cooking guide or cook book ?
Wished you showed cleaning as well... but looks like you made a nice meal in no time.
I definitely gonna buy one👍
i have it. i love it. thanks for the upload 😀
So do you every spray the actual grill or do you coat the good that youre grilling in olive oil or some type of marinade?
I wonder if you could put some tortillas on it, make the dough and bake them up in this. Does it have a flat instead of the grill plate? If so, it's $70.00 and would meet all my needs.
I don't know about a flat plate that you could do pancakes on, like the Griddler.
19:10 I would go up a be and lower time and it would keep it pink in there and not so brown around the outer wall.
I know what he wanted, raise the temp and drop a minute on each side and you have you pink med rare.
What's the temperature you cooked all this stuff at ? Did I miss it? Love the presentation, very helpful!! Thank you💯🥂
350 then 450 for the steak sear
Thanks to you I know what to try on this beauty?
What temperature to cook vegetables?
I love lemon pepper !
Hi, thank you so much! What temperature did you use for the vegetables and mushrooms?
wow all that looks so good!
Do the char lines make it taste any different than a normal indoor grill that doesn't give the char? It's my biggest complaint about the generic grill I have at the moment
Just got one let's go!
1 video review said the plate is cast iron and that u should season it like a cast iron skillet do u have to do that with this or is that rumor false?
The model I have is just nonstick. It is not cast iron. Here is the description from the manufacturer amzn.to/423KGaf
Is the lid removable.. so you can put in dishwasher.
The one without the window is dishwasher safe I believe. Check your manual
I had bought that grill back in 2018. It worked just fine for about a month. It would not get as hot as it did when I first used it. I was very disappointed.
how many years does this last?
Also, how many minutes to cook the vegetables? And the chicken? Thanks!! I am new to this :)
How does this compare to the Cussinart gridler?
I think the Griddler heats unevenly compared to this, but I love the Griddler for just about everything. Panini sandwiches, bacon/eggs, etc. This has a lid, but nothing to cook on the other side at the same time like the Griddler.
Does it have that electric taste like the Foreman Grill?
No, I've never noticed anything like that with this machine. Thanks for watching
Amazing grilling! Is the heat element consistent or does it vary? TIA
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. We didn't measure the temp on the heat element, so I can't say if there are any uneven spots. Based on the grill marks and eating the food, it seems to work pretty good.
There's an open gap on the back?
Does food taste better cooked on this grill or your cuisinart Griddler ?
15:10 "looks absolutely amazing" WRONG!!! looks like perfection.
So I see two reviews of indoor grills on your channel. Which do you prefer?
How do you clean it? 😮
What temp to cook the chicken on
How easy is it to clean the sides of where the removable tray goes??
I hand washed everything after each of the two uses. The cooking plate cleans well if you soak in hot water to get the grease off the back (aluminum?). Just make sure to get a dish cloth in between the openings/slats where the grease drips to the pan below. The bottom part where the electrical connections are is the part to be careful of. I immerse the part that doesn't have the connections in shallow soapy water being careful to not get the other part wet. The part with the connectors, I just wipe with a soapy dish cloth and then wipe the soap off carefully. The lid part comes clean pretty easy as well.
does the cooking booklet included?
If you don’t have a dishwasher heat this grill for like 20 secs, might need a pot holder and brush and this cleans up nice and easy!!!!
I bet I can cook my bacon, breakfast sausages, my hamburgers, hot dogs and Polish sausages on here as well, as I could have sworn that this was on Amazon, as that this is definately hard to find in any store.
❤❤❤
🤤
You remind me of Maya Rudolph.
How is the smoke? I don’t know if it’s smokeless or not! Most that claim smokeless aren’t but I don’t see this advertising smokeless
We didn't have any smoke until we turned up the temp to "sear" and the fat on the steak was melting. I ran the fan for a few minutes and then the smoke stopped and turned off the fan. I don't know how "smokeless" operate. I'm sure if you have plenty of oil/grease and high enough temps, you'll have smoke. But Amy didn't really use much oil and kept the temps down a bit so she could cook (without killing the food).
@@EricLearnstoCook
Gotcha so there is a fan on it? Or did you ran a different fan in your kitchen ? I’m still thinking about picking one up based on what Amy demonstrated
@@Trackhoe075 Hi, there's no fan on this but it doesn't get too smoky I find. I use it to finish Sous Vide stuff or to cook hamburgers or chicken. Works great.
@@colinsky27 thanks
The grill is smoke-less not quit smokeless, meaning there is some smoke but very minimal. Love this grill.
You said 6/5 and I thought to myself that sees little long.
Here’s the real review of this grill I have the one with the ceramic plate which is supposed to be nonstick, but everything sticks to it. Also, if you put the bottom drain the dishwasher, it warps even on the top rack. Save your money don’t support company that puts out shit products.
This model has a nonstick grill plate so I did not have that problem. I cannot compare it to the ceramic version. Ceramic cookware tends to have that problem as well so it does not surprise me. So...a real review of this model would be to use this model and not the ceramic version. It is not fair to this model to review it based on using a different grill. Thanks for watching!
@@AmyLearnsToCook that is a fair assessment of my real review. However, you did not address the bottom, drip pan made of cheap plastic which warps in the dishwasher top rack. I’ve had two of these grills, one, the ceramic, and one the nonstick version like you have however, the warping drip tray is common on both.
It probably overcooked his steak cause you had it wrapped in foil for who knows how long
it takes forever to cook...i regret buying this
