- Socialization is the key to creating a calm stable canine companion in your Cane Corso. I wanted to share some tips on how to socialize your Cane Corso to the world. A lot of people confuse socialization with meeting people but that is not the case. Yes socialization is meeting people but a huge part of it is seeing the world around them experiencing different environments. Socialization will desensitize your Cane Corso to things that may trigger a unwanted reactive behavior from them. Yes! People are always amazed when my 8 mnth old corso lays down in the middle of a store, or a street fair. He goes everywhere with me so he's so used to noises and people and cars etc...

I dont think i could find a gym in my province let alone city that would allow dogs inside, so cool you guys are able to do that

Hey Jason I just rescued a 2.5 year old cane corso and he was never socialized as a puppy he’s a happy and playful I’m definitely gonna be taking him everywhere I go I was told he barks at other dogs at dog parks or walking is there a link for the dog videos you mentioned in this video thanks

I have always done that with my dogs. Pet them when theyre eating early. I try to start training as early as possible.

What have you done if you have taken a couples getaway, cruise, or international trip? Do you board them or do you just eliminate those types of long trips from your lives.

What kind of horn are they chewing on? I've seen Justice chewing on it before. And where would I get one?

I’m buying a 4 month old cane corso he has not been socializing he has been in a farm not around ppl is it to later to get him socialized??
Does our Bruce cry because he wants to say hello to other dogs? It gets exhausting when we go on trips to the pet store or any place where there are other dogs. We've only had him 4 months. We are 3rd owners, and he is not neutered. Our trainer (Petsmart) said I need to get him snipped or it's going to continue. I really dont want to snip him.😔 He is 4 years old and has fathered a litter already.
Hey Jason, i really wanted to ask you and you guys watching this if you have any advice for me. I have a 3 months old male cane corso and its so anxious outside he doesnt really wanna walk outside and maybe one of the reason is that i missed the 12 weeks socialization but what advice would you give me to make him enjoing our walks... Thanks a lot!
Where do you walk? Is it high traffic, are there barking dogs behind fences? Semi-rural? Quiet low traffic? My reason for asking is to help you consider if there are any environmental factors that are making your dog feel anxious.
Identity exactly what he is scared of. He has to go out to the bathroom....is he scared at that instance? Maybe it's traffic? Whatever it is you need to expose him to it from a distance. Also how have you been handling the issue? Do you comfort him in his fear state, pet him, coddle him? If so your teaching him thru praise (rewards) that if he is scared he gets loved so that must be how he should act. Ignore and let him figure it out and pretend nothing is different.
@@jasoncorey i don't comfort him for that reason and i act normal he just stops and cries like he goes out to the bathroom in front of the house but he doesn't want to walk further away

Hi! I have been the owner of an adopted Cane Corso for a month now, he is 1.3 years old and weighs 33.5 kg. I wanted to ask if the weight is too small for his age?
Not necessarily....he could just be a small Corso and that's what his genetics will be.

I just got mines a week ago. She just turned 3 weeks and waitting on her 3rd set of shots. But the breeder did not do the social meeting is it to late ?
She just turned 3 weeks or 3 months? Never too late but if 12 weeks is up you missed a very crucial imprint period.

He's not only going to be a good drug sniffing dog because of his sniffing intensity, the second a smugger sees him walking towards him , the dude is going to confess EVERYTHING and beg for mercy!😂
