Jason Corey I love Will! So happy to see this shoutout to him!
How can I contact you if I want to buy a dog
If I have plenty space around the house do I still have to take it for walks?
Man.....wish he didn't have cut ears/docked tail....
Shameful
If u could talk about how to choose a top quality cane puppy?
Please
my heart melted when you said, "you are your dog's life; it's all he has"🥺
Yeah but dogs should have a couple other avenues. While you’re gone. If you’re the only one. They are not gonna be happy
Mine did too…..
He’s so calm and looks like a huge cuddle bug😊
He is ♥️
That doesn't happen by itself
He sounds like he’s purring!
@Rulya Mórrigan Ard Mhacha I've always loved Dogo Argentino's, but they're banned where I'm from as they're deemed dangerous 🙄. What is your dogo's temperament like?
@@jasoncorey I was gonna say those exact words.
I was blessed to have a Cane Corso/Bordeaux mix for 13 years. “Best friend” is an insult as the amount of love and support he provided is unmatched. (I’ve got PTSD) It’s been 2 years since his passing and I’m ready. Maybe a female this time. Let’s see. Good vibes.
I feel you my corgi took away the nightmares I had that wouldn’t let me sleep
Wow that seems like a cool mix
Just read your comment. It's been a little over a year since my German shepherd/hound mix passed, I was heart broken. He was so much more than a "best friend" as he was my protector as I'm out in the forest processing/hauling firewood. I just recently got a 2 month old Corso/lab mix. He's got a way to go but im confident in him. I also have PTSD and being in the forest with my dog is the best therapy I have found. Hope everything in your life is well
Update: I got a female cane Corso, Luna. And she’s amazing in so many ways. Such a daddy’s girl. ❤
@@elohesteewon803 heck yeah dude, sounds like life is good 😎👍. Wishing continued blessings
Bruce is absolutely beautiful. We have our 2nd Cane Corso now. We socialized him right from the beginning by taking him to Lowe's, Home Depot, and the veterinarian's office just to hang out so he would be comfortable there when he needed treatment. It worked like a charm and he thinks it's social time whenever we go for checkups. With our first, we didn't take him anywhere until after he had all of his shots and that was a mistake. He was great with people as long as he sensed that we were ok with him, but he quickly became intolerant of other dogs and ended up getting expelled from daycare. Even so, he was the best fur-baby. We lost him to bone cancer and miss him every day, but we love our new guy just as much. New owners should be prepared though, you will have something the size of a person glued to you no matter what you are trying to do! ❤😆
Thank you Erica for sharing your experiences. People wanting a Corso really need to understand the importance of socializing.
@@thatguy8718 Our first Corso also ate only a raw diet after he turned 6 months old. He was almost 7 when we lost him. However, he was neutered early before we knew about the increased risk of bone cancer in giant breeds. We waited until our 2nd Corso was a year old before he was neutered.
I assume he/she had shots before hanging out at the vet's. If not, that is a great place to catch a concentrated problem.
@@apkn1955 Yes. He had all his shots and didn't catch anything except pats on the head and hugs from all the vet staff who greet him like a rockstar every time we're there.
My intentions were to do just that socializing him in EVERYWAY possible but with covid-19 situation its extremely hard...so far we've only been to the vet... 😒
my 10yr old male just passed away this week, I miss him so much, after years of helping other breeders and owners of the Cane Corsos I agree with what you have to say, obedience training is very helpful too, and energy is everything, if your calm he will feel calm too, thank you for sharing
So sorry to hear Leah
Sorry for your loss.
I know how it feels. 😔
❤️
I sorry Leah I don’t know you but I know he loved you so much Rest In Peace ❤️❤️❤️
i'm so sorry for your loss.
my neighbor has a cane corso and he has absolutely no control over the dog.
i see a lawsuit happening in the future.
Ugh! I hate people who can’t control their dog, especially if it’s such a strong an big breed! It can be so dangerous! We have a dog and he is 1/3 cane corso and he behaves very well. I also hate all their excuses, if they can’t handle the dog, they shouldn’t get the dog.
What's the fastest time you have ever robbed a bank ? In and out ?

Do we have the same neighbor lol...because my neighbor’s cane corso is not trained at all

I got two cane corsos gifted to me very recently I was quite surprised and scared at first, but later on i did a bunch of research and your channel does help me a LOT,thank you, there both very loving and loyal dogs to me and my little sister
Wow that’s crazy😳 how did u get them gifted they are so expensive

I'm new to this community of cane corso..... I am learning alot before I have my 1st puppy cane corso. Thank you for all you do

Same here I want one so bad butt I know I'm not ready YET
You might not know but how much money is a cane corso?
Liar
It truly is like having another human being in the house. Our English mastiff lived up to 10yrs old. She loved nothing more than cuddles and being around us. I’m in love with the giant breeds because of her. Awesome awesome dogs 😍
I still miss ours ten years after he died
Grew up with Staffordshire bull terriers and their temperament sounds very similar. Got Jack Russell's now and although i love them haven't got quite the same bond i had with my staff. They don't have the same loyalty and want to please imo. He's a beauty and you can just tell he wants to be a part of every minute of your life. Great vid.
Nothing better than a miserable day coming home to cuddle with a mastiff
I disagree. They are so much better than having a human around. I have a boxer mastiff mix we rescued and he is beyond angelic. He loves sleep and belly rubs, and heaven for him is belly rubs while falling asleep:)
It's like having a baby and raising a child..
Life With The Locey's lmaooooo MOOD ,, they really are I have a breeding pair of Neapolitan’s and my GOD they are like babies but I love them
This is one of the most beautiful dogs I have ever seen. He has a dignified look, very subtle drooling, eyes are not droopy, skin looks super healthy, all of which I believe tend to be compromised with inbreeding or just bad breeding. Physically he seems capable and functional and best and most important of all he seems to have great temperament. Kudos to you, from a Bernese dad :)
Congrddulations,King CoRsO Dad.
WOW! You Sir brought the greatest advice!!! This needs to be followed by every Dog Owner!
This is Exactly what happened with my lab - she is 3 months old now and just got done with her shots. Doc said dont take her out and what I have at hand now - is a dog that not biting people, but gets really really excited seeing someone and nips and jumps. I realised it too late that I should have socizlied her the moment she came in and in that crucial period. But not doing it again. Her trainer starts next week and hopefully, post her training, I will be able to take her everyday. But that jason is indeed very crucial advice.
Such great advice! Not just for this specific breed but also can be applied to almost all breeds, so great to hear this.
wolfygrl24 I couldn’t agree more . Currently working on my almost 2 year old with socialization problems bc I followed my vets advice
He is so calm and cuddly... i love that adorable snore- like sound he makes😍😍😍
I show this to all my friends that decide to get any big dog. Full of good information! Currently have 2 australian shepherds a 80lb pit lab mix and english mastiff pup
This was an excellent video. Our Irish Wolfhound breeder kept their litter 12 weeks. This gave them more time with litter mates and Mom to learn positive behaviors. They also had lots of socialization with him. We started socialization right away but had to soon purchase a minivan to take him places. You also need to think about a rescue/evacuation plan with a giant breeds. Saxon is 37" at the withers now at almost 2 years old and weighs 155#. We live in a Hurricane prone area with a warm humid temp many months of the year. One of the first things we did after getting a used van was buy a large tarp to safely move him if injured or sick. You have to consider so much more with giant breeds. Keep up these videos. I just discovered you tonight and the videos are thoughtful and very realistic as to what and how to raise a large/giant breed puppy/dog.
Wow evacuation is not something I have considered. Thank you for bringing this up. I need to get something figured out asap
Fantastic video! Felt u gave a very honest n informative factors to consider BEFORE seriously deciding to own a Cane Corso. Seen other videos on Cane Corsos, but this video is truly thought provoking ! Thanks for this video.
Excited to see more videos bro :) Dropping knowledge bombs!
I have a few more planned out.....hopefully I can get to them soon.
Thank you for all the advise. For 12 yrs I had a staffordshire, and when he had gotten sick I took him to the vet and ran into one of the beauties. I instantly fell in love. Though I'm not ready for another pup at the moment. This is my next pick. Still researching all about them.
This is the best video I ever watched about dog care. My dog was around for 16 years of utter joy!!! So many people get dogs and they don’t understand what they need to do for them!!! ❤❤❤
seriously one of the best cane corso videos i have found. i have been trying to consume myself with knowledge on these beautiful animals. my fear is that i do something wrong during first year that causes me to have a bad and dangerous situation becaue there is surely no giving this type of dog to a pound. your video has put me at ease. yes lots of work to be put it but it's more intensive than it is anything else. thank you for caring about the breed and putting out helpful responsible videos.
This is a very very informative and important episode for all potential Corso parents! Loads of love for Bruce Wayne & his Family ❤️
I recently got my first cane corso and absolutely adore her.. I have been watching your videos non stop ever since..
Excellent advice!! Thank you. Right now I have an American Bully we rescued. One day we will would love to have a Cane Corso. I'm soaking up all the information possible for that time. ❤ you Bruce Wayne.
…you can tell this dog is so loved- and you are so knowledgeable- thank you for this-
You are the only person I want to trust with giving me information thank you for not being criptic and saving the rest for a paywall I've just gotten a 12 week old female she was left last due to her having a umbilical hernia 😭
SO glad you're back..(well we see you on Kara's channel) but you're back!! LOVE BW for sure...and still miss Winston :((
Kathy
Bruce's soft grumble in the background almost lulled me to sleep. It's relaxing and oddly comforting. ☺️😴
I love that you can hear him breathing. He sounds very happy and relaxed.
Dude you are such a sweet person the way you talk about this dog makes me emotional lol that dog is in such good hands 🥺🥺😩
You are perfect dog owner my friend. You seem like a calm and collected person. I really enjoying watching your videos even though I dont have a dog.
Our 4 year old Cane Corso is great with tiny dogs, grandkids, and friends. He’s a smiler too. He always smiles when he sees us, which makes him sneeze. He’s like the 7th grandkid 😄
that makes me so happy! Sorry it's a year later but I need to know... how much money do I need for a cane corso??
Always love watching your videos Jason, I get my corso December can't wait.
Excellent video, completely agree with everything you said especially how they are almost human seriously amazing breed, the best in my opinion ❤
Love Bruce Wayne and your vids! His looks and mannerisms reminds me so much of our brindle 10yo, Cane Corso, Sophie. The biggest cuddly bear and baby alongside our Shih tzu. So intelligent, loyal, loving, and beautiful. She also makes for a great guard dog, too 😁.
Bruce is a ABSOLUTELY AMAZING looking Corso ...I'll be getting my 1st Corso in about 6wks so keep the vids coming I'll greatly appreciate it 😎
Hey you ever hey you ever get your pup yet?
@@Florida_954 yes I did
Great video, you’re a great owner. I can tell you care well for him and I know he will continue to thrive with you guys. 👍🏽
Really good information and advice, thank you!
I love how you stress socialization. We have a 110-lb male 3 year old american bulldog and he is an angel of a dog all the time, and I swear it's because we socialized him *to no end* for the first 6 months of his life. When it comes down to it - if people are too lazy or busy or tired to socialize their puppy (especially large breed dogs) PLEASE please do not get a dog in the first place.
got my two brothers almost 3 months ago at 8 weeks old. Love the content. Sirius and Apollo. theses two are 100% home protectors. and at 92 and 86 lbs they also make great blankets
Great vid dude.
Hopefully picking up my blue brindle female this week.
You are so great with him and you are both so lucky to have each other🥰 what a beautiful dog 💕
This guy is right! I've done everything what he saying and my cane Corso got joint problem. I've spending £150 a month only for joints issue and dig still suffer. I wish to know this before what I know now .
people put dogs to sleep when they have joints problem this is not fair because them dogs ale most clever dogs in the world.
I get my Kane Corso at the end of April the mom just had a liter of 12 pups I'm getting a male and can't wait. Thanks for posting all the information about this breed Bruce Wayne is a beautiful dog.
I’m going to be getting my Cane Corso soon. I’ve been researching for a while and your videos are helpful! Thank you!
Did you get one yet?
@@ryhaang Not yet, I’m saving up my funds and waiting on the right time 😩☺️
So insightful. Thank you for sharing!
What a beautiful dog. Thanks for the info.
The reason their joints grow so fast before the rest of their bodies is to make the joints strong so they’re able to handle the weight of their bodies.
It’s true that you shouldn’t over exercise, BUT make sure they are getting exercise, like he said with letting them chase butterflies. Also stairs are probably ok if it’s not like 2 flights a day. Good for them to strengthen their joints!
I highly appreciate all your videos. Your Corso is absolutely gorgeous and like the perfect model dog for what I want, great content brother.
Thank u me and my family just got a puppy and my brother keeps running with the little puppy and you saved my puppy from having bad joints in its life
This was so helpful thankyou 👍😊
Great video!! Thank you I learn valuable info from you guys
Thank you for the great information. Amazing, informative video.
Thank you for this video, very informative.. I’ve been researching this breed for a little now, I’ve always wanted a cane corso
Thank you, your advice is good for all kinds of large breeds.
Your more than welcome Julie. I have to keep reminding my wife how much he costs to just feed everytime she says let's get a second. Lol
This video was very informational. Thank you
Great video, thanks for all of your knowledge on the Cane Corso. Love Bruce Wayne I see him on Instagram. ❤️🤗🐾 I too was told not to bring my Corso around people or other dogs until he had all his shots and I did listen and it wasn't good.
What happened? Is yours aggressive towards people?
Thank you so much for sharing these tip for the best way to help raise our corsos
I listened to every word you said but never took my eyes off that beautiful pup ❤
I just got a cane corso puppy. i have been trying to monitor her exercise but she is just so energetic! I turn my back and she's already on the couch. When I can I stop her but sometimes she's just so fast she's already jumped up and off of things before i even know it. I have been reading about the exercise limitations. And I'm so nervous she will cause damage to her joints. She also plays with my other dog (boxer) and jumps and get rambunctious which also has me nervous. I also monitor this and separate them when I feel she is doing too much. I guess I am just trying to walk the line between letting her be a puppy and have fun but also not let her over do it and cause injury. it's not easy!!! But your channel has been very informative and I appreciate the knowledge and experience you have shared.
I just got a cane corso puppy and she is so cute! She like me so much and when I let her alone she cry so loud!Thx for the tips.
I breed English Labradors and I can agree this is fantastic advice for all breeds. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this video,
I would not be a good Cane Corso person
But they are positively beautiful. We need more owners like you in this world
Thank you so much! My baby was born 2 weeks ago, and I can't wait to bring her (BamBam) home to meet her entire family! This video made me want her even more than I already do! Thank you so so much!
I had to be the same way with my Great Dane when he was puppy , He loved being around family couldn’t leave him outside for more than 10 secs , he was the sweetest thing ever , just like Bruce , but I’m thinking about getting a Cane Corso myself . But overall your channel is so dope , and I love your family. 🤘🏿🔥❤️
You can't go wrong with any of the Mastiff family.
Bruce’s behavior tells us that you have a beautiful soul
At 18 months you’re right he has free reign!! That big boy can do whatever he wants to do! And he will! 🥶😳
P.S. LOVE HIS FACE! ♥️♥️♥️
OMG! What a lover. He was an adorable puppy.
I have one, she's a super lovey girl. The only dog that ALL four of my cats have reciprocated affection towards...because she is respectful of their space and gentle when she approaches them. She's definitely a Barker. She's proud of her guarding. She'll bark out the front livingroom window when she see's the neighbors coming home and she'll turn around to make sure that I'm listening to her....direct eye contact and Bam! Her little tail starts wagging. If I ignore her for four minutes, she stops barking and starts whining instead. She responds well to No Maam and Thankyou. She's a full fledged member of the family, so she sleeps on a bed, has her preferred chair in the living room and gets plenty of cuddle time. If cuddle time isn't sufficient, she will get in your face and whine lol....and some ear scratches, forehead rubs, stroking of the nose....is her favorite affection to receive.
Hi mate this is a great vid with loads of good info thx
Thank you bro this helps a lot
Lots of good information thanks for sharing
I've been looking at large and extra large dog breeds to get for a long time but this is the first time I've realized how big these can truly be, look at this head covering so much of this guy's torso.
I get my puppy today this is best video iv watched thanks so much x
Good video Jason, keep it up😎✌🏾
Quick question, my wife is allergic to dog dandruff, do you find it being a problem as far as him shedding alot?
thx for this info! had no idea owners could damage their large dogs this way. my mastiff has early hip dysplasia and hearing the things you discussed as causes this explains his problems. :(
I used to work with someone that had a Great Dane puppy and I would cringe at what she was having it do :(
Hi Jason, I enjoy learning about Cane Corso through your informative videos. It’s such a beautiful majestic breed. Honestly, I wish I could own one however, I live in an apartment in NYC and space is limited. If I had the space, hands down I’d own one. It wouldn’t be fair not to have the play space they need to run and exercise😕. For now, I’ll continue to enjoy watching Cane Corso videos🙂. Thanks Jason!
I started watching your videos, and a ton of dog videos just to keep my mind focused on being a good trainer as I raise my American Straffordshire/ Pitbull Terrier. Whats funny is my puppy looks like your dog, and both of them are named Bruce
I’ve been dealing with the death of my past dog for 4 years now, and I’m just really intimidated and afraid that I may be an incompetent owner. But thanks to you my man I have the motivation!🤙 thanks
Sorry dude 🥺
@@jasoncorey i had to put mine down a few days ago 😪

Thank you the information… it help a lot with are new puppy
super video. explicit information
my dad wants a cane corso. at first i was scared of them biting but now there just little sweet hearts if u train them correctly
Great video and info!
Hi, glad I found your channel, we recently lost our Sheppard, so we are looking for a guardian breed and when I did the comparison, the Cane Corso seems to be a good fit. We live on a 32-acre woodlot at the end of a cul de sac and require a great companion along with a guardian dog. We have had dogs all our lives, with 2 Golden Retrievers, Black Lab, Retriever/Border Collie, and the German Sheppard. All great dogs. I am fully ready to spend at least a year of the dog training me....I like the Cane Corso clipped ears, however, there always seems to be good and bad. Should their ears be clipped due to health and cleaning purposes? Your thoughts would be appreciated. I appreciate your channel for the great advice and love of the breed. Cheers.
I’ve watched videos about this stuff before and to be honest I never really used any of the advice given for my pitbull/lab and she turned out perfectly fine
She’s probably the kindest dog you’ll ever meet.
Sorry dude but a pitbull/lab IS NOT a Cane Corso. Much much much different traits.
We getting a new puppy (cane corso) and I had no idea about this so thanks for telling me! 🤗
Hey man...I`m a reptile/amphibian guy and totally hooked on your videos. Why? Because we both love animals and try to teach. Great job brother
We. Have 2 Cane Corso’s and our youngest grew fast and was slim. We couldn’t cut back on his intake, but he developed Wobblers at 8 months old. He lost all control of his back legs. This is a large breed or if the dogs grows to fast. After an 11hour surgery he is amazing and luckily he is great. Our dogs are so wonderful. They love to be snuggled and loved all day-120lbs and 115lbs. They are such loves He is right -if you train your dog, people you see will be less intimidated and be able to see the mush they are!!!
Thanks😊. I will do a lot of research b4 purchasing.
You just convinced me to get one. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video 🙂
