You're cane corso's are beautiful. Thank You for being loving and caring mummy n daddy to them. I'm currently 1 month into raising a 7 month old french bulldog. I rescued him from a terrible environment, his previous owner never ever walked him, and he was stuck in his crate almost 24/7. Her excuse was she was too busy?? Anyway he's now with a very loving caring owner, and despite his awful first 6 months, he's a sweet beautiful soul and I'm blessed to have him share my life with me.
This is the most beautiful dog breed I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing your fur babies with us. I cannot have a dog at this point in my life, but I will live vicariously through you.
Good advice! I'm on year 19 as a Corso owner. Raised 4, 3 have passed and my current is 2.5 years old. Prior to my 1st Corso I had 25+ years owning Rottweilers. Id like to add a piece of advice...... I call it the what if plan. What if you die? Or if you are unable to care for yourself due to a major life event, such as a horrible car accident where you have long stay in the hospital then recovery. Granted this is extreme but it could happen to anyone. Typically if married one would assume the spouse would continue ownership for the remainder of your dogs life, but what if they can't? What if you're not married? Who is going to take care of your dog if you can no longer. Yes there are rescues but is that what you want ? Its important to take this seriously just as a parent needs to with children. My dog is in my will. I have a set family member who has agreed to take her in if I pass. I have also set amount that the will receive to pay for all her expenses for the rest of her life. I feel this is often overlooked but is so incredibly important.
Amen! I also have a person dedicated to the care of my Corso in my will. I called to different family members and surprisingly it was a friend that committed to their care. You thank family, that loves them would be the choice - BUT most have living arrangements that are not set up for so large a breed or felt they just couldn't do it.
I just love your fur babies. I am too old to have a Corso so I love watching your videos. I love that Bruce is more careful with Kara when she plays with his rope, it seems the stick part is gone lol. He doesn't want to hurt her again. Both of your boys show you guys so much love it's really great to watch. Keep making the videos. God Bless
I agree with EVERY challenge you addressed. One thing that we were not quite prepared for is the drool/slobber. We do have 2 female Corsos and their drool is manageable. Add our male Corso, oh good gosh. The slimy, thick drool this dog produces is next level. Every week I am having to wipe down the walls, baseboards, cabinets, furniture, televisions and even the ceiling. Yes the ceiling. When he shakes his head, you better duck and dodge. Slobber is flying and flinging. We literally have dish towels in every room of our house so we can try to wipe his jowls pre-shake. Thank you for another great video.
Same! So far the foam wall cleaner is the only thing that gets it off my walls easily. Then turn around and it's back. We have stacks of cloths to wipe his mouth but it's so hard to manage.
I am so happy to hear that Bruce is doing better. I love it when you take the boys swimming. Please videotape them the next time that you take them swimming. Have a great Sunday. ❤
Please do that video Jason about missing points / signals. Your channel is really good, nice that you both talked about hierarchy which is really important.
I have had Boxers for the last 20+ years. They were all aquired as adults but I agree with all your points about puppies and adolescents. If more people saw this before getting a dog, we would have a lot fewer animals in shelters. THANK YOU
Thank you so much for all you guys do for this breed. Our 9 month old Archie looks like a twin to your boys. You guys have helped me with training our boy
You guys are so wonderful. My favorite UA-cam family❤ Will always be a thankful fan for all the great insight about raising a Corso and also being wonderful individuals of society ❤
Thank you both for sharing your wealth of knowledge when it comes to raising a cane corso.Everything you've shared will go a long way in helping us raise our cane corso (Nyla) . Bruce Wayne and Justice are beautiful 😍 🤩 I would love to see a video of the things I could be missing and how to be more observant. Thanks again 🫶🏾🫶🏾
Thanks so much for sharing. I enjoy watching yall videos. I had a chow chow and shihTzu. I am now older as well as the kids😜 I know I am not going to get a guard breed bc it’s not fair to them not giving them the best life.
Coddling is the #1 hardest thing for me 😅 I catch myself sometimes babying my boy too much and instantly think "Jason would tell me to quit babying him" 😂😂😂
Love your videos and so glad Bruce Wayne is feeling better. My Cane Corso just turned 12 weeks and I would love to hear what you think is a good amount of exercise. He will train all day if we let him but then he will get overtired and cranky until we make him nap. would love to find the middle ground of not overdoing it but tiring him out. Maybe even a video on some of those oddball in house drills you talked about. Thank you so much for always putting information out about your Corsos. I love mine so much already and I've only had him 3 weeks.
I recently got a Cane corso mix and my gf has a pitbull mix and he’s 10 months and my corso is 3 months and I would love a video on living with 2 or more dogs in the house and learning to have more successes (Also thank you for your information it’s helped me with my puppy soo much :)))
@@jasoncorey He is really nice you guys did such a great job with him and the pup I havent seen a lot of black ones mostly Fawn and Brindle really great breed the Cane Corso such good temperament
We have a 2 yr old cane corso and we are late to the game of getting her trained. When she's in her crate she's very protective but when we have people come over and she's not in her kennel she's alert but hides behind corners and walls and won't come over to socialize with the guests. How can I help her to feel more comfortable around strangers she doesn't know.
I had a pit mixed with bully. I had to get rid of because he didn’t want to take a bath anymore and he was being very aggressive trying to bite me so I got rid of him. And I have a Cane Corso. He noticed that the other dog wasn’t around anymore. He pooped and peed in his cage, which I called his room , so as I was cleaning the trade that is in the cage he kept going back-and-forth. I told him to go lay down, which he did then all of a sudden he got the growling and barking and trying to charge me by me having the holes with hot water to clean what he had pooped on I sprayed him just to keep him away from me. I called my son to let him know what was going on. He told me that I have to stand my ground because you are his master. I told him that it really scared me really bad. He has a Corso, a Doberman, Rockweiler, German Shepherd, and he trained them to the max so please please give me some hints on really trying to train him. He is 11 months now he sweet and adorable, but sometimes the way he looks at me. He scares me since he did that. I had him since he was four months. I gave him the command to sit, lay down, when I take the leash off of them, I say venture out, and he goes to running having a beautiful time I called him back. He comes back, which I do have that training collar on him. I only use the beep not the vibration or the shock. I don’t want to hurt him. I do take him for walks and he love those. I keep him out of his cage because I don’t want to hear his whining and barking, but he wakes me up numerous of times so I can take him for a walk and he loves it. Please help.
Hi Jason, we are getting our cc in about 4 weeks time. I really wanted to ask how I go about purchasing the tactical harness you used in this video on Joey Justice please? Could you pop a link up please?
My corso is a couple of weeks older than JJ. He is an amazing dog. Just a quick question please if I may. He is brilliant with everything apart from when he sees a dog that is close and he will try and bolt towards them. It's the little fluffy ones mainly he is like that with. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks 😊
Well I love your channel first off ! Right now we have 11 cane corsos 2 and a half months old we don't know where to sell them they are beautiful. 2 males the rest females the females are blue with light eyes males are black with some brindle help where do I go from here thank you gail
Our challenge has been to balance b/w making the dog too friendly vs too aloof. Neither is good. Too friendly, people freak out when dog gets excited to meet strangers. Too aloof, people freak out when dog barks at strangers.
I have a puppy, he was taking away we’re early from his mother because his mother passed away and and when I got him, he was constantly biting and he still biting, but he still wag his tail when he bites me, but he bites and I don’t know how to work with him on that phone
99% of people that want one should not do it. Mine takes hours of my time a day 7 days a week. She must have a proper amount of exercise no matter the weather. She must be socialized as much as possible. She must be trained every day on top of this. If this sounds daunting don't get one
I got my Corso at 10 months and 90 lbs. We had two other dogs and a cat. Not knowing this huge dog, I'd rather crate him at night and let the other pets get used to him being in the house while we sleep. Crating means you don't have to worry about what an unknown dog might get into with free run of the house at night. That only lasted a week and then once we knew he was fine and the other pets accepted him, we no longer need to crate him. But, he still has a "place", his bed, that he goes to at night. As long as they know their place and will go to it, it doesn't always have to be a crate.
I understand and agree 100% but I don't understand why HE is still putting them I'm crates at night. I would just like to know if there is a reason behind this. My dogs are free all the time and I'd rather have them free especially at night in case if a break in
You should've said he killed a baby bunny. I was just listening to your video in the background while cleaning the house and when your said Justice killed a baby... I was like wait What? 😮 Gave me a heart attack 😅
Oh so people like you are the problem...Socializing your dog does not mean the dog will lose territorial and protection instinct, it only means that he will be able to tell the difference between situations where there is a threat and where there isn't. You need to have in mind that with this breed that can attack someone out of a sudden and potentially kill them if they're not trained you are also risking losing your dog. When you socialize them it only means that they will not see for example a person running as a threat, a little baby crying or just kids running up to them, groups of people, other dogs walking on a leash etc but if someone does come to your home they will protect you and your home, if someone is a threat outside they will guard you because they will be trained to do so in those situations. So please educate yourself, and don't own dogs.
