I use Critter Control company for animal incursions, but it sounds like you may have to poison the neighbors. I was 13 when my dad took me to a pawn shop and got a black Harmony Montclair archtop. It had a long crack on the back. It was way too big for me, and I'm sure the action was terrible. I played that until my fingers bled. The first songs I learned were "High Heel Sneakers" and Rufus Thomas's "Walking the Dog".
I had a Peavey strat copy with, you guessed it, action about an inch off the fretboard. The really cool thing was, it had a speaker built into the case, 5W i think? I've never seen another like it.
Hey Jake! My cousin had the very same problem with the rats. He went to his lunch call animal shelter and they had a whole collection of feral cats! He brought a couple home and gave them a decent place to live under his porch. The rats disappeared. Some shelters here in Maine have fixed feral cats. Get a couple females. Like lions the females are prolific killers!
@@DBMorris Thank you for the info 🙏. All options are on the table at this point . thought about dragging a halfstack under the house and crank it ! those things are no joke!
Really sorry to hear about the rodents. Can’t imagine what that woman is dealing with in golden years. Good news that you are there pushing for resolution. Good Man.
@ Jack do you have experience with the ashtray cover on a Stratocaster? Thinking about adding one. Really like it in my parts Tele. PS enjoy your videos ✌️
@hankreus7196 I actually do not have a lot of experience with the ashtray cover. I like them too, I would think a guy could possibly change the bridge out on a guitar that accepts the cover etc. I am curious, let me know if you convert yours. I will reciprocate if I do the same.
Jake. I tried to post this solution for you earlier but got removed. Not sure why. Mix flour and quick set drywall compound 50- 50 . keep it in a dry location for serving. Your rat issue will be gone. Google it. Its the ONLY thing that worked for me. Just saying. Good Luck. Lol..
@@tomg.8217 ty so much! I will give it a shot. I got him cornered now! what a trip this has been so far! he messed with the wrong dude! lol. thanks again. Jake
@drivenmad7676 north of bangor, but it's the same old scene. drug infestation along with the rats. it's hard to tell one from the other. I know bangor is full of it too. I hate to even go to bangor anymore. They won't like it if they move beside me. I have no use for them and no tolerance either. it is sad to see people ruin the life they have, but when it starts to ruin my family's life, that is where the sympathy ends. Cops won't do anything, and the town won't either. I will see what my attorney thinks of it, all done playing the game. scumbags! sorry for the rant . Jake
Wish I had it when I was a kid Jake Nice video

@TooLooze Thanks for the info, and that Harmony Montclair sounds like a cool old guitar. I am going to Google a pic of one . thanks again!

@@guitarhoarder1972 I agree 100% Jake. I was born and raised in the western hills. We're fighting the same battle.
