- The NFL Super Bowl is on Sunday and I know a lot of folks are rooting against the Kansas City Chiefs because of two people, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
I am unbothered by their relationship. At first, I was a little skeptical. I thought they were just trolling people and not really serious, but it looks like it’s … something. And considering how so many of y’all say every day on social media that dating is the ghetto … the fact that two people have been able to get something going should be somewhat inspiring.
But I get it. It’s hard to be on board with Killa Trav and Tay Tay … not because of the actual romance .. It’s all the bullsh*t that surrounds the romance.
And f*ck it … that’s the sh*t that bothers me too.

I see where you're coming from, but the writer did a horrible job informing the reader. He could of shown the origin of the popular haircut Travis wears, like the Ebony article Jemele described. The writer was lazy, the Ebony article told about the popular haircut that predominantly worn by black folks by showing the origin came from the military. Proper credit giving vice white washing it. They missed out on a teachable moment.

I had questions too🤔 I thought the score at one point should have been 24 to 7 or 28 to 7 Chiefs but those darn refs didn't give Kelce his obvious first down and took away Rice's touchdown with back to back holding calls. Those refs were really working overtime to keep the Ravens in the game but the Ravens just wouldn't take it. Run Lamar just run are you kidding me you can just run you don't need permission.

Now, suddenly, they get more penalties called in one game than the ENTIRE SEASON?? Nope…not buying it. The Chiefs were committing flagrant pass interference violations, and suddenly, the refs’ hands are broken and are unable to throw a flag.
I, for one, am not bothered by Taylor and Travis’ relationship, I’m bothered by the business decisions and politics profiting from their relationship - I am quite logical and quite aware.

That's not what she said. She is saying the journalist could've simply researched the origin (which she pointed out @ 2:51) was with the military (and they call it a crew cut or a high & tight) ,and provided cultural context that a new iteration of it, the fade grew from Hip-Hop culture. It is not known as the Kelce.
