Going to do this job for free for someone. Even though people are going to see and say that there are way more detailed videos out there, this is perfectly condensed layman's perspective that is completely relatable with a bonus on the ignition switch.
I heard so much about how difficult of a job this is; it was great to see someone go through it. I’m not ready to tackle it, yet, but I’m closer. I was looking at diesel heaters earlier today, just to avoid a giant job where I’m mainly afraid of losing something or getting stuck and fubar’ing the truck.
hello, i have all bolts out, everyone says leave steering wheel in just drop the bottom bolts..i can move right side of dash but not the driver side something is hung up and 3 ft prybar no help...
Great teardown. Helped me alot but the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE caught me by surprise

This one really isn't too bad in my opinion. Just knowing where the bolts come off and what comes out to get to it.

There are bolts behind the steering column in the dash. Check 6:10-40. Pull out the steering column.
How did you take the old core out?
You have to pull back, wiggle and work it upward
But i know in my car this problem
