I’m a 2:36 marathon runner. The ultrafly and vaporfly are just not made for walking around or chilling. Multiple national and European records have been run in the vaporfly, the shoe is very much designed to be sleek fast and efficient at race paces. I know you pointed out that you weren’t wearing the shoes appropriately, but in the end you wouldn’t wear ski boots to shovel your drive way in the winter. There is a lot of zoom x available in more stable wider and more well rounded shoes than opting for a race day shoe to putt around in. All in all it make sense that you didn’t appreciate them as you didn’t use them at all for what they were intended for. Either way youre a rockstar with the reviews. Have always been a fan, but for the people who watch and read, I would never advise buying a marathon race shoe like the adidas pro 3 or alphafly or vaporfly as a daily shoe. Not what they’re for not what they were designed to do.

Just take a look at any of his vids on basketball sneakers or the "squishiest" or "most comfortable" series. You can 100% say that you don't like a performance shoe from a casual perspective. Just because a shoe is designed for one thing doesn't mean that it can't be evaluated in another way. The Jordan 1 was a performance basketball shoe, but is now evaluated as a stylish but uncomfortable shoe that would be horrible on the court. I see other comments about the vaporfly 3's but I have other points to add. Not only are the vaporfly 3's not nearly as durable or cheap as normal walking shoes, but they have a carbon plate! This doesn't just apply to the vaporflys but ALL shoes that have a carbon plate in them, but this could be DANGEROUS for your feet if you walk in them casually. These plates are designed so you get more energy back and your feet don't have to work as hard while running, meaning that your feet will WEAKEN over time if you wear them casually. I would NOT RECOMMEND wearing carbon plated shoes unless you're wearing them in a rotation. Not to mention these shoes are designed to push you forward, which cannot be comfortable.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree in the plated runners as not daily shoes too for the most part, I do rotate so its not the one and ONLY pair I would use. some carbon plates though are not felt as much as other pairs IMO
