I think the big guys have overpriced their sticks so much it has opened the door for the black stick market. In the end I think the big guys are going to lose money because of their greed.
Well said. I don't care how good a stick is I'm not paying 500 for it. I'll compromise a little on performance and let my skills give me an edge if that how it's going to be.
Getting back into hockey and ordered a KYC based on the feedback. Had to go custom due to my size (6’6” and 260lbs), but extremely excited to get this in.
The problem is the factories that make the sticks for the big guns, are now happy to sell the same unbranded( No graphic) stick to Joe Bloggs. That KYC stick will be little more than an Agent without the stickers.
I have 2 kids in hockey and love the stick reviews over the last couple of years. I've found them very helpful. I recently ordered a couple KYC sticks to try out for my kids based on your review. Before ordering one for myself I was wondering if you could review the custom KYC stealth pro mid kick and hybrid models as well as a head to head with their lower priced LT model?
How is your KYC holding up? In your recent Tracer VS videos (including the Twitch video), the Tracer was still your number one stick. I guess my real question is.. at this point in time weeks later, is your go to game stick the KYC or the Tracer?
Sure its cheap, but can you get them in the UK? Order it from Canada and its $130 Canadian shipping so totaling £215 granted, still cheaper than the big boys but not by as much as you might think. Unless we get a UK stockist.
They’re working on worldwide shipping. International shipping wasn’t something they planned on doing so early but clearly there is demand. Reach out to them and see what’s possible
I have the 330 gram and 350 gram versions of their Stryker and Vanquish. Great sticks. Best out of all of the "off brand" sticks I've tried. And WAY better than any of the big brands in those price points.
I live in Canada, and shipping is $35 CAD. Even with a 10% discount, it costs $331.50 after tax and shipping. Yes it's custom, but the total cost ends up being much more than expected.
Can you guys provide some transparency here? Were you paid by this company to review this stick? There’s dozens of blackout stick companies now with these types of offerings and it’s all the same stuff. Are they decent value offerings? Sure. But to suggest this stick is better than the tracer is insane. The graphic is better than the tracer? Yeah right, that’s one of the worst looking sticks I’ve ever seen. None of these small companies have anywhere near the R&D any of the big brands have. Notice how none of them promote their stick technology, just that they have an affordable light weight stick. They all partner with a Chinese factory to push these sticks out. How is it a Bauer and CCM can get out manufactured by a tiny company? There’s no way. I’m tired of UA-camrs trying to get us players to buy this crap with claims it’s just as good as the best stick on the market. Before it was gimmick sticks like the Colt, Tovi, Elevate, now it’s lesser quality knockoffs. Why has it taken major brands years to get a stick down to these type of weights? Because they actually care about durability and have to have the tech to support a light weight stick that can be strong enough to withstand the game.
I feel like this is a dumb comparison especially when he keeps talking about the tracer blade “going soft” when it’s a nexus so it has soft blade like most mid-kicks on the market do and Bauer literally markets it as a stick with a soft blade. And comparing it to a low-kick which always have stiff blades doesn’t make sense
Is it just me, or is every new stick reviewed, "the best stick I've ever tried"?
I went with the QR6 pro cause of the hype and I fuckin hate it
@@UA-camsuckz976same here.
@@UA-camsuckz976atleast it has some durability unlike bauer sticks
@@sfdf6054 my qr6 pro blade became hollow after 4 sessions... went back to hyperlite2
That’s the point of new sticks it’s supposed to be the best

Fair point !
Taped up my Vapor XXXX today! Miss seeing the Swoosh.
I’ve had my Tracer for about 3 months and I have no durability issues
Keep us posted lol

I custom ordered a KYC stealth back in October, was told up to 60 days, but still nothing. Very little communication as well
What is the stock stick height on it?
the guys trying everything they can to not use a bauer stick 🤣🤣🤣
What was the flex tried on the KYC? Did you go with the 75 or go custom to get lower (if I remember correctly, you prefer sub 70)?
After watching this video again where does Tommy compare the KYC to the Barrel reviewed previously?

Update: Both my kids love their Stealth Pro sticks. Noticeable upgrade from my daughters CCM Ribcore. My son prefers it over the CCM Ghost.

My buddy is the guy who made KYC
Feel like this stick is a Bauer ag5nt. Sames specs. Probably same durability issues. VS it against the ag5nt to see if it's different.
Pleas review the Marsblade i2 holders
I love mine soo much that I have an extra set waiting for when I have to replace my skates.
If we can get them. We shall ! Thanks for the suggestion !

Pointless going on about how cheap it is when you have to factor in the shipping costs to the UK 😂
The UK will have stock here soon. Our audience isn’t the UK. It’s North America. UK makes up less than 4% of our subscribers.
