For those who see this later and wonder how fast PS5 is, it's been timed to lose around 35 seconds to BCPS3. It's still very fast though, and certainly faster than any PS2. So for those reading this comment who have a PS5 and are hesitant to start running this game because of BCPS3, just start running on PS5! It's fast and has a great rewind feature for practice! Start running! Please!
Been a long time since I recreationally speed ran sly. Some of this tricks are new to me such as the Paris intro skip. My jaw dropped when I seen it. I could never of guessed it would have been cut down more.
Man, I always feel like "nag, the only mountain left is a world 3 skip. And that's probably not even possible." And then someone finds sonething like opening proxy.
I actually completed Sly 1 yesterday at 100% with all the trophies and then I saw this video and these shortcuts, so funny, I tried to play through the game normally though, I looked at everything that was possible but still these shortcuts are insane, especially at minute 7:10 I tried that too but I never got that far lol.🎉
Given the ps5 is more powerful I’d assume the input delay will be lower. Even tho the game is being played at 60fps, but the cpu and gpu are running much higher than what ps3 &2 do.
