I really miss painting.
I miss the smell of colors and being smeared with them,This video made me cry a little because painting was my identity and it was what I was good at and what I enjoy, It was where I found myself. I stopped painting for a year because I was busy studying in order to go to university. I will finish my exams in 3 weeks and I hope to go back to painting again because I feel like I lost it for the sake of university.

@@mabyonedayicanbehappy oil colors have a strong smell of oils, and their smell varies depending on the brand. When I used to using them, I opened the window of my room in to not suffocate because of the smell even acrylic colors have a strong and distinctive smell

I'm crying while writing this. Thank you so much Jimena, I really needed to watch this as I was trying to paint in my so limited time because of work and life. This gave me a lot of courage and joy and reminded me why I was painting in the first place. Right now in my life I'm working as an engineer but never felt like one, my soul belongs to this beautiful unknown lands. They're always calling for me. Maybe one day if everything will align, I will become a full time artist but for now I will just keep paint and paint towards that dream 🤍

This video is so unspeakably beautiful, your paintings are just breathtaking, they're so dreamy and gorgeous. It really inspires me to pick up a paintbrush and create something beautiful, you're talent is amazing.
And your setup in your studio - everything is laid out so beautifully, it's such an aesthetically pleasing area, the lighting is soooo beautiful. And omg the way you handpackage all of your orders, you do it so wonderfully.
Also the music took me right back to call me by your name and I was reminded of that heartache all over again

Thank you so much for this! Seeing the title of this video has me in tears, and of course, seeing the video does too. My grandfather was an artist, and he got me into art at a very young age. He was my everything. He passed five years ago, and I still struggle. Yesterday, I painted for the first time in two months, because of my mental health. I realized that painting is the best thing for my mental health. And this video was a great reminder for me, because my grandfather’s last words to me were, “Just keep painting.”

This is my first video I've found of you Jimena. My dream one day is to quite my 9-5 and start my own art business just like this. However, for now, I haven't because I'm too scared of leaving the job security and fear of the unknown/if I can hack it as a professional. Your business model and approach is spot on and influential. Everything you do in this video has an artistic touch to it. I tend to watch more of your videos to learn, not only new painting techniques, but business techniques as well.
