This song was playing on my phone as the airplane pulled away from the gate in New Orleans in 2017. It was my first time ever on a plane! My destination was Tampa, Florida. You see, I had just been diagnosed with Thyroid cancer for the 2nd time in less than 3 years. There was a doctor in Tampa that took my case. My life saving surgery/treatment did not come without complications BUT it was this song and “Oh My Soul” by Casting Crowns that reminded me at my lowest points, He was still on the throne above all else. I still get chills when I hear this song!

I'm a huge fan of all types of music and I'm a singer, I love Mandisa, she's amazing, I went to a concert to see her and she was opening for Casting Crowns. I suffer from a fatal lung disease and decided to go see a show at red rocks amphitheater in Denver Colorado to check off my bucket list. I'd heard how beautiful it was, I didn't think about seating because most places have elevators, the have ramps to lower seating, but that's it. We had to climb down to our seats, knowing we have to get back up then. I heard this song for the first time that night, and I fell in love, I sat there in tears, knowing God had me right where I needed to be. It was a struggle, but I made it out of there and I felt so strong, but with his power. Mark, the lead singer was going through his own cancer scare when he wrote it. Was refreshing watching you get blessed by it. Keep it up.

In all honesty I didn't actually care for this song when I 1st heard it back when it came out, but for whatever reason it kept on mixing itself in to my playlists and after the 4th or 5th time I heard it I finally understood the message, and it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard, there is power in songs like this because they are inspired by the Lord, and are therefore sung for the Lord. When you have the Holy spirit flowing through you, music like this, strikes a different cord within us, it's truth and sincerity, and it's love unmatched, and more importantly it's love, unconditional! I hung on to this song as my grandson was dying of a fatal genetic disease. He passed away over a month ago. I still cling to the Father. It wasn't His will to heal my grandson, but He is still God, He is still on the throne, and He is still good.

The first time I heard this song I was driving to work and I received a call that my Sister-in-law's brain cancer returned. She was in remission for 10 months, we had just finished celebrating the Holidays and her health. That day i got the call, i had to pull over and cry, after a while i was able to drive again, i turned on the radio Way-FM station and this song came on. I had to pull over again....I was in tears...this song is so emotional for me. i'm glad you liked it its a powerful song.

I did a Bible study that lead me to pray to God on these problems and that no matter what happens, I love you God, and I put my trust in you... The first time I heard this song was at their concert at Great Adventure in NJ. They had the words on the screen and Billy's reaction was mine, but with tears. By the end I was "ugly-crying", this song broke me and healed me at the same time. God is so good!
this song got me through a dark and frightening time. I had a series of infections in my feet that required several operations. There was no guarantee that I would still have feet . I heard this song randomly one morning. I was listening to my usual radio station while making a 2 hour drive to a job. The station randomly changed to a Christian station without me really realizing. I was really going through something in my life. I immediately looked it up on UA-cam and played it back to back for the last 45 minutes of my drive. It still brings me to tears every time.

I work where I pray for people 5 days a week. And there have been many of days to where I have went through my own personal trials and had to go to work to pray for other people that are hurting as well . And the part where he says night after night I stand on the stage to remind the broken that it will be alright. I love the story of Horatio Spafford. He lost almost everything in the Chicago fire. His very young son died as well (I don't know if he died before or after the fire). He decided that he and his family would visit family in England. He sent his wife and 4 daughters ahead and he would join them later. He found out the ship had sunk. He received a telegraph from his wife that said, "I alone survived." As he was crossing the ocean to get her, he wrote the lyrics to "It Is Well" as the ship crossed near where the other ship sank. That is faith!!
Almost 3 years ago I was facing my 2nd lower spine surgery at 40 years old. I spent alot of time saying what if something goes wrong? What if the surgeon has a bad day and I cant walk out of the operating room? I came across this song and It became my anthem for the surgery. Instead of "what if" it became "even if." Even if i cant walk after the surgery GOD still had a plan for me. It wasn't my job to worry, it was my job to trust. I was able to walk and I am able to live like it never happened.
The original song "it is well with my soul" where some of the Lyrics were inspired from was written By Horatio Spafford who had gone through financial ruin due to the great Chicago fire and afterward his family had sailed to help D.L. Moody to help in his Evangelical Campaign while he was delayed in Chicago he got a Letter from his wife who survived the sinking of the ship she and their 4 daughters were on, however their 4 daughters all died on the ship going down. When he finally got on a boat to meet with his wife as he passed the wreckage where his daughters had died he was also inspired with the words "it is well with my soul" and later wrote the beautiful song it is today.
I remember when I came to this realization during a very rough time in my life, it was one of those defining moments. Awesome song, I love most of Mercy Me's songs. This is my first time finding you, I enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

Bart the lead singer testified the inspiriation behind this song and many others of their each one had a personal significance behind: I can only imagine was wrote after his dad passed, finally home was wrote for his dad as well, the hurt and the healer after his cousin he was close to passed, bring the rain after his son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, home sick after his brother in law and others they were close to passed. They keep it personal and minister to others and themselves as well.
Without going into details, let me say that something really bad, was set in motion early this year, or rather last year, but I finally excepted that it was going to happen early this year. For about two months, I was really depressed, grieving the loss, and during that time, this was one of the songs that got me through it. There’s nothing like being in the world of hurt and singing, or listening to “I know the sorrow, and I know the hurt could all go away if you just say the word.” It became my prayer when I was two depressed to pray.
So many times I've been down and I've either listened to bright christian music or talked to God, and the sun shined bright through my windows too and whatever was bothering me, was turned into joy. All he has to do is say the word!

I'm a huge fan of all types of music and I'm a singer, I love Mandisa, she's amazing, I went to a concert to see her and she was opening for Casting Crowns. I suffer from a fatal lung disease and decided to go see a show at red rocks amphitheater in Denver Colorado to check off my bucket list. I'd heard how beautiful it was, I didn't think about seating because most places have elevators, the have ramps to lower seating, but that's it. We had to climb down to our seats, knowing we have to get back up then. I heard this song for the first time that night, and I fell in love, I sat there in tears, knowing God had me right where I needed to be. It was a struggle, but I made it out of there and I felt so strong, but with his power. Mark, the lead singer was going through his own cancer scare when he wrote it. Was refreshing watching you get blessed by it. Keep it up.

In all honesty I didn't actually care for this song when I 1st heard it back when it came out, but for whatever reason it kept on mixing itself in to my playlists and after the 4th or 5th time I heard it I finally understood the message, and it was the most beautiful song I had ever heard, there is power in songs like this because they are inspired by the Lord, and are therefore sung for the Lord. When you have the Holy spirit flowing through you, music like this, strikes a different cord within us, it's truth and sincerity, and it's love unmatched, and more importantly it's love, unconditional!

I hung on to this song as my grandson was dying of a fatal genetic disease. He passed away over a month ago. I still cling to the Father. It wasn't His will to heal my grandson, but He is still God, He is still on the throne, and He is still good.

The first time I heard this song I was driving to work and I received a call that my Sister-in-law's brain cancer returned. She was in remission for 10 months, we had just finished celebrating the Holidays and her health. That day i got the call, i had to pull over and cry, after a while i was able to drive again, i turned on the radio Way-FM station and this song came on. I had to pull over again....I was in tears...this song is so emotional for me.

I listened to this song shortly after my faith had been fully restored and other parts of my life were falling apart... God is so Good! I did a Bible study that lead me to pray to God on these problems and that no matter what happens, I love you God, and I put my trust in you... God was so gracious that when all my hope was lost, He restored it and my groans! Praise God in all things! Amen!
Mercy Me sings a song that was my grandmother's favorite the year they came out with I can only imagine was the same year my grandmother died in December and it was her favorite song and I left town after she died and I couldn't figure out that song for everything it was about 10 years later and it just hit me all of a sudden and I just broke down and cried because now I can finally hear my grandmother's favorite song again and I will tell my UA-cam playlist so I hear it every day at work

The first time I heard this song was at their concert at Great Adventure in NJ. They had the words on the screen and Billy's reaction was mine, but with tears. By the end I was "ugly-crying", this song broke me and healed me at the same time. God is so good!
this song got me through a dark and frightening time. I had a series of infections in my feet that required several operations. There was no guarantee that I would still have feet . Thanks to God the doctors were able to save them. the power of this song is incredible. Thanks to MercyMe and to you Billy. Great reaction. God Bless. I heard this song randomly one morning. I was listening to my usual radio station while making a 2 hour drive to a job. The station randomly changed to a Christian station without me really realizing. I was really going through something in my life. I immediately looked it up on UA-cam and played it back to back for the last 45 minutes of my drive. It still brings me to tears every time.

I work where I pray for people 5 days a week. And there have been many of days to where I have went through my own personal trials and had to go to work to pray for other people that are hurting as well . And the part where he says night after night I stand on the stage to remind the broken that it will be alright. I have to fill that space & say day after day I sit at this desk reminding the broken that they will be alright . EVEN when I am facing my own battles . TO know that as long as I am denying myself . This song hits home so much. There comes a time where we need to let go and not be that strong one because we too have our own hurt that must be attended to. Its easy to put on the strong mode but it hard to let it go and let others see us in our real shelf. Let go and be healed. Confessing to others is the beginning of your turn around. I love the story of Horatio Spafford. He lost almost everything in the Chicago fire. His very young son died as well (I don't know if he died before or after the fire). He decided that he and his family would visit family in England. He sent his wife and 4 daughters ahead and he would join them later. He found out the ship had sunk. He received a telegraph from his wife that said, "I alone survived." As he was crossing the ocean to get her, he wrote the lyrics to "It Is Well" as the ship crossed near where the other ship sank. That is faith!!

Almost 3 years ago I was facing my 2nd lower spine surgery at 40 years old. I spent alot of time saying what if something goes wrong? What if the surgeon has a bad day and I cant walk out of the operating room? I came across this song and It became my anthem for the surgery. Instead of "what if" it became "even if." Even if i cant walk after the surgery GOD still had a plan for me. It wasn't my job to worry, it was my job to trust. I was able to walk and I am able to live like it never happened.
The original song "it is well with my soul" where some of the Lyrics were inspired from was written By Horatio Spafford who had gone through financial ruin due to the great Chicago fire and afterward his family had sailed to help D.L. Moody to help in his Evangelical Campaign while he was delayed in Chicago he got a Letter from his wife who survived the sinking of the ship she and their 4 daughters were on, however their 4 daughters all died on the ship going down. When he finally got on a boat to meet with his wife as he passed the wreckage where his daughters had died he was also inspired with the words "it is well with my soul" and later wrote the beautiful song it is today.

CANNOT go wrong with mercyme they're one of the best. Bart the lead singer testified the inspiriation behind this song and many others of their each one had a personal significance behind: I can only imagine was wrote after his dad passed, finally home was wrote for his dad as well, the hurt and the healer after his cousin he was close to passed, bring the rain after his son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, home sick after his brother in law and others they were close to passed. They keep it personal and minister to others and themselves as well.

Without going into details, let me say that something really bad, was set in motion early this year, or rather last year, but I finally excepted that it was going to happen early this year. For about two months, I was really depressed, grieving the loss, and during that time, this was one of the songs that got me through it. There’s nothing like being in the world of hurt and singing, or listening to “I know the sorrow, and I know the hurt could all go away if you just say the word.” It became my prayer when I was two depressed to pray.
