Cadets React to Selection of CAPT Mark Black as FUMA’s 12th President

Chair of the Board of Trustees, Paige Lester Pruett, tells the Corps of Cadets that CAPT Mark Black, a current well-respected teacher and coach, has been selected to be Fork Union’s next President. Their response to this news is exuberant and overwhelmingly positive.
Transcript:
"One of the most important functions of the Board, if not the most important, is to select the President of the Academy. To find someone who each of you can respect and admire. A man of faith, a man of intelligence and vision, a man who can balance looking forward in a changing world while holding fast to our traditional values.
"It takes someone who knows what each of you are capable of, and who, like the faculty and staff, is dedicated to helping increase that full potential. In the Academy's 125 years, there have only been 11 men who were tapped to fill that role.
"Today, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the 12th man who has been selected for the role as President of Fork Union Military Academy: CAPT Mark Black."
