    Just picked one up for $18 with a coupon to do house painting. I have a Wagner 2000 which works great, but started to sputter badly mid way though my project and I don't have time right now to fix it. I was hesitant to buy it since it was piston driven like the old piece of crap wagner sprayers that never worked. After thinning out the paint, I was really impressed how well it worked. Had zero issues painting multiple walls quickly and easily. Only complaints are that you get alot of overspray and the paint tank could be bigger.

      It still amazes me that this Krause Becker sprayer works as well as it does. Mine is still going strong!

    I painted my wood fence and house with it. Worked great for 20 bucks

      I have one exterior wall that needs painted and I'm going to use this bad boy to do it with! Thanks for the comment!

    Bought one and it worked great. The only things I didn't like was the lack of technical answers to questions. I used oil base lube for oil based paint and veg oil for water based paint! No problem with that so far. I used the extension as it kept me and the gun further away from the overspray, back spraying, and didn't have to clean up as much on me or the gun. Wished the pickup tube was able to follow the paint when gun is angled with a nearly empty cup. Basically for what it is, an inexpensive paint sprayer, a very good gun.

      Would this work with pre catalyzed lacquer? And what size tip to use? Thanks.

    • @magicone9327
      @magicone9327 4 роки тому +1

      J C I would see no problem with spraying a catalyzed lacquer. I have not sprayed lacquer but would think that the smallest tip would work OK. I am sure the large tip would spray noticeable droplets since it almost does that with latex.

    Wouldn't of guessed it, always wondered about the airless sprayer from HF

      Me too. So when I saw they had it on sale for $14.99, I grabbed one to try out. I think it will be great for staining wood.

    That 6" Black line is the"flex" attachment. Supposedly for ceilings my friend. However...i couldnt get it to work at all. I mean not a drop of paint once it was attached.

      Did you remove the spay nozzle and inspect the opening of the extension tube and nozzle or use one of the other nozzles? Or did you get it to function?

      These Chinese made items are not cleaned from much of the manufacturing process so it doesn't take much to plug off a spray tip. Plastic shaving from the milling of a part that covered the spray nozzle is very conceivable.

      At the time I bought the Krause Becker Sprayer from Harbor Freight, I had a coupon. That was a few years ago, I'm sure they've went up. I think if you're a member of their buyers club, you get good discounts also.

    Did not like its performance when painting on the flat, like in this video, if the gun isn't 90° to the surface it loads heavier nearest the gun. All in all it didn't do to bad.

    • @BlueCollarDIY

      True. In later use, I started hanging the doors or whatever I was painting.
