This opening really highlights the depression Asta has yet tries to hide. To quote him, he wasn't blessed with magic but he was blessed with great friends. The Black Bulls are really the only people he has to complete that empty part of his life but even with his family by his side, he still gets down a lot. When Asta screams he isn't just yelling to everyone who doesn't wanna hear it, he's yelling to himself because deep down, he knows he might as well just give up. Which is why that last shot of the ED showcased him talking to himself. If you re-read BC you can actually see many depression symptoms the kid has and frankly it's quite sad.

This opening actually foreshadowed so many things such as Liebe in his normal form, Liebe’s hand at the front from when he did a deal with Asta.. and with the whole Yami situation
This is now my favorite BC ed(maybe even more than my favorite openings of the series) since it shows the depression and inner demons (literally)that Asta has and even seems to foreshadow the next arc in the manga. Also the music makes it even more emotional
The devil seems to be shapeshifting into Asta's friends. Also, remember when the devil told Asta that he is just like him? Might have to do with that last scene where he changeshifts into Asta himself.
Something telling me that pull a spectacular spider man reference the devil will tried to manipulate asta saying that he doesn't need anyone but him and show him his future that the clover king dom will betrayed him and he killed everyone he care and loved
The demon is just waiting there until Asta becomes more powerful, he wants Asta to become powerful in order to take on his body and do what he want to do. I'm sure in the future when Asta is "ready" for the demon, he will try to break his will, consuming him from the core, but that still needs to be written, so who knows.
@@rockstepguy3524 I agree on that and maybe that are going to be a cause that when asta turns black form that he can't changed back to his regular self
What if this is the shit Asta sees every time he sleeps. He dreams of the demon inside of him, constantly toying with this turning into his friends trying to tell Asta that he would of never met any of his friends without him, because the demon is the reason why Asta has his anti magic. The demon reminds Asta that he is nothing without his demon, reminding him of the days were he got made fun of for having no magic, training as hard as he could just for nothing. And in the end he turns into Asta showing that Asta is a demon, which is the reason why he can't use magic. The demon is basically trying to get Asta all depressed, telling him he would have achieved nothing without his demon. In the end trying to get Asta to completely turn over and let the demon control him. But in the very end Yuno comes, trying to remind Asta about how much help he was towards Yuno's development as a child. Telling him that they are rivals fighting to be the wizard king, but it's sadly not working. Which just shows the pain Asta is going through is way greater than anything. Asta helps almost everyone around him, reaching out to them and getting them out of the darkness, just like Yuno and Noell. But no one can understand what Asta is going through, unable to reach out to Asta. "The one that is the most positive, is the most negative in the inside" Asta can't hold in his pain anymore, he acts like he moved on but in reality he never could forget those hurtful times.
The ending is so scary it’s like it’s saying asta’s gonna kill ever black bull and then attempt to kill him self but the devil uses that brief lower of his will power to take over and asta tries to fight it but fails leading to the devil having full control and only yuno left to stop the devil possessed asta
All these comments really got me thinking more about this man and what state of being he might be in. I started liking this ending a lot more after episode 115, the most recent one. Even in the manga, this wouldn’t make quite sense yet but I’m excited Bc he could really be going through something in this next arc
It is showing the people close to Asta (or the ones that care about him), it did show the Demon tho so yeah maybe he is close to(or cares about) Asta , Interesting , even tho i have read the manga! I don't understand it well! Edit: OMG thanks for the Likes!
Man, this ending... Asta's low self-esteem is eating away at him, because he wouldn't be where he is now without that 5-leaf Grimoire. And his demon knows that.
I feel like there will come a point where Asta will have to choose between giving up his Grimoire to save his friends or let the devil consume him with power but become a monster that threatens the whole world. If he gives up his Grimoire, he will be powerless once again and will the Black Bulls and everyone he has come to cherish accept him like that?
Xani and Loli The black bulls, Yuno and Asta’s friends would still accept him but he wouldn’t be able to become WK since all he would have after giving up the grimore would be his physical strength and if he didn’t have that grimore then he would have failed the magic knights entrance exam and he probably would have been sent back to hage
@@romanoutlaw6554Yeah that's very true. Although the thought of giving up his Grimiour would probably ruin Asta, but he'd be doing it for the greater good so that the devil can't take over & destroy the Clover Kingdom. The sacrifice of that is he wouldn't be able to fight higher ranked enemies & compete with Yuno or the other magic knights aiming to become the Wizard King. His dream would be over 😢😭 Either option would end in despair which is the sad reality of having the 5 leaf grimiour.
On the outside he is a loudmouth, but on the inside he is pretty depressed, he just learned how to deal with his pretty bad life and be positive. No wonder he cried for the first time in the series when he realized someone cares about him outside of his family at church.
Imagine nearly *EVERYONE* telling you that you can't do something you really want to do. And just when you start to truly believe it, a group of people who society also said that they *CAN'T* be something or someone, tell you that you *can.* That probably means the world to Asta, and it kind hits home in real life, too. He's found people who believe in him after years of being around people who care about him, but don't have faith in him. Even back at the orphanage, as kind as everyone was to him at the time, the only person who truly believed that he could acheive his dream is the one competing with him for it, the one who has the most advantages to succeed in it, advantages that Asta lacks. Yuno. Maybe that's why BC endears me so, because it poses this theme: Can someone with no power at all...become powerful?
Everyone who thinks Asta was too positive when he was told that he can't use his arms anymore, should search for the Kübler-Ross model. It reflects how people cope with grief and the first stage of it is denial. It is really interesting how Tabata uses real life studies and Astas reaction isn't weak but human. If a doctor told you that you can't use your arms anymore for the rest of your life, even though you need them to achieve your dream, you wouldn't believe him at first either.
Well I be sad not only to rely on a power that not mine but demon power and having no mana would broke my mental state while everyone else have mana but am different and it clear asta is suffering inside he doesn't want to show it. Asta have already said that I wasn't blessed with magic and that always frustrated me but I sure was blessed with amazing friends that statement is from someone hurting inside.
My interpretation of this ending is that the demon is simply trying to engage with Asta, but Asta won't even look at it, even when it takes the shape of his friends. Asta doesn't like to aknowledge his own misfortune, which makes me wonder if he's been dealing with this the entire time.
Imagine if Asta took the edgy traitor path, while Yuno takes the "you're my friend" path and tries to bring him back. That would be hilarious and revolutionary.
Im.if you are a anime only get the fuck out of this reply.cuz im about to talk about manga. I think the flower the devil puts in front of asta is kinda like the deal he offered him.the flower(the deal for the arm) and then the flower dissappear with the devil means that asta's arm is probably the devil's now. Also yami is the first one to appear in front of asta and asta is fighting with yami and he said that its important for him to keep yami's trust.then we see all see the black bulls which asta care about and in the chapter he said he need to protect the people he love first before even becoming a wizard king.
@@demondecapitator5272 you are probably right. Imagine each of the black bulls or people that Asta cares represents a body part he going to sacrifice in the future
i really love this ending because it shows how vulnerable Asta could be. It looks like the demon is going to be messing with Asta's emotions by using his friends against him. It really gets the feels going. I also really liked the opening before this one, where he is chasing after Yuno without giving up.

Best Ending of Black Clover
Simply beautiful.
I likes that the demon is trying to slowly convince Asta to give in to the temptation of do things wrong and not caring for everyone else, so eventually he can control him.

Probably the case with inhabitants and warriors of the Spade Kingdom, a.k.a The Kingdom of Evil Spirits.
Oof did u read chapter 260 yet?

Anime onlys: Dude this has spoilers only manga readers will understand
Manga readers: We even dont know dafq is happening

*leaks for new bc chapter come out*
Manga readers: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE FORESHADOWING
But srsly doe for Tabata to have the anime team foreshadow something that not even the manga readers understood is sick af
I don’t think this ending is for “that” but more for what could happen after the actual Arc

Wow, the music fits perfectly Astas scream. My favorite Part 👍
This opening actually foreshadowed so many things such as Liebe in his normal form, Liebe’s hand at the front from when he did a deal with Asta.. and with the whole Yami situation
Meilleur ending perso ... C’est tellement profond
This is now my favorite BC ed(maybe even more than my favorite openings of the series) since it shows the depression and inner demons (literally)that Asta has and even seems to foreshadow the next arc in the manga. Also the music makes it even more emotional
Why does this give me the feels!
I’m really glad that I gave this anime a real chance because Although he screams a lot I really love my boy Asta. He has surprising depth haha.
im sad now

Yet another good ending...
Asta if he was a depressed millenial
@@rebbyking2823 Yeah in this arc he will be a bit depressed
Now this ending means something if you know what happens in 1:00
The devil seems to be shapeshifting into Asta's friends.
No, because we see Yuno at the end. The devil is just the devil.
or maybe Asta IS the AMD
Such a beautiful ending but also very sad and dark, this anime is something else.
I was so confused when I first watched this cause I read the mange but now I think they're foreshadowing Asta being consumed by the demon
or the depression
Both
What if this is the shit Asta sees every time he sleeps.
Her voice is so beautiful bro I keep coming back to this
0:05 yo it’s Dave he’s behind Asta.
Who?
Lol
The ending is so scary it’s like it’s saying asta’s gonna kill ever black bull and then attempt to kill him self but the devil uses that brief lower of his will power to take over and asta tries to fight it but fails leading to the devil having full control and only yuno left to stop the devil possessed asta
you damn right
Bruh that’s like lumiere and licht all over again holy shit
All these comments really got me thinking more about this man and what state of being he might be in. I started liking this ending a lot more after episode 115, the most recent one. Even in the manga, this wouldn’t make quite sense yet but I’m excited Bc he could really be going through something in this next arc
this ending is so satisfying and sad tune
This was two years ago damn 😢
It is showing the people close to Asta (or the ones that care about him), it did show the Demon tho so yeah maybe he is close to(or cares about) Asta , Interesting , even tho i have read the manga! I don't understand it well!
Edit: OMG thanks for the Likes!
Spoiler:
The demon literally said: "I've been closer to you than anyone".
@@Empty_Blank ikr forgot to mention it here
Schwarzer Punkt will to be fair he was inside Asta‘s grimoire
@@sephrot6830 technically right but there are still people who would complain about the fact
@@Empty_Blank wow. Deep
His dream would be over 😢😭
Either option would end in despair which is the sad reality of having the 5 leaf grimiour.
Holy shit, even I felt bad for Asta in this end and he's one of the most annoying/energetic jump characters, it's so sad to see him like this
On the outside he is a loudmouth, but on the inside he is pretty depressed, he just learned how to deal with his pretty bad life and be positive. No wonder he cried for the first time in the series when he realized someone cares about him outside of his family at church.
Imagine nearly *EVERYONE* telling you that you can't do something you really want to do. And just when you start to truly believe it, a group of people who society also said that they *CAN'T* be something or someone, tell you that you *can.*
That probably means the world to Asta, and it kind hits home in real life, too.
@@rebbyking2823 damn. Didn't know asta was such a deep complex character.
Arthur Goes but he’s always in pain
We were born in the right era❤
1:25 Yuno turning his head like Beavis and Butt-Head animation.
Yuno just comes in the end like “the f**ks up with you”
Demon just gave him a sword as the sign like "come on, try to fight with your fears, you will fall in despair after all"
1 year later this ending is hitting way too deep with the manga leaks.
I think this was foreshadowing chapter 258 after seeing the leaked scans
Holy shit I have chills. this ending is so deep it's scary. It's actually eerie and sends fear down your spine
Coming here after knowing what is going to happen in chapter 266.
The new ending is beautiful i legit cried a little 😢
If you've read the latest chapter of the manga this makes SOO MUCH sense now!!!

You read the manga
Christopher Clavel good explain to me I am a manga reader but WTF is happening
Ok now I get it
I feel like eventually Asta will lose himself and yuno might have to save him in a future arc not even in the manga yet
Imagine if Asta took the edgy traitor path, while Yuno takes the "you're my friend" path and tries to bring him back. That would be hilarious and revolutionary.
No another demon will c....
i would loce that to happen. i like asta, and that would be a perfect oportunity for him for developing

Who is here after chapter 258?
Im.if you are a anime only get the fuck out of this reply.cuz im about to talk about manga.
I think the flower the devil puts in front of asta is kinda like the deal he offered him.the flower(the deal for the arm) and then the flower dissappear with the devil means that asta's arm is probably the devil's now. Also yami is the first one to appear in front of asta and asta is fighting with yami and he said that its important for him to keep yami's trust.then we see all see the black bulls which asta care about and in the chapter he said he need to protect the people he love first before even becoming a wizard king.
What about chapter 260
@@demondecapitator5272 you are probably right. Imagine each of the black bulls or people that Asta cares represents a body part he going to sacrifice in the future
@@Asterion437 yeah chapter 260 is on fire bro!! More when the demon tells Asta that he is weak.

I really resonate with this ending
0:57 onwards is hard hitting
Just finished rewatching black clover
I think the demon is telling Asta that one day he'll take control of his body and he'll destroy everyone he cares about.
I knew this ending was gonna be like Aot season 3’s ending where it foreshadows something that happens even before the manga gets to that point
i really love this ending because it shows how vulnerable Asta could be. It looks like the demon is going to be messing with Asta's emotions by using his friends against him. It really gets the feels going. I also really liked the opening before this one, where he is chasing after Yuno without giving up.
0:02 i can’t be the only one who heard her say nigga

Asta: yeah lemme keep it
Anti-magic demon: Fuck this flower
I like this Ed because now maybe we’ll be more likely to see this type of stuff happen in the manga
All right, Astas demon tempting with a flower, all the black bulls talking to Asta and then Asta talking to himself...? With slits as pupils (just as black Astas right eye btw)... and then he morphs into the demon and tries to eat... Asta? What the hell?
