Thank you. First time we are aware that an 8 lane highway will be built on the East Bank side complete with a roundabout. Something to look forward to.
It is a serious company on an important project, it must give the workers their work equipment free of charge, here it sells the workers safety boots and whatever they need to work.
@@guyanaplaces592, you gotta to gullible or simply stupid. The ppp has brain wash you 😢 even a one day old baby could see this bridge is not 80% complete 😅
They pay a welder $G1,125 per hour, and even a construction helper $G750 per hour, collecting and comfortably sharing the money of those who really work for the Project.
What's the deal with the roundabouts? A simple exit ramp on both side side of the river with ensure smooth transition off the and on the bridge from the highway. I bet you police will have to be at the roundabout during peak traffic. Someone is making f***ked up decision.
@@osafosam8763 i hate roundabouts we gotta start building more roads overhead especially for any new road we cutting and ensure the roads are properly sized. Too many times we hear leaders say oh we didn’t plan for that. Which is why all the roads in Guyana so slim and they cant expand them because the buildings are too close
Well said. I have been saying the same thing. But one UA-camr who is a ppp supporter curse me out. This has nothing to do with politics. This a poor shitty decision by the ppp. They needed to build flyover on both sides of the river. That roundabout will be congested and won't solve the problems this bridge is being built for 😢
I hope they get rid of that roundabout and make it a flyover interchange, roundabouts do not work in every traffic situation and with the bridge being free to cross, more people will have incentive to come over casually, it’ll be a traffic nightmare if they don’t get rid of that roundabout.
The new bridge cannot open fast enough, the use of the DHB is the most stressful and poorly managed experience I can remember, which is only made worse by the poorly trained, managed and equipped police force. I cannot adequately express the degree of frustration I feel when subjected to this aggressive, dangerous and haphazard procedure which is only made worse when the whole affair is thrown into further chaos when the presidential motorcade crosses. My vehicle was crashed by a frustrated motorist who ran out of patience and rammed me, all he could say repeatedly was, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Is there no one in the department of transportation with the training to simplify this lawless situation?
They have no benefit in case a work accident happens to a Venezuelan worker. They do not want to set up an Industrial Safety Department like a normal company.
East Asian engineers make the best bridges in the world, this new bridge is expected to have a lifespan of 100 years and is being built to cater to the muddy soil and rough waters of the Demerara River. It should also be noted that Georgetown is under sea level not the East Bank and West Bank which the bridge is located at. Additionally, an Italian architectural engineering company know as Politecnica is overseeing the project and testing the materials being used for construction to ensure that Guyana is getting its money’s worth from the Chinese engineers.
They have been doing this for a long time and now in 2025 they are still doing it, I have my word on it, be careful with this, the Ministry of Labor and the H.S.I. specialists.
The salary is shit 750 $G per hour, that is not enough to complete a food supply for a migrant who has to pay rent, and they are also playing with the workers' salaries.
Get up to date with this injustice of these Venezuelan Guyanese who because they believe they speak two languages can make fun of Venezuelan migrant workers, who call themselves contractors.
Why are they trying to paint a different picture from what's actually on the ground, with much work yet to be done,? How the cheif engineer arrived at that percent
@guyanaplaces592 Right now as we speak things are being fabricated at both ends of the bridge, so that's not correct to say everything is prefabricated,
The project is very good, but the contractors are clowns who play with Venezuelan migrants. The contractors are Guyanese and other Venezuelan Guyanese who make ridiculous contracts.
@guyanaplaces592 lol did you actully know how to judge anything of percentage, I don't think you are that dumb I think when got pay to say or promote something you have to do as you told because you were pay to do so it's the way how the matrix operates
Great, thanks for sharing.Keep posting and your good work.
Thank you
80% has to be completed
Excellent video!👍Thanks for the update.🙏
Thank you. First time we are aware that an 8 lane highway will be built on the East Bank side complete with a roundabout. Something to look forward to.
That's awesome! In Trinidad, that would take decades to start and complete 😂😂😂
ty for the update bai
It is a serious company on an important project, it must give the workers their work equipment free of charge, here it sells the workers safety boots and whatever they need to work.
80% COMPLETE. NEVER. ARE YOU BLIND
Construction began in May 2023. They are working at 4% per month. Do the maths
You don't have to do maths. You can see clearly that's not 80% work complete.
This is why maths is very important

Thanks for sharing an excellent video. The government will have to start considering overpass and merging and exiting lanes, other than roundabout.
Yes all of that is in the pipeline for 2025 to 2030
I hope they get rid of that roundabout and make it a flyover interchange, roundabouts do not work in every traffic situation and with the bridge being free to cross, more people will have incentive to come over casually, it’ll be a traffic nightmare if they don’t get rid of that roundabout.
It was realized the other day when traffic build up at the heros highway roundabout. Very good suggestion. Thank you
Good video
Glad you enjoyed
Awesome!! When is it expected to be completed?
Ending of March 2025

I really like the precast girder how it's going
80% completed these Chinese are very fast..no nonsense!!
As a daily commuter of the bridge: your 80% information is false!!!
👏👏👏🙏✌️❤️🇬🇾👊
Excellent update but it ain look like 80% skunt lol we got more to be done
Let's hope and pray
so they not putting resentments alongside the trench do we see what happens to the roads when the trenches not reveted
They are, it's also earthquake resistant and collision resistant
I hope they make proper entrance ramps to go onto the bridge and not a turning lane.
Guess when the new bridge is completed, the old bridge will be abolished, and the staff will be laid off
They have no benefit in case a work accident happens to a Venezuelan worker. They do not want to set up an Industrial Safety Department like a normal company.
Great work god bless ppp and the and people Guyana
God Bess America …….and then the ppp……lol
Do we have any guarantee for that Bridge ,with all those weight, look like it will sink?

@@MJUA-camrs you sound like cow jump over the moon, sir
They have been doing this for a long time and now in 2025 they are still doing it, I have my word on it, be careful with this, the Ministry of Labor and the H.S.I. specialists.
So we wouldn't be able to use the bridge in another 2 years
2 months
The salary is shit 750 $G per hour, that is not enough to complete a food supply for a migrant who has to pay rent, and they are also playing with the workers' salaries.
Did you mean 80% incomplete ?
Presently it's 83%
You mean 80% INCOMPLET😳
That's what i was thinking more like 50% ain't no way it's in the final stage but coming along well
This won't open till late 2026 if things go as plan.
Wanna bet
They demand to work 18 days to get paid for 12 days because they feel like leaving them a week's pay, for what dirty reason I don't know.
What will happen to the old bridge??
It will be disassembled, and the material will be used to make smaller bridges throughout the country.

Thanks for the update .. lovely ❤️ 😍.
Is this bridge being built by the Chinese?
Get up to date with this injustice of these Venezuelan Guyanese who because they believe they speak two languages can make fun of Venezuelan migrant workers, who call themselves contractors.
80%????
Right now it's 82%
If that's 80% done then I'm a Chinaman 😮.
Construction began in May 2023 and will be completed at the end of March 2025. Do the maths.
Why are they trying to paint a different picture from what's actually on the ground, with much work yet to be done,? How the cheif engineer arrived at that percent
We will see when it's finished in March 2025
@guyanaplaces592 there's still much more work left to be done
Everything is pre fabricated so from February, everything just has to be installed
@guyanaplaces592 Right now as we speak things are being fabricated at both ends of the bridge, so that's not correct to say everything is prefabricated,
This 80% completion is NOT accurate based on the picture posted. It looks more like 50% completion.
That bridge is nowhere 80% complete! That's more like 50% and it can not finish for 31st march 2025!
We will see
The project is very good, but the contractors are clowns who play with Venezuelan migrants. The contractors are Guyanese and other Venezuelan Guyanese who make ridiculous contracts.
Please pronounce ’girders’ correctly
Ok sir, check my next video: ua-cam.com/video/hBSYrh3hG7Q/v-deo.html
Not GEARDERS man, it's pronounced GIRDERS, with the GIR pronounced like in GIR_l {Girl}. Hope this helps.
Thank you
You need to go back to school. I wouldn't even call it 50% complete.

Some of these areas should have Indian names. Do the change Mr. President
Should we name it Mukesh Park and Prakash Hall?
Munesh Park is wild🤣@@guyanaplaces592
Even a 10 year child can see this isn't 80 percent complete so why try bullshit people
Actually, presently, it's 85% completed. I will do an update next month when it's 90% completed.
