Also Stateside wrestling magazines may mention something if it was noteworthy. Back in 1982 there were no write ups about Stampede in any of the major wrestling magazines like Pro Wrestling Illustrated, Inside Wrestling, The Wrestler or any of the offshoots.

82年の藤波は、この相手のようにミドルヘビークラスだと、切れが最高。相手の技も受けて相手のカッコよい見せ場も出して、藤波自身はもちろん全てカッコよい。特に外人を引き立てる技術が最高。この状態が継続しても良かった。日本人対決と、自身の増量は止めた方がよかったかもしれない。
日本組で一番最初にコールを受ける健吾ちゃんの心境はいかがなものだったのでしょうか…

タッグで相手チームにアンドレ、ホーガン、ブッチャー、マードックがいても一度もフォールを取られていない佐山タイガー。シングルでも負けたのはキッド相手の反則負けの一回のみ。まっ、メキシコでのタイトルマッチでアグアーヨとフィッシュマンに3本勝負で一本を許してはいますが(ストレートで勝っちゃうとメヒコのリングで彼らのメンツを潰してしまうのでね)それだけ大切に扱われていたが、アントン・ハイセルという悪魔がタイガーを新日のリングから消し去ってしまった。
