  • Train with firefighters!! In this video, I recorded us air force firefighters train in the flashover trainer. It is really hot in there! It can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. I love this part of the job! We work together, work hard, but we also have fun as a team. If you're thinking about joining the air force to become a firefighter, these are the types of things you'll do. Check out my channel for more videos. Thank you so much for watching! Make sure you share the video!!

    In the beginning of the vid, I got captivated when the training was being explained, 😶😮😯 but when you all went into the burn tank and the young man was explaining how the fire will dance through the thick black smoke, maaaan I got so scared😥.....I felt like I was in the line to ride the tallest roller coaster preparing for a death drop into a dark firepit.😱😰 I paused the vid and reread the title like wait what am I watching here! 😢😨. I am so Mcfreakin Proud, Grateful, Thankful, Appreciative, I mean so much love and respect for you All!!! I totally get the sense of humor to help detox from the intense training, because I can feel the seriousness and see the danger through this vid, Awesome vid BTW! Thanks for letting us in your world! I mean like Wow! Now I need to detox and slow down my heart to prepare for the next training 🤣😂😁, all jokey jokes aside, THANK Y'ALL!😘👨‍🚒👩‍🚒🤙🚒🔥

      You’re absolutely right. It’s very important that you listen. I’ve lost friends in this job and that’s not fun BUT we have fun in other parts of the job, because it is so serious and stressful. The actual fire is fun for some people but you’re absolutely right, this is very important.

      LilMarc98 the training? Or the Air Force? ... regardless it’s all what you make it bruh. If you come in expecting to be babied or if you don’t have the drive to progress, this is not the career field for you. You could get yelled at if you do something wrong because what we do is serious. The reason why you guys see a serious but fun work environment is because we make it that way. So yes I think it’s worth it 😎🤙🏽 just come in positive

    In 2020 I really want to enlist and be a firefighter or loadmaster. I’m currently 22 not doing terrible, I’m working and doing ok, but I want to do something bigger than myself. Travel a bit and just be more independent. Gain new experiences.

      JFallacy yeah bro do it! It’s a great way to come up! If you come in with a positive attitude and show that you work hard and really want to progress, people will go out of their way to help you and you’ll go far. The travel is amazing!! You already know that 😎🤙🏽

      RadBrad oh if I go loadmaster my plan wouldn’t really be to transfer it over to civilian. I would rack up money (flight pay, hazard pay, all the deployments they do) and travel as much as possible.

    Dope video yo! I’m considering enlisting myself. I want fire protection but I heard it’s not always available. How would you describe your experience?

      Thank you! Yeah it's pretty tough to get a slot. I love it though. I never would have experienced the things I have now if I didn't join the air force. We don't get a lot of fires, but but the job is still pretty cool

      I used my GoPro 6. I use it for a lot of my videos actually. Getting an upgraded one would’nt be a bad idea either. Full send!

    Hey my name is jabari and I have 29 days until i leave for bmt and the job that i got was airforce firefighter and i honestly think this is the perfect job for me ! , but ive just been thinking recently should i sign a 4 or 6 year contract i just dont wanna sign a 4 year and lose money or miss out on higher rank faster but i also dont want to be stuck for an additional 2 years if i were to find out military life isnt for me. Honestly im just a young kid looking for some advice so if I could get some feedback that would be so helpful :)

    • @positivitytravels
      @positivitytravels  4 роки тому +1

      Signing a 6 year contract would be slightly beneficial in ranking up, but as long as you prove to your work group that you're there to work hard and not play around, you'll make rank pretty fast with a 4 year contract. I see people pass others in rank all of the time. Since you're unsure, I would recommend signing the 4 year, that way you can get out at the end of your contract if you don't like it and you'll have the option re-enlist if you enjoy it. Hope I could help!!
