So natural and casual on camera. Loving it, and also you such an inspirational to the next generation. Keep doing you, and don’t let the negativity get to you, block out the noise and keep moving forward. Keep it up Doctor Sánchez. Sending lots of love, positivity, abundance, and prosperity. Much love
I’m curious about eyelash, makeup, and nails just curious because I didn’t think about all those little things or big things 🤷🏼♀️ sin jusgar so para mi conocimiento 🙏
Not really interested in becoming a surgeon. My interest is PT but idk I love your personality and your videos. Wish you uploaded more but I'm sure you very busy saving lives out there Thabkyou for what you do!
That's what I think when this vid come to my newsfeed. Really uncommon. Anyway, I'm Indonesian. Here, there's none surgeon can have that kind of nails and fake eyelash
Those look like real nails to me. As a former OR nurse, one’s nails can’t be more than 1/8 past your fingertip. Neatly manicured like she has is more hygienic. Her nails are fine in the ORs I worked in.
You should look up a woman named Shannon Mary Kent. No one knows her story, but it puts all these women in the medical field to shame in my opinion. God rest her soul
@@youreadingleberry7434 Why even compare the two? What triggered you to say this on a video of a surgeon? Interesting choice of words - “these medical women” and “shame.”
@@marisa9832 look i over reacted but my point still stands. I'm in uni right now and almost all women i know wanna be doctors, and they're barely passing their classes. Meanwhile women like Shannon are getting blown up by suicide bombers and serving our country, but everyone says how "inspired" they are by doctors. they obviously care more about status than service and sacrifice. Just be more open minded and quit putting certain people on a pedestal because of a title.
@@youreadingleberry7434 I don’t think it’s very open-minded to generalize women in the medical field. You said that most women you know are barely passing their classes and must want to be doctors for the status. That’s just the people you hang out with. Why single out women? You’re sending the message that you think they’re less competent, shallow, and don’t deserve any sort of recognition. They’re not even worth inspiring someone? I could say the same exact thing about many people I know in the military, or other fields, but I won’t, because that would devalue the sacrifices that the truly dedicated ones have made. The bottom line is that both professions require hard work and protect lives, but they shouldn’t be compared.
Not sure if she is doing general surgery, but it could be a speciality too. Usually surgery is unpredictable with the timing. I remember coming in at 7am and leaving after midnight to be back at 8:30am to do wound care and then rounds on patients from the day before. I thought surgery is very cool but it can be exhausting. Was present in a surgery that lasted 10 hours learned so much, glad I didn't drink coffee or a lot of water the morning off. Scrubbing in everytime you leave is a pain so you just learn to hold it and get through it. My surgeon was amazing , but the sacrifices that surgeons make being away from family, and missing events. The thing I believe for me at least what helped get through those rotations is thinking about the patient's families , how they are worried for their loved one and you want to ensure the patient makes it to see their family and be present for all events in the future.
Hi how are you hope you are doing well…., I have a question. I want to be a general surgeon so in general surgeon do we do plastic surgeon if so can you choose not to do it . Thank you so much I am waiting for a answer 😊have a good day byeee
Not fake eyelashes those are extensions, less likely to fall easily and not fake nails those look manicured plus she is in US of A not some other country
I have been tempted for a few years to switch after I finish my bachelor degree to a medical doctor. I am an honor role student and I only hesitate out of fear that I won't get to grow old with my love. However, if they love me wouldn't they be there in the end cheering me through the loneliest and hardest parts?
@@chrisradja2876 I know better and it's prohibited to wear artificial nails or extenders. You do understand nails grow right? So if her natural nail is at the standard length then it's ok.

Haha, it gets crazy but I do my best to eat. Lol!
Love the video, you are an inspiration. I am a premed student and wondering, does it matter what undergraduate degree you get to get into med school ?
It doesn’t, as long as you have your prerequisites in order.

How come they allow your eyelash extensions/fake eyelashes in the OR? Also what about the nails? I thought these were all big no’s.

I know a neurosurgeon with eyelash extensions so i don’t think it matters the nails are way different

What field of surgery did she specialize on? is it just surgery in general in America?
I think it’s just GS
