Blind Mary 🇮🇪🕶️ AKA Máire Dhall was attributed to Turloch O'Carolan the blind 🕶️Irish 🇮🇪harpist, though there is no definitive proof of this, and many (including me) think that if he did write it, it is not typical of his style. To support the theory, it is known that he was acquainted with a female harpist who, like him, was also blind. Her name happened to be Mary, and Blind Mary is Máire Dhall. But who really knows?
